Kate returns to Coopers Crossing and Geoff is determined to convince her to stay. Chris needs to go to Sydney for further tests but is waylaid when a plane carrying two sisters crashes on take-off. Chris has trouble sorting out next of kin as it appears both women were married to the same man. Geoff is devastated when Kate agrees to stay in the Crossing only until Chris returns from Sydney.
