00:12You are going face to face with the Tyrant Lizard King himself, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
00:18Oh man, this game. When I played this game about 18 months ago on my Quest 2,
00:25I just couldn't believe I'd never played this game and that no one talks about it.
00:31You are playing a hunter that's playing a game and it's going to be just like going to Jurassic Island to hunt.
00:39You have to scan for clues to find where your dinosaur is, then go find him, kill him, cut it open and take out his heart as a trophy.
00:49But it doesn't end there. You then also have to make it back to the teleport safely.
00:54This game is so well done. I really couldn't believe how much I got into this. I just couldn't put it down.
01:01There are approximately 41 hunts and the game is going to give you between 15 to 20 hours of playtime.
01:10The controls will take a little getting used to, but they are well laid out. Within a hunt or two, you will have them down.
01:18Each hunt can last between 20 minutes to an hour, depending on how much you explore and if you do the secondary hunt.
01:26Also be warned, some of these dinosaurs will be armed with guns or rockets and have battle armor, just to make your hunt that little bit harder.
01:37There are also restrictions of dinosaurs. You are not allowed to kill during each hunt, but everything is explained to you in a brief before you teleport out.
01:47The weapons you have is a bow and arrow with different types of arrows. Normal, electric, acid, grapple and explosive.
01:55These are easy selectable just by pushing a button on your right controller as you have the arrow and bow.
02:02You also have a shield that is useful for hiding behind. Keeps you invisible for 15 to 20 seconds.
02:09You access this just by a quick squeeze of the left grip button.
02:14You also have an assortment of mines. Don't underestimate these. These are very useful and vital to kill your prey.
02:21Whilst you are out hunting your prey, there are boxes scattered around where you can refill your arrows, mines and health.
02:29The maps are big and look great. Lots of great looking locations and plenty of places to hide or climb to using your grapple arrows.
02:39The ambience also sounds great too and really helps sell the atmospheres and there are also many dinosaurs.
02:47If you squeeze the trigger near your head, you enable a mode on your helmet that allows you to scan for a clue.
02:55It will also highlight any bushes that you can hide in. When you crouch, a purple shield lights up around you to tell you you are hidden.
03:04The menus are simple. Plenty of options here to customise your game.
03:09There is also a training room where you can shoot targets to get used to the bow and arrows.
03:14Then there is also a trophy room where you can proudly display your kills.
03:20As you progress through the game, you will be able to upgrade your armour for your head, arms, chest, legs and even your bow.
03:30Now, there isn't a multiplayer or online options in this game which is a shame as I think playing this with a mate would be tons of fun.
03:39So, if you like hunting, sneaking around, the thrill of a chase, the adrenaline rush from being chased, then this game is a must for you.
03:48It's something a little different and that's what really appealed to me. I'm so glad that I bought this. You get a lot of hours out of this game.
