00:00:00Thank you, Dr. Campbell, Dr. Zakir Naik, for your presentations as well as the response.
00:00:09Lastly, we have the audience participation session, namely the question and answer session.
00:00:17To extract maximum benefit in the limited time of 60 minutes approximately that we have
00:00:23available, we would like the following rules to be observed.
00:00:30Your question should be only on the topic, the Koran and the Bible in the light of the
00:00:36subject of science.
00:00:40Questions out of the topic would not be entertained.
00:00:44Kindly state your question briefly and to the point.
00:00:49This is not a lecture time, neither a counter-question time for the questioners.
00:00:55Dr. William Campbell and Dr. Zakir Naik should answer comprehensively and each answer should
00:01:04not exceed five minutes.
00:01:07Four mics have been provided in the auditorium for the questions from the mics, two next
00:01:14to the stage for the gents and two in the rear of the center aisles for the ladies.
00:01:23Those who would like to put forward a question to Dr. William Campbell may kindly queue up
00:01:28behind the mics.
00:01:30On my left, gents in the front, ladies in the rear, and those who would like to put
00:01:35forward a question to Dr. Zakir may kindly line up behind the mics.
00:01:41On my right, gents in the front and the ladies in the rear.
00:01:46I would like the audience in the balcony to kindly excuse us.
00:01:52We are happy that this is a full session, jam-packed hall, but we request you to kindly
00:01:56take the trouble to come down to the mics if you would like to put forward a question.
00:02:02Only one question at a time may be put forward.
00:02:06If you have a second question, you would have to line up behind again to put forward your
00:02:10second question.
00:02:12Written questions on index cards available from the volunteers in the aisles would be
00:02:18given secondary preference after the questions on the mics are handled by the speakers.
00:02:25Please write on the card to whom your question is addressed, Dr. William Campbell or Dr.
00:02:31Zakir Naik, so that they can be put in the appropriate boxes in front of you, transparent
00:02:36boxes with the names Dr. William Campbell and Dr. Zakir Naik put on them, so that the
00:02:43questions could be shaken up by the coordinators and the speakers themselves could select the
00:02:49questions at random.
00:02:52These would be screened by the panel of the speakers to see that they are relevant and
00:02:58on the topic and okayed by the coordinators to be put forward on the coordinator's mic,
00:03:04which the speakers would have to answer.
00:03:08Kindly state your name and profession before putting forward your question.
00:03:12We will allow one question at a time in a zigzag fashion alternately addressed to each
00:03:18speaker.
00:03:19So first question next to the stage, second question next to the stage, third question
00:03:23on my left in the rear, fourth question in the rear on my right, and so on.
00:03:30We would allow approximately 40 minutes for these questions, then we switch over to the
00:03:36questions on the slips.
00:03:37May we have the first question from the mic on my left for Dr. William Campbell.
00:03:43I would like to ask Dr. Campbell if in Genesis it says when it talks about the flood, Noah's
00:03:51flood, it talks about that the water covered the surface of the earth, all the creations
00:03:57and all the mountains and everything, and it says that it covers the highest mountain
00:04:02on earth, and that was 15 cubits, which is in Arabic 15 foot, you know, qadam.
00:04:11So we know scientifically that the highest mountain on earth is not 15 foot, you know,
00:04:18it is a lot higher than that.
00:04:20So how come in Genesis it says that the water covered everything, every single mountain
00:04:26on earth, and the highest was 15 feet?
00:04:35Thank you for your question.
00:04:37I think it's saying that that is above the highest mountain.
00:04:42If the highest mountain is 3,000 meters, well, then it's 15 feet over 15 foot above it.
00:04:50However.
00:04:51Brother, we will not allow any questions in between, no counter questions, please.
00:04:57Let the questioner put his question, full stop.
00:05:00Then the speaker gives his answer in whatever manner he chooses.
00:05:04And I looked into this in the Koran, I think it actually would be understood to be the
00:05:09same way, because it says in Surah 11, verse 40, the fountains of the earth gushed forth,
00:05:16and the waves like mountains.
00:05:17And then it says that in the places where it gives a list of prophets, there's no prophet
00:05:23before Noah.
00:05:26And so, I know Adam can be a prophet, but I'm, so Noah is listed.
00:05:32And I think that it says in the Koran too, that the whole world was covered.
00:05:36Yes, brother, a question for Dr. Zakir Naik.
00:05:44Dr. Zakir, you said that there isn't any mistake in your argument.
00:05:48Excuse me, excuse me.
00:05:49The second question would come from the mic on my right for Dr. Zakir.
00:05:55Okay, you said that Allah reflects light, and he's made of Noor.
00:06:04I didn't really understand that.
00:06:09The brother posed the question, he didn't understand my explanation to the counter-argument
00:06:14of William Campbell regarding Noor and Allah.
00:06:18The Koran says in Surah Noor, chapter 24, verse number 35, that Allah is the light of
00:06:27the heavens and the earth.
00:06:28He's a light.
00:06:29The meaning of light in the Koran, it is reflected light, or borrowed light.
00:06:36So he's asking, does it mean that even Allah has got borrowed light?
00:06:39So the answer is given further if you read in the verse, it says that it's like a parable
00:06:43of a niche.
00:06:44In the niche, there is a lamp.
00:06:45Lamp has a light of its own.
00:06:47That means Allah has light of its own, as well as that light of its own is also being
00:06:52reflected.
00:06:54The light of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is again being reflected by Allah subhanahu wa
00:06:58ta'ala himself.
00:06:59Like a halogen lamp that you see here, it has a tube in between.
00:07:03You can refer to that as a Siraj, or a Wahaj, or a Diya, and the reflector as Muneer or
00:07:11Noor, borrowed light, or reflection of light.
00:07:14And furthermore, but naturally, this light actually doesn't refer to the physical light
00:07:19we're talking about.
00:07:20It is a spiritual light of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but as an answer I've given to
00:07:23Dr. William Campbell, and since I've got five minutes, I would like to utilize it.
00:07:28Dr. William Campbell gave a reply to Noor alayhis salaam.
00:07:31I'm a person who's a Concordist approach with the Bible, and conflict approach with the
00:07:36Quran, because both ways, alhamdulillah, Quran will pass the test.
00:07:40And even if I agree with Dr. William Campbell, and I agree with him, it is right, that it
00:07:44was 15 feet above the highest mountain.
00:07:47But it's mentioned in Genesis, chapter number 7, verse number 19 and 20, that the full world
00:07:52was submerged underwater.
00:07:54And furthermore, archeological evidence shows us today, and the time of Noah's time, if
00:08:00you calculate by genealogy, it comes to in the 21st to 22nd century BC.
00:08:05Archeological evidence shows today that the third dynasty of Babylon, and 11th dynasty
00:08:11of Egypt, were present at the 21st and 22nd century BC, and there was no evidence of flood,
00:08:17and they remained uninterrupted.
00:08:19Therefore archeological evidence shows us that it's impossible that the earth was submerged,
00:08:23the full earth was submerged underwater in the 21st, 22nd century BC.
00:08:29What about the Quran?
00:08:31What about the Quran?
00:08:32Point number one, Quran does not give a date, whether 21st century BC, or 50th century BC,
00:08:39no date.
00:08:40Point number two, nowhere does the Quran say the full world was submerged underwater.
00:08:43It speaks about Noah, and his people.
00:08:48A small group of people, or maybe a large group of people, archeological evidences tell
00:08:53today, and the archeologists say, that we have no objection, it's possible that parts
00:08:57of the world was submerged underwater, but full world, it's not possible.
00:09:01So alhamdulillah, the Quran is matching with the latest discovery in archeology, but the
00:09:06Bible does not.
00:09:07Furthermore, if you read Genesis chapter number six, verse number 15, 16, it speaks about
00:09:14almighty God telling Noah, that build an ark, and it gives the length, 300 cubit in length,
00:09:2050 cubit in breadth, and height 30 cubit.
00:09:24Cubit is one and a half feet, the brother made a mistake, it's one and a half feet,
00:09:28and in New International Version it says, 450 feet in length, and 75 feet in breadth,
00:09:35and approximately 45 feet in height, it's 30 cubit in height.
00:09:39If you measure this, I've done the calculation, it comes to less than 150,000 cubit feet in
00:09:45volume, and area wise, 33,750, and the Bible says there were three flows, ground flow,
00:09:53first story, second story, so multiply by three, you get the answer of 101,250 square
00:09:58feet, that is the area.
00:10:01Imagine a pair of all the species of the world was accommodated in 101,250 square feet, imagine.
00:10:11Is it possible?
00:10:12Millions of species are there in the world?
00:10:14If I tell in this auditorium, one million people came in this auditorium, will you believe?
00:10:20I remember, I think last year, I'd given a talk in Kerala, and there were one million
00:10:25people, that's the biggest gathering I've ever done, Alhamdulillah, by Allah's grace,
00:10:28one million people, I could not see the end, it was not an auditorium, it was a big beach,
00:10:33I couldn't see anyone, only a few people in the front, that's all, few compared to the
00:10:39one million people that were there.
00:10:40If you see on the videocassette, you'll realize how big is one million, somewhat like Arafat,
00:10:44you see two and a half million people in Arafat.
00:10:47In an area of 101,250 square feet, or 150,000 cubic feet, it is impossible, and above that
00:10:56they stayed for 40 days, eating, going for call of nature, if I say one million people
00:11:02came in this auditorium, will you believe?
00:11:04So scientifically, there are several things in which there are gross scientific errors
00:11:09in the Bible.
00:11:10Can we have the next question for Dr. Campbell, from the mic at the rear?
00:11:17Dr. Naik, you said that there is...
00:11:19No, no, excuse me, this question is for Dr. Campbell, so you have to wait...
00:11:23So the next person would like to ask a question for Dr. Campbell.
00:11:26Yes, I'd like to pose this question, or rather, this test to Dr. William Campbell, why don't
00:11:35you attempt the falsification test of the Bible, given in the book of Mark, chapter
00:11:4216, verses 17 and 18, and prove to the audience here, right now, that you are a true Christian
00:11:52believer?
00:11:56Well, I don't agree with Dr. Naik's interpretation, Jesus himself was tempted, and the devil said,
00:12:10well, if you're the son of God, throw yourself off the temple, and Jesus said, you will not
00:12:15tempt the Lord your God, and so if I was to say, oh yes, I'm going to be sure and do a
00:12:21miracle in front of you, I would be tempting God.
00:12:26My friend, Harry Radcliffe, he had promised to go, and so he decided to keep his promise
00:12:32and trust God to do his will.
00:12:35It's a different situation, I will not tempt God.
00:12:43Question for Dr. Naik?
00:12:45Maybe the question in the rear, from the sister?
00:12:48She's for Dr. Naik.
00:12:51Do you have questions for Dr. Naik in the back, ladies?
00:12:55Yes, okay.
00:12:56My question is to Dr. Zakir Naik, the Christians explained the concept of Trinity, scientifically,
00:13:02by giving the example of water, which can be in three states, solid, liquid, and gas,
00:13:06in the form of ice, water, and vapor.
00:13:09Similarly, one God is a triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
00:13:14Is this explanation scientifically correct?
00:13:17Just a comment before I give the answer.
00:13:21We should not tempt God, we should not test God, but here we aren't testing God, we are
00:13:26testing the human being.
00:13:28We should not test God, but here we are testing you, and God promises that any believer who
00:13:33has deadly poison, he will not die, he will be able to speak in foreign tongues.
00:13:37We aren't testing God, we know God is correct.
00:13:39He will see to it that every believer can speak.
00:13:41We are testing you whether you're a believer or not.
00:13:44Now, let me come to the question of the sister, that there are Christians who say that scientifically
00:13:50we can prove the concept of Trinity, like how water can be in three states, solid, liquid,
00:13:55and gas, like ice, water, and vapor, but similarly, God is in three forms, Father, Son, and Holy
00:14:03Ghost.
00:14:04How to reply, and is this scientifically correct?
00:14:08Scientifically, I do agree water can be in three forms, solid, liquid, and gas, ice,
00:14:14water, and vapor, but scientifically we also know that the component of water remains the
00:14:19same, H2O, two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.
00:14:24The components remain the same, the constituent remains the same, the forms keep on changing,
00:14:29there is no problem.
00:14:30Let's check with the concept of Trinity, concept of Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
00:14:35Form, they say form changes, okay, for sake of argument, we agree.
00:14:40Does the component change?
00:14:42God and Holy Ghost is made of spirit, human beings are made of flesh and bones, they aren't
00:14:47the same.
00:14:48Human beings require to eat, God doesn't require to eat to survive, they aren't the same, and
00:14:53this is testified by Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, himself, in the Gospel of Luke,
00:14:58chapter number 24, verse number 36 to 39, he says that behold my hands and feet, handle
00:15:06me and see, for a spirit has no flesh and bones.
00:15:09He says behold my hands and feet, handle me and see, for a spirit has no flesh and bones,
00:15:15and he gave his hand and they saw, and they were overjoyed, and he said that do you have
00:15:21any meat to eat, and they gave him broiled fish and a piece of honeycomb, and he ate,
00:15:26to prove what?
00:15:27That he was God?
00:15:28To prove that he was not God, he ate, and he's flesh and bones, a spirit has got no
00:15:34flesh and bones.
00:15:35This proves that it is scientifically not possible that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
00:15:41Father, Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, Holy Ghost, is Almighty God.
00:15:45And the concept of trinity, the word trinity, doesn't exist anywhere in the Bible.
00:15:52The word trinity is not there in the Bible, but it is there in the Quran.
00:15:56The Quran says in Surah Nisa chapter 4 verse 171, it says don't say trinity, this has stopped,
00:16:04it's better for you.
00:16:05Trinity is also there in Surah Maidah chapter 5, verse number 73 which says, they are doing
00:16:14kufr, they are blaspheming, those who say that Allah is three in one, is a triune God.
00:16:20Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, never said he was God, the concept of trinity doesn't
00:16:25exist in the Bible.
00:16:26The only verse which is closest to the concept of trinity is the first epistle of John, chapter
00:16:31number 5, verse number 7, which says, for there are three that bear record in heaven,
00:16:35the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one.
00:16:39But if you read the Revised Standard Version, revised by Thaidu scholars, Christian scholars
00:16:44of the highest eminence, backed by 50 different corporeal denominations, they say this verse
00:16:50of the Bible, first epistle of John, chapter 5, verse number 7, is an interpolation, is
00:16:56a concoction, is a fabrication, it was thrown out of the Bible.
00:17:00Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, never claimed divinity, there is not a single unequivocal
00:17:04statement in the complete Bible where Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, says I am God or
00:17:09where he says worship me.
00:17:10In fact, if you read the Bible, it is mentioned in the Gospel of John, chapter number 14,
00:17:13verse number 28, he said, my Father is greater than I.
00:17:17Gospel of John, chapter number 10, verse number 29, my Father is greater than all.
00:17:21Gospel of Matthew, chapter number 12, verse number 28, I cast out devils with the Spirit
00:17:26of God.
00:17:27Gospel of Luke, chapter number 11, verse number 20, I with the finger of God cast out devils.
00:17:32Gospel of John, chapter number 5, verse number 30, I can of my own self do nothing.
00:17:42I can of my own self do nothing, as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, for I seek
00:17:47not my will, but the will of my Father.
00:17:50Anyone who says not my will, but God's will, he's a Muslim.
00:17:54Muslim means a person who submits his will to Almighty God.
00:17:57Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, said, not my will, but God's will.
00:18:00He was a Muslim and he was, alhamdulillah, one of the mightiest messengers of God.
00:18:05We believe, we believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention.
00:18:12We believe he gave life to the dead with God's permission.
00:18:14We believe that he healed those born blind and lepers with God's permission.
00:18:18We respect Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, as one of the mightiest messengers of God,
00:18:22but he is not God, and he is not a part of the Trinity, Trinity doesn't exist, Quran
00:18:28says, say he's Allah one and only.
00:18:35Before we have the next question from the mic here, earlier I had announced that the
00:18:39ladies should kindly queue up there, unfortunately they have not queued up there, so we are having
00:18:44a problem of balancing the questions.
00:18:47Okay, what we do, we disregard the labels on the mic, if the ladies want to ask from
00:18:52here, we'll allow them, just balance this in practical necessity, the hall is jam-packed,
00:18:57we understand, we will allow.
00:19:00Now one question for Dr. Campbell from here, and the rare mic will be for people who'd
00:19:09like to ask questions from the gents for Dr. Zakir, similarly for the ladies, the front
00:19:15mic would be for Dr. William Campbell, and the rare mic would be for Dr. Zakir, are the
00:19:20people queued there for Dr. Zakir?
00:19:22Yes, people queued here for Dr. Campbell?
00:19:25Right, I think they have taken their own positions, and changed the positions, the organizers
00:19:30have given, we respect it, because of the rush in the hall, the next question for Dr.
00:19:36Campbell from this mic, thank you, yes brother.
00:19:40Assalamualaikum.
00:19:41Alhamdulillah, tonight's been, praise be to Allah, praise be to the one God of all mankind,
00:19:47tonight's been a very interesting dialogue, and a dialogue at that, talking about a very
00:19:55noble topic for mankind, for all of mankind, and so we have gathered here, as men of humanity,
00:20:03question, question please, no statements, in the name of Allah, the question is this,
00:20:09okay, we've come here together for this event tonight, it should benefit us, and so I'm
00:20:14asking Dr. Campbell, as a Christian, and with your colleagues as well, has this event done
00:20:23its job, has it opened your heart, has it at least opened a glimmer towards looking
00:20:29further into the truth of Islam?
00:20:37Well I think I'll use the last question, to answer yours, Dr. Nikes says there's no place
00:20:50that Jesus says he's God, in Mark 1461, he didn't answer, and again the high priest was
00:21:00questioning him, and saying to him, are you the Christ, the son of the blessed one?
00:21:07In other words, are you the Christ, the son of God?
00:21:11And Jesus said, I am, so he did say I'm the son of God, and he did say he's divine, and
00:21:19the Bible clearly says, I realize he's quoted the verses he wished to quote, Dr. Zeick wished
00:21:26to quote, where Jesus was in his human form, but there's other verses, he says I and the
00:21:32father are one, it says in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the
00:21:37word was God, and God was made flesh and dwelt among us.
00:21:44In Jesus' baptism, the father spoke and said, this is my beloved son, Jesus was there,
00:21:50and the Holy Spirit descended, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit.
00:21:54We didn't make this thing up from our heads, just lift this little thing, now my friend
00:22:01asked the question here, we've learned many things, and I'm always willing to learn, but
00:22:08I still think that the 500 witnesses that saw Jesus after he rose from the dead, have
00:22:13more power with me than Mohammed coming 600 years later as one witness.
00:22:19We'll allow a question for Dr. Zakir from the rear.
00:22:25Yes, sister.
00:22:27Dr. Campbell did first attempt to bring up supposed false facts pertaining to the Quranic
00:22:33views on the universe, and you did refute these accusations, however, it was not addressed
00:22:40what the Bible says about the shape of the earth and its other aspects.
00:22:44Sister asked the question that I did not address regarding what the Bible says about the shape
00:22:54of the earth due to lack of time, I can point out another 100 points, lack of time, anyhow,
00:22:59sister wants to know what does the Bible speak about the shape of the earth, it's mentioned
00:23:04in the Bible, in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter number 4, verse number 8, it says the same
00:23:10reference which Dr. William Campbell used about tempting, the devil took him, that Jesus
00:23:15Christ peace be upon him, to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms
00:23:20of the earth and its glory, Gospel of Luke, chapter number 4, verse number 5, the devil
00:23:26took him to a high mountain and showed him the glory of all the kingdoms of the world,
00:23:32now, even if you go to the tallest mountain, the highest mountain in the world, that's
00:23:37Mount Everest, and supposingly, you have a very good vision and can see for thousands
00:23:42of miles together, yet, you will not be able to see all the kingdoms of the world because
00:23:48today we know the earth is spherical, you will not be able to see the kingdom of the
00:23:52opposite side of the world, the only way you will be able to see if the earth was flat,
00:23:57that's the description what the Bible gives, the earth is flat, furthermore, the same description
00:24:01is repeated in the book of Daniels, chapter number 4, verse number 10 and 11, it says
00:24:06in the dream that the tree grew up into the heaven, and there when the tree grew up into
00:24:10the heaven, it grew up so much that everyone from all the ends of the earth, they could
00:24:17see the tree, this is only possible if the shape of the earth was flat, if a tree is
00:24:22very long and the shape of the earth was flat, it's possible, today, it's a universal fact
00:24:28that the world is spherical, you will never be able to see the tree, however much long
00:24:32it is, from the opposite side of the spherical shape of the earth, furthermore, if you read,
00:24:38it's mentioned in the first chronicles, chapter number 16, verse number 30, that the earth
00:24:45does not move, the same is repeated in the book of Psalms, chapter number 93, verse number
00:24:491, that almighty God, he has stabilized the earth, that means the earth does not move,
00:24:55and in the new international version, it says that God has established and stopped
00:24:59the movement of the earth, as though, the earth is, one minute left or one minute, one
00:25:04minute left, that's why they're asking you to wait for one minute, regarding Dr. William
00:25:12Campbell, he said that Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, said in the Bible in several
00:25:15places that he was God, you can refer to my video cassette, concept of God in major religion,
00:25:21which gives all the references and the answers, I'll only give you the references of what
00:25:24he quoted, and my father of one is from John, chapter number 10, verse number 30, and in
00:25:30the beginning was the word, is from John, chapter number 1, verse number 1, you go to
00:25:35the context and you'll come to know, Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, never claimed divinity,
00:25:39you can take my cassette, which is available in the foyer outside, concept of God in major
00:25:42religion, and similarities between Islam and Christianity, which gives the details that
00:25:46Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, never claimed divinity, time, thank you, the next question
00:25:50from the lady in the front for Dr. William. You mentioned the test where a true believer
00:25:57can drink poison and survive because of their faith, what about Rasputin, who was poisoned
00:26:03with enough cyanide to kill 16 people, and when that didn't kill him, he died of blood
00:26:08loss, he was not a good Christian, he had orgies, how do you explain this? Where only
00:26:14a good Christian can drink this poison and live, how do you explain that? Well, I don't
00:26:20feel I have to explain it, I mean, if Rasputin wasn't a Christian, what happened to him has
00:26:25no basis for what happened in the Bible. I said before, God didn't intend for us to line
00:26:32up here and start taking poison, and see whether he's the true God. Oh, sorry. If we are not
00:26:40to test God, that was given, that said that these things will happen, an example would
00:26:49be Paul, he went to, when he was in shipwrecked, and I think it's Crete, but I have the wrong
00:26:55place in my mind, and he landed, and so he was throwing wood in the fire, and a snake
00:27:01bit him, nothing happened to him, but he wasn't trying to test God, he was trying to throw
00:27:06wood in the fire, it's a different situation. No comment, please, thank you. The next question
00:27:14from the rare for Dr. Zakir. Excuse me. Yes, brother. Excuse me, sir. Sorry, carry on.
00:27:20I'd just like to say about the circle of the earth, in Isaiah 40, 22, it says, he, God,
00:27:26sits enthroned above the circle of the earth. Thank you, in the back for Dr. Zakir. Yes,
00:27:31for Dr. Zakir. Dr. Zakir, you said there isn't any mistake in Quran. I see more than 20 mistake
00:27:41in Arabic grammar, and I will tell you some of them. He said, in Baqara and Hajj,
00:28:01which is right, As-Sabirun or As-Sabirin? Number one. Number two. Brother, one question
00:28:10at a time, please. Yes, but the same thing, he said in Surah Taha, 63, mistake. Can you
00:28:18explain that? And there is more than that mistake. Brother, we'll allow you only the
00:28:32first part of the question. The second part we'll not allow because we have stated we'll
00:28:36allow one question at a time so others get a chance to. Okay. The brother has asked a
00:28:41very good question. I would like to be more concordance and agreeing. He has mentioned
00:28:46all 20 grammatical points, and the book is referring to Abdul Fadi. Abdul Fadi, correct?
00:28:51Is the Quran infallible? I can see some things. Yeah. Alhamdulillah, my sight is good. I will
00:29:04answer all 20 together because I've read the book. I'll answer all 20, Inshallah. Inshallah.
00:29:12Point number one, brother. Point number one. Point number one to be noted that all Arabic
00:29:18grammar is taken from the Quran. Quran was the highest Arabic book, a book which has
00:29:25the maximum level of highest literature. All the Arabic grammar has been derived from the
00:29:30Quran. Quran is the textbook of grammar. Since Quran is the textbook of grammar and all the
00:29:37grammar is derived from the Quran, the Quran can never have a mistake. Point number one.
00:29:43Point number two. Point number two. Point number two. It is like taking a ruler, and
00:29:51the ruler has a measurement, and you're saying the measurement is wrong. It sounds illogical.
00:29:58Point number two. In the different tribes of Arabia, and you know Arabic, and Dr. William
00:30:04Campbell also will agree with me, in different Arabic tribes, the grammar keeps on changing.
00:30:09In some Arabic tribe, the word is feminine. The same word is even masculine in the other
00:30:14tribes of Arabia. In different tribes, the grammar keeps on changing. Even the gender
00:30:19keeps on changing. So will you check Quran with that faulty grammar? No. And furthermore,
00:30:26the eloquence of Quran is so high. It's so high, it is far superior. And you know there
00:30:33are various books on the internet you go. Twelve grammatical mistake. Twenty-one grammatical
00:30:37mistake. Abdul Fadi, twenty grammatical mistake. Do you think the Christian people took out
00:30:42these mistakes? Who took out these mistakes? Do you know who took out? The Muslims. The
00:30:48Muslim scholars, like Zamakhshari, what they did, that the Quran grammar is so high that
00:30:54it goes against the conventional use of the Arabic. The Quran grammar is so high, to prove
00:31:00the Quran grammar was high, they gave examples. And I'll give you a couple of examples which
00:31:04will answer all these twenty questions. They give the example, like we read in the Quran,
00:31:09it says that the people of Lut, alayhi salam, they rejected all the messengers. They rejected
00:31:15the messengers it's mentioned. Dr. William Campbell said, the people of Noah, they rejected
00:31:20the messengers. We know from history that there was only one messenger sent to them.
00:31:25So it has a grammatical mistake. Quran should have said, the people rejected the messenger,
00:31:29not messengers. I agree with you. With layman grammar like how you and I know, it may be
00:31:36a mistake. But if you read the books written by Arabs, what is the beauty of the Quran?
00:31:42The beauty of the Quran is, why does the Quran refer to messengers instead of messenger?
00:31:47You know why? Because we know that the basic message of all the messengers was same. That
00:31:52there is one God. About Tawhid. About Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. By mentioning the people
00:31:57of Lut, alayhi salam, the people of Noah rejected the messenger. It says by rejecting Lut, alayhi
00:32:02salam, they are indirectly rejecting all the messengers. See the beauty, see the eloquence,
00:32:13alhamdulillah. You may think it's a mistake. It's not a mistake. Similarly, people like
00:32:19Anuj Suraj says that, Quran says, kun faya kun, be and it is. It should be kun faqana,
00:32:24be and it was. Again, past tense is kun faqana in Arabic. It's not kun faya kun. But the
00:32:29kun faya kun is more superior. It says, Allah, it was, it is, and can do. Past, present and
00:32:36future. Thank you, Dr. Naik. May we have the next question from the brother in the front
00:32:44for Dr. William Campbell. Yes, Dr. Campbell, this is a very sincere question to learn a
00:32:50little more about Christianity. I want to ask that Jesus' ministry was only for three
00:32:57years after he was baptized by John the Baptist. So Jesus, the second most powerful person
00:33:04after God, the son of God, what are his contribution in his early life from first, from one year
00:33:11to say 27 or 28 years? What are his significant contributions? This is, excuse me, Dr. Campbell,
00:33:19this is not the topic for tonight. We have, yeah, you can go ahead. In the beginning of
00:33:26his presentation, Dr. Campbell mentioned Zulqarnain from the chapter 18 of Quran, the cave, and
00:33:35he mentioned that Zulqarnain is Alexander the Great. Can you prove me how you came to
00:33:39that Zulqarnain is Alexander the Great? I only read it in the commentary of Yusuf Ali.
00:33:47But regardless of whether it's Alexander the Great or who it is, the sun doesn't set in
00:33:54a murky marsh, and that's what the verse says. Okay, thank you. Yes, sister, the question
00:34:02for Dr. Zakir. I don't know the exact verse, but when the Bible says, for as Jonah was
00:34:09three days and three nights in the belly of the fish, so shall the son of man be for three
00:34:15days and three nights the heart of the earth. Did Jesus, peace be upon him, scientifically
00:34:21fulfill the sign of Jonah? What the sister is referring to is the verse of the Bible,
00:34:25Gospel of Matthew, chapter number 12, verse number 38 and 40. When people ask Jesus Christ,
00:34:30peace be upon him, show me a sign, show me a miracle. Jesus Christ, peace be upon him,
00:34:34says, you evil and adulterous generation, seek it after a sign. No sign shall be given
00:34:38to you but the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly
00:34:44of the whale, so shall the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of
00:34:48the earth. Sign of Jonah. Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, puts all his eggs in one basket.
00:34:55And if you go to the sign of Jonah, the book of Jonah is less than two pages, and most
00:34:59of us know. And if you analyze that Jonah was three days and three nights, but Jesus
00:35:05Christ, peace be upon him, we know from the Gospels that he was put on the cross, the
00:35:09Alleged Crucifixion. Alleged. By late evening, he was brought down from the cross and put
00:35:14in the sepulchre. And on Sunday morning, if you see, the stone is moved away and the sepulchre
00:35:20is completely empty. So Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, is in the tomb on Friday night.
00:35:25Friday night he was in the tomb. Friday night. He was there on Saturday morning, one day,
00:35:31one night, one day. And he was there Saturday night. So two night and one day. Two night
00:35:36and Sunday morning, the tomb was empty. So Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, was there
00:35:39for two nights and one day. It's not three days and three nights. Dr. William Campbell
00:35:43gives a reply in his book that, you know, part of the day can be counted as one day.
00:35:49And if a patient comes to me who's sick on Saturday night, on Monday morning, and if
00:35:54I ask him, how long are you sick for? He will say three days. I agree with you. Concordance
00:35:59approach. I agree. I'm very generous. You say part of the day is full day. I agree with
00:36:04you. So Saturday night, part of the day, one day. Sunday, part of the day, full day,
00:36:09one good. Monday, part of the day, full day, no problem. If patient says three days, no
00:36:14objection. But no patient will ever say three days and three nights. I challenge. I have,
00:36:21alhamdulillah, met various patients. I have not come across a single patient, including
00:36:25Christian missionaries, who have ever told to me who was sick in the night, the day before
00:36:30yesterday, saying, I'm sick for three days, three nights. So Jesus Christ, he didn't say
00:36:35three days. Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, says three days and three nights. So it is
00:36:41a mathematical error. Scientifically, Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, didn't prove. And
00:36:45furthermore, the prophecy says, as Jonah was, so shall the son of man be. Jonah was how?
00:36:51How was Jonah in the belly of the whale, belly of the fish? Dead or alive? Alive. When he
00:36:56was thrown overboard, he was alive. In the belly of the whale, he goes around the ocean,
00:37:02dead or alive? Alive. He prays to almighty God, dead or alive? Alive. He vomited out
00:37:07on the seashore, dead or alive? Alive, alive, alive, alive. When I ask the Christians, how
00:37:13was Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, in the sepulcher, in the tomb, dead or alive? They
00:37:18tell me dead. Alive? Alhamdulillah. Is it a Christian? If he's alive, alhamdulillah,
00:37:25he was not crucified. If he's dead, he hasn't fulfilled the sign. You can refer to my video
00:37:29cassette, was Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, really crucified? It proved that Jesus
00:37:33Christ, peace be upon him, was not crucified. As the Quran says in Surah Nisa, chapter 4,
00:37:37verse 157, they didn't kill him, neither did they crucify him. It was only made to appear
00:37:43so. Thank you, Dr. Naik. Question for Dr. William.
00:37:50Dr. Campbell, since you are a medical doctor, could you please explain scientifically the
00:37:55various medical aspects that in the Bible regarding, because you didn't answer them
00:37:59in your rebuttal, for example, blood use as a disinfectant, bitter water test for adultery,
00:38:04and most importantly, that the woman is unclean for double the period when she gives birth
00:38:09to a daughter than as compared to a son?
00:38:24Thank you for the question, and I'll get to it. But Dr. Naik keeps getting the questions
00:38:29that should be come to the Christian. It says that on the next day, when it was one after
00:38:38the preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered together with Pilate and
00:38:43said, Sir, we remember that when he was still alive, that deceiver said, after three days,
00:38:48I'm to rise again. Therefore, give orders for the grave to be made secure until the
00:38:54third day. So they're using these words interchangeably. As far as I'm concerned, all of these words,
00:39:02the third day, after the third day, equal what happened with Jesus in the grave. The
00:39:09other thing is, and then there's resurrection. There is one other thing. When Jesus was arrested
00:39:15on Thursday night, please be quiet. This is not going to work like this. Please be patient.
00:39:20Thursday, and when, and Thursday after when he was arrested, he said, my time, my hour
00:39:26has come. And so I count that that's three days and three nights. Now you've asked me
00:39:32about these places in the Bible. I believe the Bible was written by God, and I believe
00:39:38that God put them in there. So it's not up to me to explain what God said, but I believe
00:39:45that God put those things in his Bible.
00:39:48Now we will have the last question on the mic from the brother at the back for Dr. Zakir.
00:39:57Then we start the questions on index cards. That's the last question as per our time limitations,
00:40:05please.
00:40:06Okay.
00:40:07For Dr. Zakir.
00:40:08Salaam alaikum. My name is Aslam Rauf, and I'm a student studying biology right now.
00:40:15And my teacher is teaching me evolution now. And I was wondering about the Islamic answer
00:40:20to evolution right now. If you could explain briefly what Islam says on the topic of evolution
00:40:28and creationism.
00:40:29The brother asked the question. Just since Dr. William Campbell is taking the liberty
00:40:34to answer, even I'll take the liberty. Nowhere in the Quran is the name of Alexander mentioned.
00:40:39It says Dulkarnain, not Alexander. If some commentator made a mistake, it's a mistake
00:40:44in the commentary. Men have made the mistake, not the word of God. Regarding the Bible saying
00:40:51that the world in Isaiah is a circle, no problem. It says circle, not spherical. So one place
00:40:57Bible says flat, one place it says circle. If you agree with both the verses, it becomes
00:41:02like a disc. See, does it look like the earth? It is circle and it is flat. This is not the
00:41:11earth.
00:41:16Regarding biology in the Quran, and regarding evolution, two questions the brother asked.
00:41:20I don't know whether I can answer both or not. I don't mind. One, which one? First one
00:41:23or second one? Biology or evolution? Evolution will be good. Evolution will be good. Are
00:41:27you choosing or he's choosing? Because he had the question for evolution. I think it
00:41:31will be good. Two questions. Biology first, then evolution. If you give me 10 minutes,
00:41:35I'll answer both.
00:41:36Okay, fine. I agree with the chairperson, Mr. Samuel Noman. I'll answer on evolution.
00:41:45The exact answer you can refer to my video cassette, Quran and Modern Science. Regarding
00:41:49when you talk about evolution, you start thinking about Darwin's theory. And Darwin went on
00:41:53a ship, HMS Bugle, to an island by the name of Calatropis, and he saw birds pecking at
00:41:59niches. Based on that observation that the beaks of the birds became long and short,
00:42:04he propounded the natural selection. But he wrote a letter to his friend, Thomas Thompson,
00:42:09in 19th century. He said that, I do not have proof to propound my natural selection, but
00:42:14because it helps me in classification of embryology, of rudimentary organs, I have put forth this.
00:42:21Darwin's theory is not a fact at all. It is only a theory. And I made it very clear in
00:42:26the beginning of my talk, Quran can go against theories. Because theories take you turns.
00:42:32But Quran will not go against any established fact. And in our school, we are taught about
00:42:38Darwin's theory as though it's a fact. It's not a fact. There is no scientific proof at
00:42:43all. There are missing links. Therefore, if someone has to insult his friend, his colleague,
00:42:48he will say, if you were present at Darwin's time, Darwin's theory would have been proved
00:42:52right. Insinuating he looks like an ape. There are missing links to Darwin's theory. And
00:43:00I know about the four fossils that are present, the hominoids, the Lucy, Australopithecus,
00:43:05which is guide, the Homo erectus, Neanderthal man, Cro-Magnon. For details, refer to my
00:43:10video cassette. By molecular biology, according to Hanses Craig, he said it is impossible
00:43:14that we can be evolved from apes by DNA coding. It's impossible. You can refer to my video
00:43:19cassette. It gives the detail. Some parts, I've got no objection regarding biology. Quran
00:43:24says in Surah Anbiya, Chapter 21, verse number 30, that we have created every living thing
00:43:33from water. Will you not then believe? Today, we know that every living creature, the basic
00:43:38substance, the cell, contains cytoplasm, which has about 90% water. Every living creature
00:43:44in the world has approximately 50 to 90% water. Imagine, in the deserts of Arabia, who could
00:43:51have imagined that everything is made of water? Quran says that 1,400 years ago.
00:43:55Time, Dr. Naik. Please, thank you. Thank you very much.
00:44:03We will now start the questions on slips of paper. We would have this box for Dr. William
00:44:10Campbell, this box for Dr. Zakir Naik. We turn the boxes, their names toward themselves
00:44:15so they don't see through while you all can see. They pick up the questions, looking away
00:44:19from the box, and they answer it themselves. Whatever they choose, they have to answer.
00:44:25The first question for Dr. William Campbell. And the next question for Dr. Zakir. They
00:44:31can pick up the questions in advance so that we don't waste time in the reading the questions.
00:44:35So one-one questions, they can start. And we'll allow Dr. William to read for some time
00:44:39if he wants to, the first question.
00:44:44I will read the question, but first I just want to say about everything made of water.
00:44:49It's perfectly obvious. Every time you smash a bug, it's made of water. Every living thing
00:44:54is made of water, but it's observable. It's not a miracle.
00:44:58Okay, Dr. Campbell. If you cannot answer the contradictions in Genesis regarding the creation,
00:45:05don't you think that proves that the Bible is unscientific and therefore not from God?
00:45:12I admit that I have some problems with this, but I also have all the fulfilled prophecies.
00:45:17And that's very important to me. And it says that Jesus is the cornerstone and built on
00:45:26it. He's built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And so the prophets prophesied
00:45:32and the apostles wrote down when God fulfilled the prophecy.
00:45:36I know that doesn't answer your question, but it, my faith is in Christ for as my savior.
00:45:44Okay, thank you. Dr. Naik.
00:45:50Text and translation are two different words, giving two different meanings in the Bible.
00:45:55In English, a text or a translation can scientifically text and translation be proved to be the one
00:46:00and the same. Did God reveal his messages upon Moses and Jesus, peace be upon him, upon
00:46:05them in English? That's a very good question. Can the text and translation be the same?
00:46:10No. A text and translation cannot be exactly the same, can come close to it. And according
00:46:16to Maulana Abdul Majid Daryabadi, he said, the most difficult book in the world to translate
00:46:21is the glorious Quran. Because the language of the Quran is so eloquent, it is so superior,
00:46:27so noble. And one word in Arabic has got several meanings. Therefore, to translate the Quran
00:46:34is the most difficult. It is not the same. And if there's a mistake in the translation,
00:46:39it is a human handiwork. The human being who's translating, he's to blame, not almighty God.
00:46:45Regarding, was Bible revealed in English? No. Bible wasn't revealed in English. It's
00:46:52Old Testament in Hebrew, New Testament in Greek. Though Jesus Christ, peace be upon
00:46:57him, spoke Hebrew, but the original manuscript that you have, it's in Greek. The Old Testament,
00:47:03the original Hebrew is not available. Do you know that? The Hebrew translation of the Old
00:47:07Testament is from the Greek. So even the original Old Testament, which is in Hebrew, is not
00:47:12present in Hebrew. So you have a double problem. No wonder you have scribal errors, etc. But
00:47:17the Quran, Alhamdulillah, the original Arabic is maintained. It has been, Alhamdulillah,
00:47:23scientifically you can prove it is the same. And regarding, were revelations revealed to
00:47:28Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, and to Moses, peace be upon him, I said in my earlier answer
00:47:35as well as my talk, that we believe, the Quran says, in Surah Raj, chapter 13, verse 38,
00:47:40that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has sent down several revelations. By name, only four are
00:47:45mentioned. The Torah, the Zabur, the Injil, and the Quran. The Torah is the Wahi which
00:47:49was given to Moses, peace be upon him. The Zabur is the revelation, the Wahi, which was
00:47:54given to David, peace be upon him. Injil is the Wahi, the revelation which was given to
00:47:57Jesus, peace be upon him. And Quran is the last and final revelation, which was given
00:48:01to the last and final messenger, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
00:48:03Time, Dr. Nayak, thank you so much.
00:48:05The present Bible is not the Injil which we believe in, which was revealed to Jesus Christ,
00:48:08peace be upon him.
00:48:09Thank you, sir. Dr. Campbell?
00:48:10May we have one more?
00:48:17But the present Injil is the one there's always been. We have, we have texts, 75% of the texts
00:48:26from 180 AD. That's 100 years after John wrote. He was dead, he was alive and wrote.
00:48:35You have people alive at that point who knew, who their, their, their grandparents believed
00:48:42through John. There's good evidence and good text. The Bible is valid history. Now the
00:48:49question, with the probability you presented, it is a great calculation. Thank you. But
00:48:56in the matter of, of, of God, it is completely inferior. God is all powerful and can choose
00:49:08who he likes, of course, no matter rich or poor or any other thing. So how then does
00:49:14your probability fit in? Jesus was poor. He was chosen. He said, the son of man has nowhere
00:49:24to lay his head. I'm not sure about this. I don't see how the calculation is talking
00:49:29about that. Calculation was how many people could fill, fulfill all those prophecies.
00:49:36I hope that that's been helpful. Thank you.
00:49:40Thank you, Dr. Knight. Go ahead, please. Go ahead. Thank you.
00:49:47To an effort to prove, in an effort to prove, the Quran is so heavily agreeable to modern
00:49:53science. What happens if modern science is wrong? Does the Quran always change to reflect
00:49:58the changes in science? That's a very good question. It's a very important question and
00:50:03the Muslims should be very careful while being compatible with the Quran, modern science.
00:50:09Therefore I said in the beginning of my talk, I will only be speaking about those scientific
00:50:14facts which have been established. And a scientific fact which has been established,
00:50:19for example, the Earth is spherical. It can never go wrong. Established science can never
00:50:24take U-turns. But unestablished science, like hypotheses and theories, can take U-turns.
00:50:31I know Muslim scholars who have tried to prove Darwin's theory from the Quran. Nonsense.
00:50:36So therefore we should not go overboard and try and prove everything of modern science.
00:50:40We have to be careful to check up whether it's established or unestablished. If it's
00:50:45established, alhamdulillah, with scientific proof, the Quran will never go against it.
00:50:50If it's a hypothesis, it may be right, it may be wrong. Like Big Bang Theory. It was
00:50:55a hypothesis earlier. Earlier it was a hypothesis. Today, after solid proof about the celestial
00:51:01matter, according to Stephen Hawking, et cetera, it's a fact. So Big Bang Theory, today is
00:51:06a fact. Yesterday it was a hypothesis. Once it becomes a fact, I use it. You know there
00:51:11are hypotheses saying that human beings have been created from a single pair of genes,
00:51:15Adam and Eve. I don't use it. Because science has established, it goes along with the Quran.
00:51:22It goes along with the Quran that we have been evolved from one pair, Adam and Eve,
00:51:25peace be upon them. But I don't use it because that is not an established fact. So therefore,
00:51:30while bringing a correlation between Quran and science, et cetera, see to it that you use only
00:51:36those scientific facts which have been established and not hypotheses because Quran is far superior
00:51:42to modern science. I'm not trying to prove the Quran to be the word of God with the help of
00:51:46science. No, not at all. What I'm trying to do, for us Muslims, Quran is the ultimate criteria.
00:51:53For the atheists and for the non-Muslims maybe, science may be the ultimate criteria. What I'm
00:52:00doing, I'm using the criteria, the yajtik of the atheist and comparing with the yajtik of the
00:52:06Muslim, the Quran. I'm not trying to prove the Quran to be the word of God with the help of
00:52:12science. What I'm trying to do, when I bring a compatibility and I show the superiority of Quran
00:52:17that what your science has told us yesterday, Quran has told us 1400 years ago, I'm trying to
00:52:23prove that our yajtik, the Muslim yajtik, the Quran, is far superior to your yajtik, the science.
00:52:30Therefore, you should believe in Quran, which is far superior. Hope that answers the question.
00:52:35Thank you, Dr. Ryan.
00:52:37Yes, Dr. Campbell.
00:52:38This is the last, excuse me.
00:52:40Last two questions for the speaker. We'd ask the audience to just bear for us for a few minutes
00:52:45more. We have the last question on the slip for Dr. Campbell, followed by one last question for
00:52:50Dr. Zakir, and we'll ask you to please wait till the end.
00:53:07It's the same question as the last one, really. Dr. Campbell agreed to Dr. Naik that the errors
00:53:13he showed are not wrong and that he can't answer them. So does this mean that Dr. Campbell agrees
00:53:20that the Bible has errors? So it's not the word of God. There are things in the Bible that I can't
00:53:26explain, that I don't have an answer for now. And I'm willing to wait until I see whether an answer
00:53:35comes. There's many places where archaeological things have proved that the Bible is true,
00:53:40talking about towns and who was king and things like that. And I think there's great proof that
00:53:47the Bible is valid in good history.
00:53:52Thank you, Dr. Campbell.
00:53:58The question is, are there any more mathematical contradictions
00:54:03in the Bible? What is Bible or Islam? Sorry. Are there any more mathematical contradiction
00:54:08in Islam? Are there any more? Is it Bible or Islam? I don't know. I'll answer both.
00:54:17Is there any more? It should be Bible because I spoke about contradiction.
00:54:21Anyway, regarding Islam, the Quran says in Surah Nisa chapter 4, verse number 82.
00:54:30Do they not consider the Quran with care? Had it been from anyone besides Allah,
00:54:33there would have been many contradictions. There is not a single. Regarding more contradictions
00:54:39in the Bible, five minutes will be insufficient. Even if they give me five days, it's difficult.
00:54:45Anyway, I'll just mention a few. It's mentioned in the second Kings chapter number 8,
00:54:50verse number 26. It says that Ahaziah, he was 22 years old when he began to reign.
00:54:57Second Chronicles chapter number 22, verse number 2 says that he was 42 years old when he began to
00:55:03reign. Was he 22 years old or was he 42 years old? Mathematical contradiction. Furthermore,
00:55:10in second Chronicles chapter number 21, verse number 20, it says that Joram, the father of
00:55:16Ahaziah, he reigned at the age of 32 and he reigned for eight years and he died at the age of 40.
00:55:24Immediately Ahaziah became the next ruler at the age of 42. Father died at the age of 40.
00:55:32Immediately son takes over who's at the age of 42. How can a son be two years older than the father?
00:55:40Believe me, even in Hollywood film, you will not be able to produce it.
00:55:52In Hollywood film, you can produce a unicorn, which I mentioned in my talk. Unicorn, you can
00:55:56have cockroaches, which the Bible speaks about, cockroaches and dragons and serpents. But in
00:56:02Hollywood, you cannot even show a son being two years older than the father. It cannot even be a
00:56:08miracle. Even in miracle, it's not possible. Impossible. In miracle, you can have a person
00:56:13being born of a virgin birth, but in miracle, you can't have a son being older than the father by
00:56:19two years. Further, if you read, it's mentioned in the Bible in second Samuels chapter number 24,
00:56:25verse number nine, that the people that were involved in the battlefield, it gives a list
00:56:31of these people in second Samuels chapter 24, verse number nine, and it says that people that
00:56:37took part, 800,000 of the men of Israel took part and 500,000 of the men of Judah.
00:56:45Same, if you see other places, first chronicle, chapter 21, verse number five, it says that
00:56:511,100,000 people took part in the battlefield from the men of Israel and 10,460 men took part
00:57:01of Judah. Was it 800,000 people who took part from the men of Israel or was it 1,100,000?
00:57:09Was it 500,000 people of Judah that took part or 10,460? A clear-cut contradiction. Furthermore,
00:57:17it's mentioned in the Bible in second Samuels chapter number six, verse number 23, that Michelle,
00:57:26the daughter of Saul, she had no sons. Second Samuels chapter 21, verse number eight, Michelle,
00:57:32the daughter of Saul, had five sons. One place it says no children, no son, no daughter, other place,
00:57:40five sons. Furthermore, if you read, it's mentioned in Gospel of Matthew chapter number one,
00:57:47verse number 16, it says about the genealogy of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, as well as Luke
00:57:53chapter number three, verse number 23, and it says that Jesus' father, that Joseph, his father
00:58:00was Jacob in Matthew chapter one, verse 16. And Luke chapter three, verse number 23, Jesus' father
00:58:06Joseph, his father was Haley. Did Jesus' father Joseph have two fathers? What do you call a person
00:58:12who has two fathers? Or was it Haley or was it Jacob? Thank you. Thank you very much.
00:58:19Can we, can we have you bear with us for two minutes? We have the renowned international
00:58:30Islamic scholar amongst us, Dr. Jamal Badawi, and on behalf of the Islamic Research Foundation,
00:58:38we feel it an honor if he would take the pleasure of inaugurating or releasing the book just written
00:58:48by Dr. Zakir Naik, The Quran and Modern Science, Compatible or Incompatible.
00:58:58Dr. Jamal Badawi to release the book, which has just recently been published and printed
00:59:06a few days back and being released here in Chicago on this appropriate occasion.
00:59:12And I think there is no more fitting way as a gesture of friendship
00:59:17than to ask Dr. Zakir to give it to Dr. Campbell by himself.
00:59:41As we have a very limited number of these copies available, so we request only the non-Muslim guests
00:59:48who have come here to kindly take a complimentary copy of the book as they leave the auditorium
00:59:54if they are interested. It would be a pleasure. May I call upon Dr. Sabeel Ahmed to present the vote of thanks.
01:00:03Again on behalf of Islamic Circle of North America, I would really thank all of you for your patience
01:00:09and all our distinguished guests over here for giving us a very good performance for all of us.
01:00:15Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdik wa shahadu an la ilaha illa anta wa nastaghfiruka wa natubu ilahi.
01:00:20Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
