The townsfolk of Coopers Crossing are amazed when Geoff's brother Barry Standish turns up out of the blue. There is obvious friction between the brothers and Geoff refuses to allow Barry to stay with him. Barry proves to be popular with the locals and he wastes no time in trying to seduce Kate. Geoff tries to protect Kate from his lecherous brother but Kate is not impressed.
