00:00Now I wasn't the biggest fan of the Mario Kart series, not my type of game, but I was
00:17told that this game is the closest you will get to it on the quest and let me tell you
00:22this game is a lot of fun. There are plenty of tracks in this game to keep you busy for
00:29a while and the tracks look really good, beautifully designed with nice backdrops and other features
00:36you may not notice for the first few times of playing. There are many well hidden shortcuts
00:41that you really got to keep an eye open for. There are lots of objects to avoid, many flying
00:47projectiles headed your way and not just from other players. There are plenty of speed boost
00:54ramps to hit and lots of boxes to smash into to collect weapons to use on other players.
01:01There are 6 tournaments and each have 3 tracks in, so giving you a total of 18 race tracks.
01:08Some collectible weapons on the tracks come by way of a boomerang, a speed boost, bomb,
01:16stun gun with 3 shots and slang which brings you to a dead halt. There are 9 all together
01:22and also there is a weapon unique to each playable character. There is a choice between
01:299 characters and also 9 cars, you can mix and match between the characters and the cars.
01:35At the beginning of the game you only have 3 characters and cars available to you, the
01:41rest you have to unlock by completing certain races in hard mode. Driving the car requires
01:48you to have to hold the actual steering wheel, it might take you a few games to get used
01:54to this but it's not impossible. I got my technique down to steering and accelerating
02:00with my left hand and then grabbing weapons and throwing with my right hand. I'm certain
02:06I read that they plan to include driving with a stick in future updates but do not quote
02:11me on that. Now where this game really becomes a lot of fun is in multiplayer. You can have
02:17up to 6 players. Maybe you saw my video I posted a couple weeks ago where myself, MischiefVR
02:24and ObserveVR had a multiplayer battle through all 18 tracks. Ok, I didn't win but it sure
02:32was a lot of fun. I think we all agreed that ploughing through the herd of sheep was hilarious
02:39and was all of our favourite part. Now there was some lag whilst we were in multiplayer.
02:46Most of it was when we were in the lobby and all throwing grenades at each other but
02:50in general there was hardly any lag during multiplayer games and I didn't notice any
02:55lag at all when I was playing the single player. There was an odd occasion where I would jump
03:02off the map or get stuck in a rock and couldn't get out. In tournament you play through the
03:08difficulties by starting with easy. Once you finish first place you unlock normal and then
03:14finally hard. In single track mode it's easy, normal, hard and finally challenge. I'm not
03:22really a fan of that, I prefer just to be able to choose my own difficulty from the
03:26start but I understand why they have done it. The menus are easy, music on or off, adjust
03:33the amount of tunnelling you want. You can also select whether you want to enable car
03:37collision on or off. If you are looking for that kind of Mario style racing game in VR
03:43I highly recommend this game. While it's not obviously Mario it is a lot of fun and
03:49I'm sure future updates will really improve on this. So I am going to score Galaxy Kart
03:55a 40 out of 45. You can find my scoring system in the description section below. Now please

04:10and happy gaming.
