01:30Electoral authorities also ratified the beginning of the trial law as up from noon on Friday.
01:37Let us remember that the electoral process takes pleasings and economic crises and high levels of insecurity,
01:45which according to different analyses would be the decisive factors in the results of the presidential runoff election.
01:54On Friday, assisted voting move forwards in Ecuador for people with disabilities within the process of the presidential runoff.
02:07The Ecuadorian National Electoral Council deployed 174 voting stations and 110 votes in the country.
02:16The operation has the logistic and security support of the national police, the army and the traffic agents.
02:28Cuba marks on Friday the 23rd anniversary of the failed rallying Cuba against Venezuelan President Ngo Chavez in 2002.
02:36The commemoration was held at the Venezuelan Embassy in Havana with the attendance of representatives of various Cuba's government agencies
02:43and organizations of solidarity with the Bolivarian nation.
02:47Participants highlighted the roles of the Venezuelan people and patriotic soldiers in following the Cuba
02:52and bringing back Chavez to his position as elected President of the Republic.
02:56The Cuba then was created by Venezuelan oligarchy sectors with the support of the U.S. government
03:01in an effort to stop the deep social transformation started by Commander Hugo Chavez in 1999.
03:08In the Dominican Republic, public officials are working to identify victims of the nightclub roof collapse
03:18that killed at least 220 people as crew completed a lung surge and survivors earlier on Thursday.
03:25In this regard, it was informed that all the bodies have been removed from the site
03:30and the debris has been cleared while family members of victims remain at the Florence's pathology offices
03:38waiting for the information of their missing relatives.
03:43The exact cause of the disaster is currently under investigation as the Dominican Presidency
03:48announced the creation of an investigative commission into the exact cause
03:53in praise of leading experts from both the Dominican Republic and abroad.
04:04In this context, relatives of the victims accused authorities of delaying in releasing the bodies
04:09after they have been waiting for more than 72 hours in tents set up
04:13the main entrance of the court or office for the remains of their loved ones to be delivered.
04:20The families are demanding authorities to better organize and speed up the release process
04:26which has been affected by alleged confunction with the remains of some of the victims.
04:32The process here is too slow, too slow.
04:44I don't even have words to express what this is like,
04:47because they are going to hand our relatives over to us in bags,
04:50just to bury them right away, because they are unrecognizable,
04:53with the bad smell of decomposition.
04:56We won't be able to hold a wake for them, not even for a couple of hours.
05:01In this regard, on April 8, 2025, music fell silent with the tragic death of Ruby Perez,
05:07the most powerful voice in Merengue.
05:09The musician was performing at the Jets' nightclub in Santo Domingo
05:13at the time when the ceiling collapsed, claiming more than 200 lives.
05:17Her correspondent dates into sounds with the details.
05:24The National Theatre became a shrine.
05:27There amidst flowers and sounds the people bid farewell to their idol,
05:30the coffin covered with the flags of the Dominican Republic and Venezuela
05:34as a symbol of Ruby's love for both nations.
05:39I am overwhelmed by the event, we lost our great idol, Ruby Perez,
05:43we lost many people, neighbors of our country, many, many people.
05:46I've got a broken heart, I think the owners of the nightclub should have made sure there weren't any failures,
05:51they should have prevented that incident although when God commands, there's nothing we can do.
05:55However, if the collapse was for a failure, the owners could have avoided all those deaths.
06:01Ruby not only conquered his homeland but also Venezuela adopted him as its own.
06:07Subsequently, he reciprocated in love and memorable performances the Dominican people love sin.
06:13But his music has even crossed borders, uniting hearts beyond the Caribbean.
06:18For many years, we, actually, when I was a child I had always seen Ruby Perez in Venezuela in all his performances on our TV channels,
06:27and I always considered him as a Venezuelan artist.
06:30My anecdote is that when I arrived in the Dominican Republic I got to know he was born there,
06:35because Ruby Perez was always a Venezuelan for us.
06:58Roberto Antonio Perez Herrera, alias Ruby Perez, was born in Jaina in 1956.
07:04Ruby dreamed of being a baseball player but an accident led him to discover his true passion, music.
07:10He studied at the National Conservatory and stood out in both Los Hijos de Rey band and the Wilfrido Vargas Orchestra
07:17before the start of his successful career as a soloist in 1987.
07:22With hits such as Volveré enamorado de ella and Buscando Tus Besos,
07:37Ruby Perez became the ambassador of Marengue.
07:40His gold and platinum records in Venezuela and international awards are part of his legacy.
07:45In his last farewell his fans came and sang his tracks to remember him, with the joy that characterized him.
07:52He was giving his last farewell with sorrow but the people remembered his life.
08:04Amid tears and songs the people bid him farewell, recognizing him as he always was, happy and craving for his loved ones.
08:11Ruby Perez not only left a mark in music but also an imprint in the souls of those who loved him.
08:17Ruby Perez, the voice that made the world dance now sings in eternity.
08:34His legacy leaps on in every note in every heart that beats to the rhythm of Marengue.
08:53Let's take a very short break but don't go away because we'll be right back and sing with us.

12:19In this regard, the Chinese Ministry of Finance said that even if the U.S. continues to impose higher tariffs,
12:24it will no longer make economic sense and will become a joke in the history of the world economy.
