00:00Good afternoon. Well, it's a lot cloudier out there compared to Saturday with outbreaks
00:04of rain and drizzle, but it will be turning brighter as we go through Monday. And there
00:09is still some brightness around, especially across East Anglia this afternoon and northeastern
00:13England, but it will soon be replaced with cloud and outbreaks of rain that's across
00:19much of the UK. We've got heavier spells of rain coming into Northern Ireland, into Wales
00:25and southwestern England, too, that could even contain the odd rumble of thunder. Otherwise,
00:32temperatures are going to be around average for the time of year, with highs up to 16
00:35or 17 degrees towards the south. So it's a damp end to the weekend with heavy outbreaks
00:42of rain continuing to push their way north and eastward, still with the risk of some
00:47thunder and really affecting much of Scotland to start Monday morning. Behind that, though,
00:54it will be turning drier with clear skies, but we do have showers already moving through.
01:00Some of these could be heavy and emerging to give longer spells of rain across northern
01:04Wales as we start Monday morning. But otherwise, towns and cities still holding up at around
01:1010 or 11 degrees. So a gloomy start to the day across Scotland with outbreaks of rain
01:17and the winds coming in from the east, giving a chilly feel here. Otherwise, for much of
01:22the UK, a brighter start to the day with plenty of sunny spells. But as we go into
01:28the afternoon, showers will be developing. Some of these could be heavy, perhaps even
01:32with the odd rumble of thunder emerging to give some longer spells of rain. Temperatures
01:38still reaching up to 17 or 18 degrees in the sunshine, but feeling cooler underneath the
01:43persistent rain across Orkney and Shetland. So some early evening sunshine through Monday
01:51evening. But further towards the south, we do have heavier spells of rain moving through,
01:57affecting much of the south into Wales and then also into the Midlands, further towards
02:03the north, some clear skies into Monday night. Then as we look ahead Tuesday, we've got low
02:09pressure that's still circulating around the UK. This is ex Hurricane Kirk that generally
02:15stays towards the south of us and more so into France. But that's still one to watch.
02:21Once that clears through, then we hold on to some colder conditions from the north to
02:27end the week. But if you want more details on the forecast where you are, make sure to
