00:00Hello there, good morning and it's a much brighter morning compared to what we had yesterday
00:04but it's worth keeping your raincoat close by as there's still plenty of showers in the
00:08forecast, particularly across parts of the North West where they could be heavy at times,
00:12perhaps even bringing a sprinkling of snow across the Scottish Highlands and eventually
00:16across the rest of England and Wales through the afternoon we'll see more showers popping
00:20up. Once again these could be heavy, we may even see some hail and the odd rumble of
00:24thunder. And temperatures are slightly dipped down compared to what they were yesterday
00:28but still above average for the time of year so highs of around 10 to 11 Celsius.
00:34Through into the first part of the evening we're still going to see plenty of showers
00:38skirt their way eastwards but eventually dying away across eastern parts of the country and
00:42with plenty of clear skies that means temperatures are going to dip away and likely to see some
00:46patchy frost towards the morning, particularly across the northeastern parts of Scotland
00:51but a different story across parts of the West, Northern Ireland, Wales, parts of Devon
00:56and Cornwall seeing a much cloudier start to the day also with some heavy outbreaks
01:00of rain and starting to turn fairly windy around exposed coasts too. So quite a split
01:04in the weather as we head into Wednesday but feeling fairly chilly across parts of the
01:08east. Eventually though these outbreaks of rain slowly moving their way eastwards, once
01:14again some quite heavy and persistent outbreaks of rain at times, particularly across parts
01:18of the south, though it may brighten up a little bit across the far north of Scotland
01:22though still once again can't rule out a few showers, once again these showers turning
01:26rather heavy at times and we may even see a sprinkling of snow across the Pennines in
01:30the heaviest of showers and a slightly chillier day on offer too across parts of Scotland,
01:35highs of only 6 to 7 Celsius here but still across the south above average highs of around
01:4010 to 11 Celsius. Eventually we'll see that rain across the south east clear away and
01:46then we do have high pressure building into the Atlantic stretching across the country
01:51for Thursday and Friday which means a much drier end to the week, lots of sunshine around
01:56though turning quite chilly overnight which means we could also see some frosty mornings.
02:00That's it from me, bye bye.
