00:00Hello, and a very good morning to you. Fine and dry if you're starting this day in the
00:04east of the country, but it's a very different picture the further west you are. We have
00:08wet and windy weather arriving from the west with these two areas of low pressure sweeping
00:13eastwards as we head through Monday. A squeeze on the isobars, particularly strong winds,
00:17and it will be staying quite unsettled through Tuesday as well. But as we head back to this
00:23morning, again, it's going to be a pretty dry and bright day if you're in the southeast
00:26of England. But for the southwest and for parts of Wales, already pretty grey with some
00:31drizzly conditions, rain turning heavier and more persistent as we head through the late
00:36morning and into the early afternoon. There is a yellow rain warning in force for parts
00:40of southwest Scotland, and with a strong southerly breeze through the Irish Sea gales here, it
00:45could make for some difficult driving conditions with all that rain around and the spray on
00:50the road. Temperatures at best are going to be mid or high teens, and it will be feeling
00:55quite chilly under this cloud and with the rain. But across the far southeast, there's
01:00going to be a warm and humid flow still, and we could get 25, possibly even 26 in the far
01:05southeast of England. So they may hold on to some evening sunshine in the far southeast,
01:11but that rain will be slowly and steadily moving eastwards through the rest of the evening,
01:15a damp night for most. And we'll see some clear spells and further blustery showers
01:20moving in from the west as well. And those stronger winds and that extra cloud will give
01:26temperatures a little bit higher than we've seen recently. So not those cool, fresh mornings
01:29that we've become used to in some spots as well. Through the rest of the day, there could
01:34be some cloud lingering at first across the southeast and for the far northeast of Scotland
01:38on Tuesday morning. But it will be a day of blustery showers and some bright and sunny
01:43spells. Showers particularly heavy and frequent across Northern Ireland and particularly across
01:48Scotland as well. Temperatures in the far northwest at best in the mid-teens and with
01:53that strong wind, particularly around close to this low pressure, it will be feeling quite
01:58cold on the exposed coast and over the high ground as well. Further southeast, temperatures
02:03do pick up a little bit, warmest again in the far southeast and out of that breeze and
02:08in some sunshine. Again, not feeling too bad on Tuesday. Heading through the evening, it
02:13will stay fairly unsettled. We still have further showers around and there will be further
02:18unsettled weather heading in towards next week. Do check out our YouTube channel if
02:22you want to find out any more on that.
