00:00Good morning everyone, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press on Wednesday, January the 15th,
00:04bringing you some of our top headlines today. First of all, something sent out this morning,
00:09police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15 year old girl. Olivia was last
00:17seen in the Frenchgate Centre on January the 11th and has not been seen or heard from since. There
00:22is a picture on the website and details of how you can get in touch with the police if you have seen
00:28her. Then for another police matter, an investigation by Doncaster South Neighbourhood Policing team
00:35into a prolific shoplifter has resulted in Adrian Nixon being jailed for five months. After gathering
00:42numerous reports and evidence of Nixon's offending, Neighbourhood Policing officers
00:48increased their patrols in the Mexborough area in order to apprehend him. And then finally,
00:54we put something out at the beginning of the week about a new campaign that's been launched,
00:57eight people have been arrested in two days as part of a dedicated and proactive policing week
01:02of action to crack down on crime and anti-social behaviour in the Doncaster city centre. Like I
01:09said, the launch was on Monday and five people were arrested that day for a number of offences
01:13which included failing to appear before court, prison recall and burglary. So you can read all
01:20of those three stories on the website today, of course www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and we'll
01:26keep you updated on Facebook and X as the day goes on and I hope you have a lovely Wednesday.
