00:00For a faster delivery of aid, the Production Hub also added the Department of Social Welfare and Development to Central Luzon for a faster repacking of relief goods.

00:24the Department of Social Welfare and Development is looking at their strategies for disaster response and preparedness.

00:34This is what DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Lumlao said in 10 news reports of the Agency.

00:42Aside from the Production Hub, the Family Food Packs in Pasay and Cebu also built another one in Central Luzon.

00:51The maximum daily output of the Production Hub is 15,000.

00:57SAS mentioned earlier that we have a partnership with the Dole Tupad Program.

01:02We also have additional manpower in our Production Hub.

01:08Volunteers from private organizations and uniformed personnel will also be added to repack the Family Food Packs,

01:17so that their daily output can be increased.

01:21We are really adding our stockpiles as a response and preparation.

01:28As of November 14, more than 18,000 Family Food Packs were distributed by DSWD in Region 1, 2, 3, 5, and Cordillera,

01:41Administrative Region, or CAR, in Baguio, Nica, and Ophel.

01:46More than 2,000 were distributed for non-food items and 40,000 pesos.

01:52Currently, assistance to individuals in crisis situations, or AICS, is being distributed.

01:59DSWD also said that mobile command centers have been dispatched to areas affected by the typhoon Ophel and Pepito

02:09so that there is a line of communication after the typhoon.

02:14One of the areas affected by the typhoon is the communication lines.

02:18That's why it has been dispatched to different regions so that it could immediately gather information

02:26that will inform the Central Office to properly plan and to properly dispatch additional assistance.

02:34The disaster response and preparedness of the agency will be faster

02:39because the Department of Budget has already approved its quick response fund.

03:09According to the announcement of the DBM, the quick response fund for the DSWD was approved for P875 million pesos.

03:17The DSWD assured that it will be used for those affected by the typhoon in the country.
