00:00Three days dedicated to food security and agri-food systems,
00:05infrastructure and sustainable investments, and global health.
00:09At the Via Pescara, the meeting of the G7 Development Ministers,
00:13scheduled until October 24,
00:16is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
00:21It is an important G7 that falls at a particularly difficult time,
00:24because we have decided to open our work with an international conference
00:30in which Israelis, Lebanese and Palestinians will participate,
00:35where they will try to find all the tools to help the civilian populations.
00:41I am thinking of Gaza, I am thinking of the Lebanese,
00:45I am thinking of the Syrians who live in Lebanon,
00:47but I am also thinking of the Palestinians in the north of Israel
00:52and the Israelis in the north of Israel.
00:55So all the civilian populations, regardless of nationality,
01:00must be helped.
01:02And I believe that here we can send a clear signal,
01:06because with the presence of the three main interlocutors
01:10who will deal with the G7 countries,
01:13I hope we can take a step forward.
01:16In the foreground, therefore, are the challenges of geopolitical scenarios
01:19and the need for collaboration between the G7 countries
01:23and those on the road to development for a common, global and sustainable growth.
01:28Food security, the evolution of health systems
01:31and the link to digital and inventory transitions,
01:34the developing countries, not only themselves,
01:37have an opportunity for growth and socio-economic recovery,
01:40but they can be a steering wheel that stabilizes the supply chains
01:45of the G7 countries, thus ensuring global competitiveness and sustainable growth.
01:51Cooperation in this area is fundamental,
01:54one of the development keys in which companies are ready to do their part.
01:59Today we are talking about cooperation.
02:01It is also important that the G7 countries also deal with countries that are in a worse position.
02:06And here too, companies want to be an important part,
02:09through joint ventures and other things,
02:11to help the companies of the developing countries,
02:13in particular of Africa.
