Geoff and Kate decide to transport Robyn to Coopers Crossing when her dialysis machine is on the blink but their mercy mission is interrupted by a search for a missing small plane. The pilot is suffering from typhoid and has put down in a remote location. His passenger has embezzled a million dollars from his employers and is on the run from the police. The crazed men hijack the Nomad and take Kate hostage in a desperate bid to flee the country.
