00:00We've been talking about it for a while and now the warmer weather is here but
00:03it's not going to last very long and certainly first thing on Wednesday
00:07morning it won't feel all that warm. Quite cool conditions across northern
00:10Britain, temperatures well down into single figures. Not quite so chilly
00:14across the south. Here we keep a fair bit of cloud around, some outbreaks of rain
00:18during Tuesday evening. That will steadily start to push away, one or two
00:22heavy bursts possible for a time. But as I said fizzling out, staying very windy
00:26across the northeast with gales at times across Shetland, blowing in plenty
00:31of showers through the night here. But for most we'll see lighter winds, clear
00:35skies and a fine and sunny start to Wednesday. Now it's not going to be sunny
00:39everywhere, quite a lot of cloud pushing in quickly across Northern Ireland and
00:42West Wales. So quite a grey day here, might even be a little bit of drizzle
00:46here and there for West Wales, Northern Ireland and later on into maybe
00:50southwest Scotland. Bit murky around the coast in the southwest as well but for
00:54many central and eastern parts yes some cloud will develop through the day but
00:58we should see some bright weather, some hazy sunshine lifting the temperatures
01:03after that chilly start back up to average or maybe even slightly above
01:08temperatures. We haven't seen too often recently, widely into the 20s across
01:12England and Wales and 20 or 21 across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
01:17Still a bit colder across the Northern Isles but even here the breeze will
01:21continue to ease through Wednesday. Most will have a fine Wednesday evening, we'll
01:26continue to see this thicker cloud just drift its way up the west coast of
01:30Scotland so some light rain and drizzle is possible here otherwise most places
01:35dry as we head into Thursday and with the warmer air in place it will be a
01:39much milder start Thursday morning compared to Wednesday morning with
01:43temperatures in some towns and cities staying in the mid-teens. So a warmer
01:48feel throughout the day on Thursday quite a bit of cloud around it's not
01:52blue skies everywhere far from it might see one or two showers particularly over the
01:56hills of southwest Scotland maybe a little bit of drizzle at times one or
02:00two showers possibly developing elsewhere but for most places it's dry
02:04quite a bit of sunshine and offer across the southern half of the UK and also for
02:08northern Scotland and where it's sunny temperatures will get into the mid 20s
02:1326, 27, even 28 is possible the Murray Coast may get to 26 as well so
02:20temperatures significantly higher than they have been you will notice that
02:24warmer feel. If you're not a fan of the warmth well there is some good news on
02:28the way because the cloud is thickening down to the southwest and later on we
02:32may well see some showers pushing in here it's part of this cold front ahead
02:36of it high pressure and that warmer air moving in over the next couple of days
02:40but here comes the cold front and just watch as it pushes away that warmth as
02:45we go through Friday and by the weekend we're back to low pressure sitting to
02:49the northwest temperatures back much closer to average with a mixture of
02:53sunshine and showers. For more on that make sure you subscribe to our YouTube
02:57channels and of course there's always plenty more right across social media.
