00:00Hello there, welcome to your latest weather forecast on The Metaverse. Well, after a fairly
00:04mixed weekend so far, Monday's offerings sank a little bit drier and brighter across the
00:10UK. It's not going to be completely dry, we will see some showers, especially across parts
00:14of southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northern England and Wales. But elsewhere, as I said,
00:19should be largely dry with some good spells of sunshine. And with lighter winds compared
00:24to the weekend, it should also feel a little bit warmer out there, especially across the
00:28southern half of the UK. We'll see highs potentially up to about 22 or 23 degrees.
00:35So we do end Monday off on a fairly dry and fine note for many parts of England and Wales.
00:41But for Scotland and Northern Ireland, this next band of rain will move in throughout
00:45the evening and night. Some heavy and persistent rain at times, especially for parts of Scotland.
00:50So if you do have any travel plans overnight, do allow some extra time for your journeys
00:53because there could be some fairly poor travelling conditions in places. But with winds coming
00:59up from the south, it should be a fairly mild night for most of us. Under the clear skies
01:03across England, we could just dip into single figures in the countryside. But I think for
01:07most towns and cities firmly holding up into double figures. So we start Tuesday off on
01:12a wet note for many parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland. That rain will push its way
01:17a little bit further southeastwards during the course of the day, moving into parts of
01:21Cumbria and Wales. But for southern Scotland especially, that rain's really going to persist
01:26through most of the day. So again, if you have any travel plans, just allow some extra
01:31time for your journey. For Northern Ireland and the rest of Scotland, though, it will
01:35brighten up as the day goes on. A mixture of sunshine and blustery showers here. But
01:40the driest and brightest weather will be across a good chunk of England and eastern parts
01:45of Wales. And with the winds again still coming in from the south, increasingly warm could
01:50see highs reaching around 25 or 26 degrees in the sunshine. And then warmer still into
01:56Wednesday could potentially be up into the high 20s across the south. But this rain band
02:01will eventually push its way right across the country as we go into the middle to end
02:06part of the week. But you can find out more details about the weather for the week ahead
02:09on our social media channels. But for me for now, take care and I'll see you again soon.
