00:00He will fight for a prestigious world title this November,

00:04the Filipino-American kickboxer, Jackie Buntan.

00:07This is Rafael Bandayrey's report.

00:11After being injured in his title shot,

00:15the Filipino-American kickboxer, Jackie Buntan, finally got a chance.

00:22He will fight Anissa Meksen of France

00:24for the inaugural One Women's Throwweight Kickboxing World Championship

00:28at 1-1-6-9.

00:30Buntan admitted that she will not be the only one to lose in the eyes of many.

00:35However, she did not give up even though her opponent has more experience.

00:41On paper, with our numbers stacked together,

00:43I am the underdog in this fight.

00:46You know, she has way more experience.

00:47She's been in kickboxing.

00:50So, that's my fuel, is being able to fight somebody on paper better than me.

00:56And that's the whole goal behind it.

00:58TUBONG California is also hoping to give a good performance.

01:02But for now, women's combat sports are even more popular.

01:07I think it's very big for women.

01:09You know, I only hope to see more female fights.

01:12I do think there's been a decline in female fights on the one cards this year

01:19as compared to before.

01:22So, being able to headline one of the later cards in the year,

01:25it's super special.

01:28And to do it for a world title makes it even that much more special.

01:31On the same card, the Filipino MMA fighter, Danny Daking Kingad,

01:35will also fight in Sabac.

01:37The 1169 will be held on November 9

01:39at Lumpini Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
