00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07I spoke in the program of Professor Mia Inamranman.
00:13After her, I spoke about Allama Mahmood Ahmed Ludhianvi.
00:20He is my uncle, my youngest uncle and my father-in-law.
00:25He was Allama's graduate from Jamia Basia Faruq.
00:30He was also a Faruq Tahseel from Mazar-e-Noom Khadda, Karachi.
00:36He was a great scholar, a great khadeeb and a very good Muqarrar.
00:40He ran Habib College in Imranabad Gate for about 40 years in Gujranwala.
00:49There were very few people there.
00:53They used to pay fees.
00:56One day I spoke to him and he said,
00:59I am running this school with the passion of service.
01:04It is just a little bit of income.

02:06People used to support them.
02:09When Habib Kali was elected,
02:13he privatized all the schools in the city.
02:19But my uncle's school, which was named after Habib Kali,
02:23was not nationalized by the government of that time.
02:28One reason was that he was serving the people.
02:33The other reason was that when there was a movement against Ayub,
02:37when there was a movement against the society,
02:40the people's party had to protest.
02:43They did not have a place to protest.
02:46So my uncle presented his college to the government
02:51and asked them to protest.
02:54He said that he would tolerate the strictness of the government.
02:58The people's party had taken it out of their hands.
03:01This is a fact.
