00:00We found out that the regular season could extend into Monday.

00:07I mean, it's not a guarantee, but it does seem likely, Matt, that they're going to have

00:11to play probably at least one of those two games.

00:14I don't know about both, but with the way that this thing is headed, as long as these

00:19two teams just keep winning, they're going to face each other on Monday.

00:22Now the Braves are up 6-5 in the season series.

00:26So basically, if Atlanta can hang on and get within a game, then they're going to have

00:33to play two of those games for sure, because the tie is not going to break it.

00:37Braves play against Kansas City.

00:38They're going to need all the games.

00:40So we know the Royals are going to have to win, too.

00:43And the Brewers are basically playing for nothing, so I'm not really sure how that's

00:46going to set up.

00:47But if history tells us anything, Matt, the Brewers didn't really need much last year

00:51either, and they were playing really hard down the stretch and playing all their guys.

00:55Yeah, which I would assume the same is going to happen.

00:58And I think you look at that situation, it almost feels like we're inevitably headed

01:03toward with the games on Monday.

01:06And you just wish that there could have been a little more foresight into that, because

01:09now you're going to have a lot of rotations out of whack and some real obstacles facing

01:15whatever team makes it out of that as they go into the playoffs.

01:19It's I think unfortunate for them.

01:21Obviously, if they make the playoffs, though, then they made the playoffs and they'll adjust.

01:25But yeah, it's going to be a wild weekend going down the stretch, to say the least.

01:30Like you mentioned, these teams are not playing teams that have nothing to play for, that

01:35are just going through the motions and already looking ahead to their winter vacations.

01:39So I think we're going to see some real good baseball.

01:42I don't foresee any teams just laying down for anyone else at this point.
