00:00For the first time, the Philippines will host the International Conference on Women, Peace, and Security
00:08where it will be attended by leaders from more than 40 countries.
00:14According to the Department of Budget and Management Secretary Amena Pangandaman,
00:21the country will show the importance of the role of women in peace building and efforts globally.
00:32In addition, the second conference will be attended by the United Nations Resolution No. 1325
00:41where the responsibility and partnership of the women's sector in terms of peace
00:50will be explained.
00:52It has been possible for the country to have a partnership here with the help of the fund,
00:59not only from the government, but also from their development partners in the private sector.
01:06Meanwhile, the International Conference on Peace, Women, and Security will last from October 28 to 30 this year.
