00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you this Thursday. Some warm sunshine
00:04coming through today but it will trigger some showers in the south and the west
00:08and also we do have a weather front which we've seen for the last few days
00:12producing some rain. Breezy across Orkney and Shetland but you'll wake up to some
00:16sunshine as will you if you live in the northwest of Scotland. Northern Ireland
00:21also doing quite well, northwest England, Wales, central southern England seeing
00:25some fine weather. Watch out for one or two mist and fog patches. Further east
00:28so you can see where the cloud is thick producing some outbreaks of rain fairly
00:32sporadic even so it is there and with this onshore breeze feeling a bit cooler
00:36along the coast with some low cloud. So through Thursday we watch as this warm
00:42sunshine allows the cloud to build and that means some showers across central
00:47and southern parts of England and Wales as well as Northern Ireland which could
00:50turn heavy with the risk of thunder. A few also for the Western Highlands. Now
00:54brighter skies dry weather towards the northeast but notice this zone here
00:58anywhere from the Midlands towards North Wales you could see some outbreaks of
01:02rain but in the sunshine with some high UV temperatures rising to around 22-23
01:08degrees Celsius. Now through Thursday evening and overnight many areas will
01:12turn dry as these showers fade away but the cloud will still be across central
01:18parts of England and Wales again with some bursts of rain. Elsewhere some low
01:24clouds along the east coast overnight and some mist and fog patches in fact
01:28turning a bit cooler across central southern England as temperatures dip
01:31down to single figures a similar situation for the northeast of Scotland.
01:34So first thing on Friday morning the top and the tail of the country wake up to
01:39some sunshine. This area here will always remain cloudier and again a little bit
01:44of patchy rain and drizzle where the cloud is thick enough over Snowdonia say
01:48as well as Pennines but again the cloud will break at times. Now through the day
01:53we will see some fine conditions the chance of some showers breaking out
01:56across central and eastern areas of England Northern Ireland as well and
02:00again some warmth in the air with some strong sunshine across Scotland. Your
02:05outlook into the weekend well it's sunshine and showers on Saturday
02:09particularly towards the south and on Sunday it's drier all around a bit more
02:13cloud in the north. See you later.
