00:00Hello, good morning. We've got another fine and dry day for much of the country in store.
00:05A little bit breezy with some showers further north. And that's because we're still seeing
00:09this low pressure still influencing the far north of Scotland. But for most of the UK,
00:13this ridge of high pressure extending up from the Azores will be acting to settle that weather
00:17down through the rest of Sunday and the first part of Monday. But as we head later on through
00:22Monday, we've got several frontal systems waiting out in the wings, giving some more
00:25unsettled conditions to start the next week. But back to this morning. So to start off
00:30with plenty of sunshine around, there will be some showers across parts of southwestern
00:34Wales and a little bit more frequent further north and particularly across western Scotland.
00:38There's going to be still showers feeding through on quite a brisk wind. But by the
00:41time we head into the afternoon, that ridge of high pressure is going to act to kill off
00:44some of those showers. And it's going to be a mostly dry day. Northern Ireland, northern
00:48England, Wales and the southwest, a much brighter day than we saw yesterday. Lots of sunshine
00:53around and really feeling quite pleasant in that perhaps up to 25 degrees in the far
00:58southeast and a little bit chillier further north, at best into the mid teens on these
01:02exposed western parts. And it's going to still be feeling quite chilly here, particularly
01:05over high ground and for the hills. But through Sunday evening, we're going to see lots of
01:11fine and sunshine around. It's going to be very pleasant for most. We're still going
01:15to see some showers feeding into the far northwest of Scotland, and we will see the cloud beginning
01:19to thicken from the west as this frontal system begins to approach into the start of
01:23Monday. Cool, though, ahead of this, we've got temperatures still only into the low double
01:29figures and perhaps into single figures and a few rural spots where it could feel quite
01:33chilly to start the day on Monday. But there will be plenty of sunshine around, particularly
01:38across the eastern half. We do have quite an east west split, so lots of sunshine further
01:42east and further west. We're going to see thickening cloud and strengthening wind as
01:47this frontal system approaches through Monday. Pretty heavy at times as well. And we're going
01:52to see temperatures at best into the mid to high teens underneath that cloud of rain and
01:56feeling quite cool here. But further east with that southerly flow, we do see some of
02:01these warmer, more humid temperatures pushing up into northeast England, where it will be
02:05a warmer day when it has been recently. So sunshine holding on just about across the
02:10southeast through Monday evening, but it'll be a wet night to come. If you'd like to check
