00:00In order to improve the response to calamities, the government upgraded the GeoRisk PH.

00:07More than 100 LGUs and national government agencies were taught how to use it.

00:29a platform that the government has created for calamities.

00:37such as data from PBOX, Mines and Geosciences Bureau, Pagasa, and other agencies.

00:43In the first GeoRisk PH Convention,

00:46less than 100 LGUs from different parts of the country

00:50were taught and used by several national government agencies.

00:55According to GeoRisk PH Project Leader Mabi Kahulugan,

01:01such as typhoons that cause floods and landslides.

01:51such as the placement of evacuation centers.

01:54For now, we are really focusing on long-term planning.

01:59For example, land use planning should be linked to those plans,
