00:27We've all been waiting for this one, right?
00:30Everyone's been watching all the early testing footage on YouTube and getting excited.
00:36It's no secret, I love shooters.
00:39I only bought my PlayStation 3 and my PlayStation 4 so I could play Battlefield online.
00:46Now this game, don't think for one second that you are going to be able to jump into this game and get 20 kills and have all the best weapons.
00:55This game has a steep learning curve.
00:58You're more than likely going to die a lot of times and think it's way too hard.
01:04But once you get past the 3 or 4 hour mark, you start to get the hang of it.
01:09If you are lucky, you will find teammates that will share lots of good advice with you.
01:14If you have friends that you can play with, I highly recommend doing that because going alone is very unforgiving.
01:22Now my main gripe with this game is the menus everywhere.
01:26I'm not really a fan of things being spread out all over the place.
01:30I prefer everything right in front of me laid out real simple.
01:35There are so many weapons to pick from.
01:38Rifles, pistols, SMGs, shotguns and the old sniper rifles.
01:43But at the same time, not really many stand out.
01:47Maybe 2 or 3.
01:49There's also a lot of things to collect and buy whilst out on the battlefield.
01:54Bandages, ammo, guns, attachments, health, armour plates and much needed money.
02:02The money is going to let you buy a ticket back if you get killed.
02:08Or you can bring back your teammates.
02:11You can also buy gun attachments and guns from the red vendor machine.
02:17And from the purple vendor, you can buy backpack extensions, bandages, first aid, magazine extensions and other tactical items.
02:28Now there's 9 characters you can pick from.
02:31And then there are the skins that you can buy for them by earning coins and RP.
02:37Which you will get by playing the game and doing contracts.
02:41Now the size of the battlefield is pretty large.
02:4560 players in teams of up to 3.
02:48I really hope in the future they are going to add a few more battlefields just to keep it fresh.
02:55The controls can be a little tricky to get used to.
02:59But you will learn the important controls pretty quickly.
03:03Then the rest you will just pick up along the way.
03:06The player base seems to be large enough.
03:09And I'm sure it's going to get larger.
03:12I met people playing on the PlayStation, the PC and the Quest.
03:17Most of them were really nice.
03:20I only came across about 2 toxic kids and 1 or 2 who liked to shout racial words.
03:28This game is very confusing when it comes to upgrades and perks.
03:32But stick with it.
03:34It's going to take many, many hours of gameplay.
03:37But once you get used to it, you are going to love it.
03:41Just keep earning those experience points.
03:44I have played a lot of shooters on the Quest.
03:47And this is right up there on the top.
03:50I still have so much to learn in this game.
03:53But I have met some great people already who have shared many tips with me.
03:58So on that note, I'm going to score Contractor's Showdown a 41 out of 45.
