13:44Sa public health advisory na inilabas po ng DOH,
13:47pweding makuha ang mpox sa pamamagitan ng
13:50direktang contact ng balat o mucosal lesions.
13:54Ibig pong sabihin yan,
13:55pwede itong makuha sa pakikipag-usap,
13:57paghalig, paghawak,
13:59at pakikipagtalik sa mga taong mayroong ganitong karamdaman.
14:03Now with heightened awareness and increased detection
14:06by our dermatologists and other primary care providers,

15:57ng Philippine Eye Research Institute noong 2018,
16:00tinatayang nasa lagpas 1 million Pilipino
16:02o 1.06 percent ng total population
16:05ang may katarata.
16:07Ang katarata ay ang pag-clouding ng ating lens
16:11sa loob ng mata.
16:12Hindi ito nasa labas, kundi nasa gitna ng ating mata.
16:16Ang pinaka number one cause ng cataract
16:19ay aging.
16:20Lahat ng tao, 50 years old and above,
16:24magkakaroon na ng dahan-dahan
16:27ng pagkakakuroon ng katarata.
16:29Ang sakit na katarata,
16:31pweding nasa duguraw at namamana.
16:34Maari din itong makuha mula sa isang aksidente
16:37kapag tinamaan ang mata.
16:39At pwede ring komplikasyon sa sakit na diabetes.
16:43Kataract, wala ka masyadong napapansin
16:45kundi panlalabo ng paningin.
16:47Kaya kala mo, ano lang eh,
16:49kailangan mo lang ng eyeglasses.
16:51Walang pain, kasi ang lens ng ating mata,
16:55wala yang pain fibers.

17:44Kwestyo naman yan,
17:45ay pinadala ni Kent Pasadas.
17:47Kapag merong ingrown ang isang tao,
17:49yung nail plate na tinatawag,
17:52actually, it's pressing on dun sa laman.
17:55Or dun sa tinatawag na nail bed.
17:58Nagkakaroon ngayon ng swelling
18:01dahil natutusok niya ito.
18:03And of course, sometimes,
18:05nagkakaroon ng infection.
18:08Usually, when patients come to us,
18:10yung ingrown toenails na yan
18:11ay namamagana at infected.
18:13So what we do is,
18:14we give mga anti-inflammatories
18:16like paracetamols
18:18or mga ibuprofens or NSAIDs na tinatawag.
18:21And of course, we give them antibiotics.
18:23And then pagkatapos nun,
18:25pag humupa na yun,
18:26then we can actually remove
18:28those mga tinatawag na mga ingrown nails.
18:31So we can remove them by nail avulsion.
18:34That's a minor surgical procedure.
18:37Using lang alungkal anesthesia.
18:39So we can remove them.

18:43Iiwasan mo na ngayon
