00:00All right, now let's take a look at the wild card scenario, because I think that is what's
00:07going to go down to the last day of the season.
00:08It nearly did last year, Matt, as you know, and again, Arizona coming down to the last
00:13day.
00:14They end up going to the World Series.
00:15So you got to fight.
00:16Braves are 54 and 44.
00:19I feel really good about them, and I think they'll probably tinker a little bit with
00:22their team.
00:24So I probably have them in.
00:26But Matt, after that, I don't know.
00:27The Cardinals started off so poor, they've been two different teams this season.
00:32Mets just lost two out of three to Miami.
00:35Arizona's finally picked it up here a little bit.
00:36I have some confidence in them.
00:39San Diego's two games over.
00:40We know it's a hugely important season for them to get back into the postseason.
00:44And by the way, the Pirates are right there one game over, too.
00:48And I kind of feel like the Pirates also are another team, Matt, that they're not going
00:51to sit back at the deadline.
00:52But there's only three spots for those six teams, and we didn't even do the Cubs or the
00:56Reds.
00:58I think those teams right now kind of feel like they're hanging around, too.
01:01Too close to call, it feels like, right?

01:06It is really tough.
01:07Like you said, the Braves have a four-game lead right now on dropping out of the wild
01:12card.
01:13So even as the injuries mount for them, you still feel like that's enough of a head start
01:17and they still have enough talent.
01:18But the rest of those teams, yeah, mix them up in a hat and pick names.
01:22You know, the Pirates are the most interesting.
01:23They're the hottest team right now.
01:25We know about Skeen's Mania.
01:27I don't know if they really want to get in there, honestly.
01:30They're already a little worried, I think, about Skeen's Mania and to get another start
01:34too or potentially more in the postseason scares them.
01:37But obviously they're going to go for it.
01:39I mean, at least the players on the field are.
01:42I don't know if they're going to make any big deals.
01:44But yeah, there's a lot of talent there.
01:46I think you mentioned the Padres.
01:47They're a team that I would think can get it together and do enough to get in.
01:51But I mean, yeah, there's no way of knowing those final two spots.
01:54It's going to just be kind of a mad rush down the stretch.
01:57And like you said, there might be a team you just didn't post on that graphic that really
02:02gets hot and really gets going and jumps in there.
02:05There's plenty of good ones within four games.
02:08But when you have that many teams, four games is a lot to jump over.
02:12If it's just like there's two teams, one needs to make up four games, you can see it happening.
02:16But when there's that many teams in your way, it's tough to see like the Nationals getting
02:19in there.
02:20But it's going to be a fun race down the stretch.
