00:00I just came back from a family weekend break and whilst away I got to play table
00:18tennis at our hotel with some friends and my sons. So when I got back I thought
00:23what better time to dig this game back out and play it again. Last time I played
00:29this was on my quest 2 back in January 2023 and I sucked. So I was actually
00:37looking forward to having a go on my quest 3 and let me tell you a lot has
00:43changed in this game over the last 18 months. There are so many great
00:48improvements. There was basically only one menu before which gave you the AI
00:54difficulty setting and the choice of which setting to play in. Fast forward a
00:59year and a half and now there are so many options to pick from like training
01:04options to help you improve your game such as the ball machine, adjust the
01:10speed, spin and directions at which this will fire at you. Then there's serve
01:15practice which is pretty self-explanatory. Next we have the wall
01:20where the table is bent in half and you can work on your reflexes. Then there's
01:26quadrants. This is used to practice your striking accuracy and then there's free
01:32practice and even Pierre Pong. Now the differences that I notice when stepping
01:38up the levels of the AIs is mainly their serving. On the first two or three levels
01:44their serves are manageable but from level four onwards they start doing some
01:49fancy stuff. The levels you pick from low to highest are bronze, silver, gold, pro,
01:57elite and finally legendary. Through all these great changes and improvements I
02:03really do hope in future updates they will work on bringing us more characters
02:08to play against and even introduce some cup leagues to compete in. The menus
02:14offer room positioning, graphics adjusting, audio setting, avatar changes
02:20and language settings. There is also a multiplayer menu but I didn't take a
02:26look at this as I'm completely rubbish at ping-pong so I didn't want to
02:30embarrass myself. So the main thing I don't like about this game is that you
02:35actually have to pay money to buy new paddles instead of an unlock system. You
02:41can change the colours of the ping-pong balls and the tables and then save them
02:46so you can choose them from the menu. There's a choice of three venues to play
02:51in and then a further three than a mixed reality, half mixed and fully mixed and
02:57then there's the one Japanese background that you can purchase for a few dollars.
03:02There's currently only one setting which is Japan. It looks great but I wish you
03:09could change the table as I found it being a grey table it's a little tough
03:14to play on. So on that I'm going to score 11 table tennis a 37 out of 40. You can
