Cave Digger 2 Dig Harder is a 1-4-player action-adventure game set in wildland valleys, where you explore old mines, nautical caves, and ruins of ancient civilizations inspired by Western, Dieselpunk and Lovecraftian themes.

00:00let's make no mistake here if you like to grind then this is your game because
00:20you will need to collect treasures to earn money to buy better equipment to
00:24upgrade that equipment and to open new locations and then make those new
00:29locations workable and let me tell you as you upgrade the game just gets better
00:34I never played the first game of this series so I had no idea of what to
00:40expect you have four mining locations and when you go down into a mine there
00:46are three levels you start your way at one and then have to work your way
00:51through to the end of the mine to the next lift down to level two the mine
00:56seems to change each time you go down so no risks of boredom on your left glove
01:01there is a flame built into your finger which you will use to light torches in
01:06the mines and also it has information such as your health and how full your
01:10backpack is and how much money you have there will be things waiting to kill you
01:15and there will be treasures absolutely everywhere so keep your eyes peeled you
01:21have four slots that you can carry stuff and the choices of stuff to carry are
01:25a pickaxe, shovel, sledgehammer, a gun, dynamite, detector machine and a gold pan
01:33all are stored in another cabin close by where you can change what you want to
01:39bring down into the mines there's also other stuff you can buy such as a log
01:43cabin this is where you can personalize your character then there's an elevator
01:48crank two different types and other stuff you can upgrade is your backpack
01:53gloves and health there are tons of things to collect in this game and
01:58secret locations to find so use what tools you have and dig whatever you see
02:04that can be dug when you reach level 3 if you're lucky you will find the safe
02:09and then you have to solve a riddle to crack the safe good luck with that I'm
02:14not so great at riddles so I just have to use the good old-fashioned dynamite
02:19once you have collected all treasures you will then empty them into a grinder
02:24which will turn them into cash and with this cash you are going to buy and
02:28upgrade your gear your backpack being one of the first things you should
02:33upgrade a couple of times so you can store more treasures also once your
02:38backpack is full it won't stop you adding more it'll just boot out the
02:42least valuable treasures you can also accept side missions to earn more cash
02:48and keep your eyes open for artifacts which offer some rewards there are pages
02:54to collect which will tell a story these are found in the safes and apparently
02:59this game has numerous endings so you are gonna easily get tons and tons of
03:05hours out of this game as there is just so much to explore and unlock there are
03:10four locations and tons of places to explore in between you have to buy each
03:16location on the map and then you also need to pay to open up the mine the
03:21controls are easy to master nothing complicated in here at all the audio
03:26sounds good I especially love the guy who's narrating to you and giving you
03:31instructions multiplayer offers up to four of you to go out mining I imagine
03:37this to be so much fun with your friends but I'm told by my youtuber friend
03:41mischief VR that it does have some issues this game offers pass through I
03:47drank from a mystery purple bottle and then found myself in my room with places
03:53to dig or mine treasure and even bugs attack at me if you have a fair sized
03:58room I think this would be great fun but not so much if your room is small now
04:02the biggest issue I had with this game was occasionally it likes to crash which
04:08you have just invested 30 to 45 minutes of your time exploring killing and
04:13collecting it tends to piss you off hoping future updates will take care of
04:17that I can truly say that I'm surprised by this game and how addicting it is I
04:22find myself wanting to get back down into those mines to find treasures and
04:27to unlock more and more so with that I score cave digger to dig harder a 52
