00:00The series has been prolonged between New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx in the continuation of the 2024 WNBA Finals.

00:08This is the story of Darrell Oclares.

00:12After their bitter defeat in Game 1 last Friday,

00:17New York Liberty was able to recover against Minnesota Lynx.

00:21Following their 80-66 win in Game 2 of the 2024 WNBA Finals this Monday.

00:30New York felt early in the first quarter that they were able to post a 10-point advantage against Minnesota.

00:39In the last 4 minutes of the game, Lynx was able to chase them down 2-2

00:45but New York lost a 12-0 lead to celebrate their victory in Game 2.

00:52An all-around performance was shown by star forward Brianna Stewart

00:57who collected 21 points, a 3-bounce, 5 assists, and a WNBA record of 7 steals.

01:05In a post-game press conference, Stewart said that although Lynx was able to beat them 3-4,

01:13it was not a loss for New York.

01:33For Lynx's forward and reigning defensive player of the year, Nafisa Collier,

01:38they were able to recover in front of their home crowd.

01:44We have to respond. We have to come out playing better than we did in these two games.

01:47It's hard. We're both competing for a championship.

01:50You have to play with a level of desperation from the very beginning.

01:53So that's what we're going to need to do to come out in Game 3.

01:57New York and Minnesota will return to action in Game 3 this Thursday at 8 a.m. in the Philippines.
