Little Witches is a 1996 Canadian-American horror film directed by Jane Simpson and written by Brian DiMuccio and Dino Vindeni. It has a similar plot to The Craft and released in the same year, though Little Witches had a much smaller budget.
Plot
Faith Ferguson (Mimi Rose) is a relatively shy but intelligent teenager who is heartbroken when her mother informs her that she must spend Easter break at her Catholic girls' school as opposed to coming home. She's roomed with the rebellious Jamie (Sheeri Rappaport), who initially scandalizes Faith with her wild antics. Despite her initial misgivings, Faith finds herself bonding slightly with Jamie and the four other teen misfits that had to remain behind - Erica, Gina, Nicole, and Kelsey. The group is soon intrigued when construction work on the school's church uncovers a Satanic temple containing the mummified remains of several schoolgirls believed to have gone missing almost a hundred years ago.

00:00:00I am the Lord's Guardian, the Horned Demon cannot come while I am alive.
00:00:30Who can tell me where this passage is from?
00:00:44Try the outer rings of hell.
00:00:46Jamie, why don't you give it a shot?
00:00:50I'm afraid I don't speak a dead language.
00:00:52Don't be quick to judge.
00:00:53For those who understand it, it holds great power.
00:00:55It's Virgil from the Aeneid.
00:00:57Very good, Finn.
00:00:58Kiss-ass nerd.
00:01:00Knowledge is power.
00:01:01But ignorance is bliss.
00:01:06Is this your idea of a ten-page paper on Plato?
00:01:09If you'd assign us cooler stuff, I might get more inspired.
00:01:12Okay, give me an example of cooler stuff.
00:01:17Macbeth.
00:01:18Great.
00:01:19Got yourself an Easter break assignment.
00:01:20I want a ten-page paper on Macbeth and you.
00:01:23Then vacation's over.
00:01:25Fair is foul and foul is fair.
00:01:28Hover through the fog and filth the air.
00:01:31Macbeth, I can't see money.
00:01:40On Monday, I had four pieces of bacon with breakfast.
00:01:44And you know how fatty the bacon is in that cafeteria, Father?
00:01:48But for lunch, I just had a baked potato with some sour cream and some butter.
00:01:54But not much, really.
00:01:58And on Tuesday, I got a box of fudge from my grandmother.
00:02:04I wasn't going to share it with everyone, but I ate it that night in my room.
00:02:11Do you have any sins of a non-dietary nature you'd like to confess to?
00:02:16No, Father.
00:02:18In that sense, I'd like you to spend five minutes reflecting on the 39th Psalm.
00:02:24Now go and make your act of contrition.
00:02:44So what do you think?
00:02:46I was thinking about my cheeks sucked.
00:02:49You know, like those models on the underwear ads.
00:02:51I'll be a whole new woman.
00:02:53What do you think?
00:02:55Why am I asking you?
00:02:57Hey, do you know what they're doing at the church?
00:03:01Earthquake repairs over the break.
00:03:04You mean those guys are going to be here the whole week?
00:03:06I guess.
00:03:09Maybe sticking around here won't be so bad after all.
00:03:11Wait, you're staying?
00:03:13Well, me too.
00:03:14You know, I heard they're on an FRA, so they're moving us into the North Hall.
00:03:17I mean, maybe we'll room together.
00:03:19What a rage.
00:03:30Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.
00:03:35It has been one week since my last confession.
00:03:41It's time.
00:03:44I've had doubts, Father.
00:03:46All pain leads to salvation.
00:03:49Why did God take my father away?
00:03:52He was so great.
00:03:54He worked really hard.
00:03:55I know, but he was always there for me.
00:03:57God teaches us in many ways.
00:04:01It doesn't seem fair.
00:04:03Mom's always busy.
00:04:08Charlie, it's time for me now.
00:04:16I don't know where I belong.
00:04:19Faith, you must begin to realize that you're a part of God's plan.
00:04:25Will you be with your mother during Holy Week?
00:04:29Yes, I will.
00:04:31Then this will be a good time for you to mend your relationship.
00:04:35Now, I want you to spend seven minutes
00:04:40contemplating the immensity of God.
00:04:49I want you to ask yourself,
00:04:52why did Christ hang on the cross?
00:04:59Yes, Father.
00:05:08Seven.
00:05:10Seven?
00:05:11This is too easy.
00:05:26Father, I've been a bad girl.
00:05:28So?
00:05:29I was with a man.
00:05:33Do you mean in a carnal sense?
00:05:37I'm not sure.
00:05:39I think it was carnal.
00:05:41You think it was carnal?
00:05:44Well, I met a man at the beach last weekend,
00:05:48and we went for a swim together.
00:05:52Not very far out, so...
00:05:56everyone on shore could still see us, and...
00:06:01he started to kiss me.
00:06:06I knew I was going to stop him, but...
00:06:10it just felt so good.
00:06:12He started to take off my top, and...
00:06:15I knew it was wrong, but I let him do it.
00:06:22Father, I felt so confused.
00:06:24I just closed my eyes and prayed for guidance,
00:06:28and when I had opened them,
00:06:32he'd taken off his bathing suit.
00:06:39Jamie, you are going to have to find another way
00:06:42to deal with your family problems
00:06:45without these performances of yours.
00:06:48Your continuing disrespect will only lead you into darkness.
00:06:52Father, I forget.
00:06:55The oral sex of venial sin or immortal sin.
00:06:59For penance, you will stay here, in the church,
00:07:03and meditate on the immensity of God.
00:07:0720 minutes.
00:07:12Hold on.
00:07:1420?
00:07:1520.
00:07:17What'd she do?
00:07:19What didn't she do?
00:07:28Bye, sister. Bye.
00:07:40Faith!
00:07:42Faith!
00:07:44Faith!
00:07:49You have a call in the office.
00:07:53It's your mother.
00:07:55Okay.
00:08:10Hi.
00:08:11Hey.
00:08:12What's your name?
00:08:13Daniel.
00:08:16That's quite a tool you got there, Daniel.
00:08:18Yeah, definitely not for little kids.
00:08:21Do I look like a little kid to you?
00:08:25Nice.
00:08:26You like that?
00:08:27Yeah, my little sister's got one,
00:08:29and she's in the eighth grade.
00:08:32Hey, Dino, watch that scaffolding.
00:08:40What's wrong, Mom? Where are you?
00:08:42Honey, I'm sorry, this is so last minute.
00:08:44I'm not going to be there to pick you up.
00:08:46Okay, I'll take a bus to the train station.
00:08:48No, honey, look, I can't talk long.
00:08:50A cab's going to be here to take me to the airport.
00:08:52Bristol invited me to Australia
00:08:54to tell me a story on Average.
00:08:56There's something down there.
00:08:57I think we're getting serious.
00:08:58What are you saying, Mother?
00:09:00I've arranged for you to spend the week there at school.
00:09:02You're kidding.
00:09:03And you can come home for a weekend soon, I promise.
00:09:05Either way, it will give you a chance
00:09:07to catch up on your studies.
00:09:09I just want to come home.
00:09:10Faith, please don't do this.
00:09:12I told you.
00:09:13Oh, hold on, the cab's here.
00:09:14I have to go.
00:09:15I'll call.
00:09:17Okay.
00:09:18I love you, too.
00:09:20Bye.
00:09:23You going to be all right?
00:09:26Yeah.
00:09:28I'm fine.
00:09:32I'm fine.
00:09:34Guess I'm staying.
00:09:37It won't be so bad, the library will be open.
00:09:40Oh.
00:09:46Father, it looks like we have another one for Easter break.
00:09:49Oh, well, that's good.
00:09:51That'll help us solve our problem
00:09:53with the room accommodations.
00:09:56Jamie can stay with Faith.
00:09:59Why isn't Jamie going home?
00:10:01After Christmas break,
00:10:03she turned up with bruises on her arms.
00:10:05It was caused by her father.
00:10:07I've been trying to help her through this thing,
00:10:10but sometimes it seems hopeless.
00:10:38Are you okay?
00:10:39Oh, my gosh, you really put something on that.
00:10:41Oh, it doesn't hurt.
00:10:42Just a little scratch.
00:10:44All right, Father, you ready for this?
00:10:47Oh!
00:10:49Look at her hair and her nails, see?
00:10:52Kept growing even after she was dead.
00:10:54She was sealed in the outer wall
00:10:56like some kind of a warning.
00:10:57I know, I know.
00:10:58I'm going to send her to the lab.
00:11:00You know, see what they come up with.
00:11:01All right, let's get them out of here, huh?
00:11:03Father, I want to keep this area secure for a while,
00:11:06all right?
00:11:07I'm going to be in touch with you.
00:11:08Let's walk over here.
00:11:10Watch your head in here, Father.
00:11:14Wow.
00:11:15Aren't those stories that they say are really true?
00:11:17Yeah, the Illuminatis for sure.
00:11:20What's Illuminatis?
00:11:21They were the school's poetry society,
00:11:23but they got really into Yeats,
00:11:24and they called themselves Illuminatis
00:11:26after they grew up in England.
00:11:27It was like 100 years ago.
00:11:29Wasn't it, when they just all disappeared?
00:11:31Yeah, they all disappeared, all of them,
00:11:32and they were never heard from again.
00:11:34Until now.
00:11:35This exterior wall was added after the fire, see?
00:11:41And the entrance from inside the church,
00:11:45it was all bricked up.
00:11:49Somebody went to a lot of trouble
00:11:50to seal this place up tight.
00:11:53Slick job.
00:11:54Did you know it was here?
00:11:56No.
00:11:59Come in here, Father.
00:12:02Good Lord, what happened here?
00:12:04I was hoping you could tell me.
00:12:06What is this place?
00:12:08Well, it's...
00:12:09It's a Baptist tree.
00:12:11It's kind of hard to tell with all these bones
00:12:13scattered around all over the place, but...
00:12:16I would say that...
00:12:18there were six people burned here.
00:12:24I don't know.
00:12:25I don't know.
00:12:26I don't know.
00:12:27I don't know.
00:12:28I don't know.
00:12:29I don't know.
00:12:36Oh, man.
00:12:39The room is kind of dull, don't you think?
00:12:42There's stuff on the walls.
00:12:44It's mine.
00:12:45Yeah, well, for the next week, it's mine too.
00:12:56Hey, put that down.
00:12:58It's your university waiting list.
00:13:02It's Brainiac, you're not in.
00:13:04Not yet.
00:13:24Like the views?
00:13:28Let's get their attention, shall we?
00:13:32Hi, baby!
00:13:37Turn it up!
00:13:59Whoa!
00:14:00Oh, yeah!
00:14:01All right!
00:14:02All right!
00:14:03Underneath the stars, underneath the moon
00:14:06Underneath the birds around, you know I do
00:14:09Whoa!
00:14:10Whoa!
00:14:11Whoa!
00:14:12Whoa!
00:14:13Whoa!
00:14:14Whoa!
00:14:15Whoa!
00:14:16Whoa!
00:14:17Whoa!
00:14:18Whoa!
00:14:19Whoa!
00:14:20Whoa!
00:14:21Whoa!
00:14:22Whoa!
00:14:23Whoa!
00:14:24Whoa!
00:14:25Whoa!
00:14:26Whoa!
00:14:27Don't you ever break the rules?
00:14:28Sneak out with some guy or something?
00:14:30I don't have a boyfriend.
00:14:34Oh.
00:14:36Just have to find one then, you know?
00:14:39You're a burnin' bitch.
00:14:46Haven't you ever done it with a guy?
00:14:49No.
00:14:51Well, since we're stuck together over break,
00:14:54I guess I could give you a few pointers.
00:14:56It's okay. I got a lot of studying.
00:14:59So do I, but you know what they say.
00:15:01Won't work and no play.
00:15:06Yeah, we could maybe give you a haircut or something.
00:15:11Do your makeup.
00:15:15Some sexy threads.
00:15:17Humma humma.
00:15:19Do you think I'm pretty?
00:15:21Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I do. I do.
00:15:23I think you've got potential.
00:15:25Just need to work on it a little, that's all.
00:15:28You really think so?
00:15:30Yeah. You just have to loosen up a bit.
00:15:33Guys will be able to take their hands off you.
00:15:48How do you suppose a girl's hair could keep growing like that?
00:15:51I don't know. Protein?
00:15:52A stone wall.
00:15:54Good one, Nicole.
00:15:55No, it's been known to happen.
00:15:56I mean, the body has to be preserved just so,
00:15:58but there have been a few documentations.
00:16:00Well, yeah, her skin didn't look so good, though.
00:16:03Enough, girls. The food's getting cold.
00:16:16So, what do you think we should do tonight?
00:16:18Oh, I think I'm going to latch my legs.
00:16:20They've got some exciting movies for us to watch, I'm sure.
00:16:25What's the matter, Erica? Don't you like the diet plate?
00:16:33Would one of you girls mind taking this over to the convent?
00:16:36To Mother Clodagh for me?
00:16:41Look at the time.
00:16:42Yeah, we've got to go.
00:16:44Yeah.
00:16:51Sorry.
00:16:52Sorry.
00:16:53Sorry.
00:16:54I need to use the computer.
00:16:55Oh.
00:16:58Mother Clodagh's not too popular.
00:17:04Strange.
00:17:05So, what do you girls say about me?
00:17:07Oh, we think you're really cool.
00:17:08Just nobody knows why you'd want to be a...
00:17:10Be a nun?
00:17:12That's a fair question.
00:17:13Why are you?
00:17:15I was raised by nuns at the orphanage.
00:17:17An orphanage.
00:17:19My sisters helped me find my calling.
00:17:21They showed me the power of God, so here I am.
00:17:27Sometimes I feel like an orphan.
00:17:30Faith, if you ever feel like talking, I'm here to listen.
00:17:35Thanks.
00:17:36Thank you.

00:19:26Stanford.
00:19:27Wow.
00:19:28Yeah.
00:19:29My folks gave that to me.
00:19:30Last year when I got into the architecture program.
00:19:32And that's where I want to go.
00:19:34So what are you doing here?
00:19:36I'm on a work trip.
00:19:38Oh.
00:19:39Yeah.
00:19:40I'm on a work trip.

00:19:45Yeah.
00:19:46I'm on a work trip.
00:19:47I'm on a work study program.
00:19:49I'm learning about the restoration of historic buildings like your church.
00:19:54Cool.
00:19:55Thanks.
00:19:56Don't you think it's strange that nobody ever figured out that there was a room behind the
00:20:01wall there all this time?
00:20:02I mean, it was almost like somebody really wanted it hidden.
00:20:05I kind of want to do some research on it.
00:20:07We have a great library.
00:20:09I'm sure Father Michael would let you use it.
00:20:12Really?
00:20:13Do you have computers and internet access?
00:20:15Yeah.
00:20:16What's your password?
00:20:18I could help you if you want.
00:20:20Um.
00:20:21How about Monday at lunchtime?
00:20:26Great.
00:20:27Then I'll see you on Monday.
00:20:28Good night, Faith.
00:20:29Good night, Daniel.
00:20:31Take care of that arm.
00:20:32You got it, Doc.
00:20:41How do you guys think this sand stuff works anyway?
00:20:44Oh, it's simple.
00:20:45It's dead and it's like making a long-distance phone call.
00:20:48Well, still, cookie.
00:20:52Ah!
00:20:53Hi, Faith.
00:20:54I missed you.
00:20:56I changed my mind.
00:20:58Welcome to the Pleasure Dome.
00:21:00Hi, Faithy.
00:21:01How was your visit with the living dead?
00:21:03Who?
00:21:04Mother Clodagh.
00:21:05Did she make you get down on your knees and pray?
00:21:06Did she whack you with her cane?
00:21:08I didn't see her.
00:21:10Have you guys ever seen Clodagh's collection of crucifixes?
00:21:14No vampire can get within, like, ten feet of her.
00:21:16How old do you guys think she is, anyway?
00:21:18Oh, she's ageless.
00:21:19She's never gonna die.
00:21:21Hey, I, um, I hope it's cool with you that we're hanging in your room.
00:21:24Hey, we figured you could use some cheering up and, uh, well,
00:21:28us rejects have to stick together.
00:21:30Those things don't really work, do they?
00:21:33Hmm?
00:21:34Why don't we try it?
00:21:35We could bring back the Illuminati.
00:21:38How?
00:21:39Well, we could hold a seance in that room.
00:21:42I bet you their aura's still there.
00:21:44I don't think that's such a good idea.
00:21:46I mean, there's police tape all over there.
00:21:48We could get in trouble.
00:21:50Come on, Jamie, let's find out what really happened.
00:21:53Cool idea.
00:21:55Hey, hey, wait a minute.
00:21:57What about Sister Sherrilyn?
00:21:58So sweet.
00:22:02We got Kelsey the rope girl.
00:22:12Oh, my God.
00:22:19Where are you going?
00:22:20Shh.
00:22:21Shh.
00:22:23Okay, we're gonna be okay.
00:22:24We're good.
00:22:25We're good.
00:22:26Come on, White.
00:22:28I'm ready.
00:22:29Go, let's go, let's go.
00:22:30Okay.
00:22:31Shh.
00:22:32Shh.
00:22:33Shh.
00:22:34Shh.
00:22:35Shh.
00:22:36Shh.
00:22:37Shh.
00:22:38Shh.
00:22:39Shh.
00:22:40Shh.
00:22:42Shh.
00:22:44Okay, come on, we gotta move fast.
00:22:46Uh, you take the wine and some candles.
00:22:52It's a matter of faithful.
00:22:54You want me to go in there and steal that stuff?
00:22:57We all have to do our share, Faith.
00:22:59You're one of the gang now, remember?
00:23:01Come on, Faith, it'll be great.
00:23:03Go, go, go, go.
00:23:06Okay, you got me.
00:23:07Right on.
00:23:08Shh.
00:23:09Shh.
00:23:10Go.
00:23:12Right on.
00:23:15Shh.
00:23:16Okay.
00:23:17Go.
00:23:40Shh.
00:23:41Shh.
00:23:42Shh.
00:23:43Shh.
00:23:44I'm sorry.
00:24:08Why'd you do that?
00:24:11I'm just having fun.
00:24:13It's not funny.
00:24:14It is funny.
00:24:15Come on, loosen up.
00:24:16Good girl.
00:24:17Give me a candle.
00:24:18Do you want me to get a candle?
00:24:19We, uh, we have to get this.
00:24:20All right.
00:24:21All right.
00:24:22All right.
00:24:23Get up.

00:27:27it's for Uncle Father Michael
00:27:29okay
00:27:33Huh?
00:27:33Handle?
00:27:46I know.
00:27:46I know.
00:27:48Jump, jump, jump!
00:27:49It stopped raining.
00:27:50Jesus.
00:27:51Jump!
00:27:55Eddie.
00:27:58Is it the backpack?
00:27:58Now what?
00:28:13Now we all have to take hands.
00:28:20All hail our sister, Illuminati.
00:28:26Come and tell us your secrets.
00:28:28And tell us how you died.
00:28:31Tell us how to reach Kirko Bay.
00:28:34Could you be serious?
00:28:37Now close your eyes.
00:28:47All hail our sister, Illuminati.
00:28:50Rise and reach out to us.
00:28:54Live again, walk again, breathe again.
00:29:00All hail, all hail, all hail.
00:29:12This isn't working.
00:29:23Come out, come out, wherever you are.
00:29:33It's not working.
00:29:35It has to.
00:29:36We must be doing something wrong.
00:29:38Maybe they just can't hear us.
00:29:40You're getting the munchies.
00:29:44We can't reach the other side because...
00:29:55What are you doing?
00:29:56We've got to get rid of anything modern.
00:29:58It's interference.
00:30:02And, well, maybe we're the ones who have to toss over to the other side.
00:30:07Okay.
00:30:10Hurry up, please.
00:30:11Come on.
00:30:13We don't want to pick off all our clothes, do we?
00:30:15Well, do you want this to work or not?
00:30:21Huh?
00:30:29There we go.
00:30:30Okay.
00:30:31There we go.
00:30:32All right.
00:30:33This is ridiculous.
00:30:34I know.
00:30:36Oh, my God.
00:30:38Oh, my God.
00:30:39Oh, my God.
00:30:40Oh, my God.
00:30:41Oh, my God.
00:30:42Oh, my God.
00:30:43Oh, my God.
00:30:44Oh, my God.
00:30:45Oh, my God.
00:30:46Oh, my God.
00:30:47Oh, my God.
00:30:48Oh, my God.
00:30:49Oh, my God.
00:30:50Oh, my God.
00:30:51Oh, my God.
00:30:52Oh, my God.
00:30:53Oh, my God.
00:30:54Oh, my God.
00:30:55Oh, my God.
00:30:56Oh, my God.
00:30:57Oh, my God.
00:30:58Oh, my God.
00:30:59Oh, my God.
00:31:00Oh, my God.
00:31:01Oh, my God.
00:31:02Oh, my God.
00:31:03Oh, my God.
00:31:04Oh, my God.
00:31:05Oh, my God.
00:31:06Oh, my God.
00:31:07Oh, my God.
00:31:08Oh, my God.
00:31:16What is it?
00:31:17What does it say?
00:31:20What does it say?
00:31:29Get off.
00:31:30I am.
00:31:31I'm so sick.
00:31:32Get off.
00:31:33I can't read that.
00:31:35But I know who can.
00:31:37Faith.
00:31:41Anybody?
00:31:43Send me out!
00:31:45I got it, I got it.
00:31:47I'm not holding it.
00:31:49Okay, I know.
00:31:51Somebody!
00:31:53Hang on!
00:31:55Faith.
00:31:57I can't believe you'd play such a silly trick.
00:32:03Where are the others?
00:32:05Um...
00:32:07They're...
00:32:09I'm disappointed.
00:32:11Go to bed. We'll talk about this in the morning.
00:32:34I don't want to hear any more of your lies.
00:32:38Because I know where you've been.
00:32:40I found this on the floor of the church.
00:32:42I found this one under the scaffolding.
00:32:45I want to make this perfectly clear.
00:32:48The only part of the church that is open to you is the sanctuary.
00:32:52The rest is strictly off-limits.
00:32:56It's unsafe.
00:32:58Do you understand?
00:33:04I know what you're going through.
00:33:06It wasn't so long ago that I was in your shoes.
00:33:09I remember.
00:33:11I hated people telling me what to do.
00:33:14But the value of good advice grows in time.
00:33:18My teacher used to tell me,
00:33:21temptation is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
00:33:24From far away, it may look harmless enough,
00:33:27but be careful that it doesn't bite you when it gets too close.
00:33:32Enough lectures for one day?
00:33:35Now, you've all heard the saying,
00:33:38cleanliness is next to godliness.
00:33:54You can't be serious.
00:33:56You mean you want us to do the kitchen?
00:33:59Yeah, you could use a good cleaning.
00:34:01Is this supposed to build character or something?
00:34:04Probably a violation of some child labor law.
00:34:07Let's go. Come on.
00:34:15I'll finish up here. You can do the fridge.
00:34:19Go on.
00:34:21Go for it.
00:34:30Mmm.
00:34:49I wouldn't eat that if I were you.
00:34:52What is it?
00:34:54It's my date.
00:34:59Fishing, anyone?
00:35:01Father, I think we're gonna pass on that. Thanks, though.
00:35:04Yeah, you know, a woman's place is in the kitchen.
00:35:07Germ warfare. You understand.
00:35:10Good afternoon, ladies.
00:35:12Good afternoon, Father.
00:35:14Faith, you should have stuck around last night.
00:35:16We found something.
00:35:18A moldy skeleton?
00:35:20No, a book. A really cool old book.
00:35:23And the whole thing's written in Latin.
00:35:25Gee, what a coincidence.
00:35:27I can read Latin.
00:35:29Oh, come on. You're the whiz.
00:35:31You're the only person who can make any sense out of the thing.
00:35:33Besides, I think it's something important.
00:35:35It has to do with the Illuminati.
00:35:37Yeah, right.
00:35:41I found these notes in the book.
00:35:43An Illuminati named Gertrude wrote them.
00:35:47She says the book ignites her soul with the flame of desire.
00:35:53That sounds hot, huh?
00:35:55Anyway, we're going back there tonight.
00:35:57Are you crazy? After last night?
00:36:00Don't be so lame. We all want to know what happened 100 years ago.
00:36:03Don't you?
00:36:05Yeah, Faith. I mean, what? Don't you like us?
00:36:08Hey, knowledge is power, right?
00:36:10You don't want to be left in the dark.
00:36:13Come on.
00:36:25Oh.
00:36:56You really think that old trick is going to work on Sherrilyn?
00:37:01Of course it will.
00:37:03Besides, we have a secret weapon.
00:37:05Kelsey?
00:37:09That's wild. Voice activated.
00:37:12All right, let's go. Come on.
00:37:14All right.
00:37:25Okay.
00:37:50Oh!
00:37:52Careful.
00:37:56Oh, wow. This is weird.
00:38:01Most of it's in Latin.
00:38:05There's some of the other passages in something else.
00:38:07I don't know. Maybe Gaelic?
00:38:09What's it say?
00:38:11Whoever reads aloud from this poisonous book will be condemned as the devil's mistress.
00:38:15Oh, gosh. Huckleberry Finn, it's not.
00:38:17It's a book of magic or something.
00:38:19Right on. Read on.
00:38:22This is a book of the horned demon,
00:38:25master of the elements,
00:38:27lord of the fertile earth,
00:38:29he who comes.
00:38:31He who comes?
00:38:33That's a good name for a fertility god.
00:38:35Wow, does it mean he's got, like, a washboard stomach and everything?
00:38:38Know that the magic of this book will bring thee great power.
00:38:41Know further that it is the duty of all who read this book
00:38:44to open the gate forgotten
00:38:46that brings forth he who comes.
00:38:50If thou performest these operations faithfully,
00:38:53he who comes will arise from the purified ocean waters
00:38:59on the darkest day of the year.
00:39:03Good Friday.
00:39:05Good Friday? That's next week.
00:39:07This is terrible. What do we do?
00:39:09Therefore they will be punished tenfold.
00:39:13The lord's guardian, bear the mark.
00:39:16Beware and heed.
00:39:18His possessions burned, their heads severed at the neck.
00:39:23What does that mean, a guardian?
00:39:25Not the court-appointed kind. Sounds like a bummer.
00:39:28Oh, it's a story,
00:39:30something that happened a long time ago.
00:39:33It seems this guardian prevented he who comes
00:39:36from entering this world by stopping the spells from happening.
00:39:39But I think there's some pages missing,
00:39:42so we don't have all the information.
00:39:46Gertrude... Gertrude says...
00:39:50Do you know about this?
00:39:54We need to open the gates first.
00:39:57Who's Gertrude?
00:39:59Miss Illuminati, 1896.
00:40:02All right, so I took them. Okay, fine.
00:40:05I wanted to get a head start.
00:40:07Anyway, she says we need to do something called a mirror spell
00:40:13on Good Friday.
00:40:15So...
00:40:17read the northern gate spell.
00:40:20You have to do that first.
00:40:23Stand and face north.
00:40:27Well, the beach is west, and it's that way.
00:40:30Wait, wait, wait. North is that way.
00:40:32No way. I don't know.
00:40:34It's that way.
00:40:36Yes, it is.
00:40:38Yes, it is.
00:40:42All right, you guys, north is this way.
00:40:44We need water.
00:40:46Thank you. Water.
00:40:48Water.
00:41:02O keeper of the northern gate, send forth thine water.
00:41:06Raise thy voice, O demon hail.
00:41:09Water from the northern gate.
00:41:11It flows. We shall not fail.
00:41:14Accept now this pure offering.
00:41:21Show us thy power that we may call thee forth.
00:41:27That's it. That's it. Let's go.
00:41:29Wait. Did it work?
00:41:31We'll find out.
00:41:39Let's go.
00:41:52It didn't work.
00:41:57Who's gonna make it rain?
00:42:00Who's gonna make it rain?
00:42:03Who's gonna make it rain?
00:42:06Who's gonna come make a big rainfall?
00:42:09Well, maybe you is gonna make it rain.
00:42:14Rain. Rain.
00:42:18Rain. Rain.
00:42:21Rain. Rain.
00:42:28Aposcolipis vitalis, a poisonous lethal herb found in the wild.
00:42:32There. You're in.
00:42:33Cool. Thanks. I'll be quick.
00:42:35Is that a man in the library?
00:42:37I could tell you that.
00:42:41That's the church, right?
00:42:44Yeah, right.
00:42:45What's so special about it?
00:42:47Well, it's that baptistry.
00:42:48I mean, it's older than the rest of the church.
00:42:50It's, like, mission style.
00:42:52Is that bad?
00:42:53No, it's weird.
00:42:55I mean, I've been wondering how seawater could have flooded that room.
00:42:58You know, I mean, there's no sign of it anywhere else in the church.
00:43:01Seawater?
00:43:02Yeah, look.
00:43:03That's strange.
00:43:05I don't get it.
00:43:06Hmm.
00:43:09Well, that's it for today. I gotta go back to work.
00:43:18Thanks.
00:43:19Yeah, I have stuff to do for Sister Sherilyn.
00:43:34I'll see you later.
00:43:45Kelsey, maybe wait to see if it works.
00:43:47No, I gotta try out this Latin-English translation program sometime.
00:43:50Not now. Go, Faith.
00:43:55O Keeper of the Southern Gate, set forth thine path.
00:43:59Raise thy voice, O Demon Hail.
00:44:01He who guides us, we shall not fail.
00:44:04Accept now this pure offering.
00:44:06Show us thine power, that we may call thee forth.
00:44:12Well, what's the matter?
00:44:15What was that?
00:44:19I'm not sure, but I'd say we just opened the Southern Gate, guys.
00:44:27Okay, great. We gotta keep going.
00:44:29Friday's coming soon, and we have a lot to do.
00:44:31What's next?
00:44:33We gotta get down to the beach.
00:44:35Tonight? My girl, Frizz.
00:44:37No, she says that ocean water can only be made pure at the stroke of noon.
00:44:43But we need to get some things first.
00:44:45Um, so see if you can find the water spell.
00:44:49Okay.
00:44:58I think this is it.
00:44:59You think? That's not good enough.
00:45:01We can't afford to make any mistakes.
00:45:04Aren't we taking this just a little far?
00:45:07Do you have something better to do?
00:45:09Or should I say someone?
00:45:14Oh, come on.
00:45:15No, you come on.
00:45:17Look.
00:45:19Courage is the cardinal virtue.
00:45:21That's the first thing that Gertrude says.
00:45:23We're all willing to keep on going and find out what happens.
00:45:27All right. All right.
00:45:32Okay, so this is the fun part.
00:45:34Come on.
00:45:35Oils and bergamot will take the impurity out of seawater.
00:45:39Um, this?
00:45:41Then we need some candles.
00:45:42Lots of them to awaken the deep mind and unlock our powers.
00:45:50White clothing.
00:45:51Pure cotton or linen.
00:45:52The older the better, so it won't block the aura.
00:45:57Oh, wow.
00:46:01Mirrors. That's the big thing.
00:46:03They're important because the big final spell is the mirror spell.
00:46:06That's the one that brings us He Who Comes on Good Friday.
00:46:11And now we purify the ocean water,
00:46:13just like the girls did 100 years ago.
00:46:16The secret to fishing, girls,
00:46:19is to say three Hail Marys
00:46:22before you throw the line in the water.
00:46:47Show thy presence, O demon hail.
00:46:50Water from the southern gate, it burns.
00:46:52We shall not fail.
00:46:54Accept now this pure offering.
00:47:17Good.
00:47:21You got him.
00:47:32What do you think it'll be like if this thing really works?
00:47:34I don't know about you,
00:47:35but no one is ever going to tell me what I can or can't do again.
00:47:38Mm-hmm.
00:47:40Well, what's a maiden of virtue?
00:47:43Virgin.
00:47:44Well, this thing says we need one.
00:47:46I know that.
00:47:48Well, who?
00:47:52Slut.
00:47:55You know, He Who Comes must be vain.
00:47:57That's why we need all these mirrors for the spell.
00:47:59Well, maybe it's like mirrors help them along.
00:48:01What we really need is blood.
00:48:03Virgin blood.
00:48:08Hi, babe.
00:48:09Hey, babe.
00:48:10Mm.
00:48:12Geez, Erica, it's not like you have to drink it.
00:48:18Hey, babe.
00:48:26I'll meet you guys over there.
00:48:28That's okay, we'll wait.
00:48:30Ow!
00:48:32Work it out.
00:48:34Hey, Daniel.
00:48:35I don't think we can use the computer anymore.
00:48:38I really appreciate that.
00:48:39I really appreciate that.
00:48:42How about a flight after dinner?
00:48:45Sure, that sounds great.
00:48:47Ow!
00:48:48Hey.
00:48:49Work it out.
00:48:51Ow!
00:48:53Work it out.
00:48:57Ow!
00:49:10So, babe, how'd it go with Daniel?
00:49:12We have a date tonight.
00:49:14Oh, really?
00:49:15Yeah, it's at the library.
00:49:17It was my idea.
00:49:19Oh, gee, I have to go to the library myself, too, tonight.
00:49:23Jamie, stay out of this.
00:49:26I'm only looking out for you, okay?
00:49:28It's just in case he gets out of line,
00:49:30which he will, because I know his type.
00:49:32I don't need your advice.
00:49:34I just need to know what I'm doing.
00:49:36It's just in case he gets out of line, which he will,
00:49:38because I know his type.
00:49:40I don't need your help.
00:49:46Erica, drop it!
00:49:49Box Club Digitalis.
00:49:50You eat it, you die.
00:50:06Oof!
00:50:37Hi.
00:50:39I'm Erica.
00:50:42Faith sent me.
00:50:45She wants you to go up to her room.
00:50:47It's number 24 upstairs.
00:50:49Um, don't worry.
00:50:51None of the sisters are around.
00:50:53Come on.
00:50:56Come on.
00:50:57Come on.
00:50:58Come on.
00:50:59Come on.
00:51:00Come on.
00:51:01Come on.
00:51:02Come on.
00:51:03Come on.
00:51:04Come on.
00:51:06Thanks.
00:51:22Kelsey, hurry up.
00:51:23All right, all right.
00:51:30I've got to get there on time.
00:51:35Okay.
00:51:55Daniel?
00:52:03Come in.
00:52:05Faith?
00:52:08Faith?
00:52:09What's up?
00:52:10It's in the shower.
00:52:11Oh, sorry.
00:52:12No, no.
00:52:13She's running late.
00:52:14She said to wait.
00:52:15It's a thing.
00:52:19What are you guys doing?
00:52:21Um, just hanging out, I guess.
00:52:25Oh, my gosh.
00:52:26What are you doing?
00:52:27Oh, come on.
00:52:28Like you're not used to seeing a girl getting dressed?
00:52:30You have a little sizzle.
00:52:32Hey, listen.
00:52:33I know how that must have worked out.
00:52:35No, really.
00:52:36It's none of my business what you do.
00:52:38I was just sitting there.
00:52:39Look.
00:52:40I don't care.
00:52:41Faith.
00:52:42I don't care.
00:52:43I don't care.
00:52:44I don't care.
00:52:45I don't care.
00:52:46I don't care.
00:52:47I don't care.
00:52:48I don't care.
00:52:49I don't care.
00:52:50I don't care.
00:52:51I don't care.
00:52:52I don't care.
00:52:54I don't want to talk about it.
00:53:07I tried to tell you what kind of guy he was.
00:53:09So you decided to show me instead?
00:53:11What?
00:53:12It was all his fault.
00:53:13He yanked the towel off me and threw me on the bed.
00:53:15Why don't I believe you?
00:53:16Well, maybe it's because you think that he only wants you.
00:53:19How do you know he's not trying you with all the other girls in this school?
00:53:22I mean, he's a real smooth operator.
00:53:24All that stuff about Stanford University.
00:53:26Come on.
00:53:27You know that's just to get you hot for him.
00:53:29Quick.
00:53:30You've got to see this.
00:53:41No.
00:53:42Come on.
00:53:43Come on.
00:53:45What's the matter with you?
00:53:46Let's go.
00:53:47Come on.
00:53:53Come on.
00:54:01Salt.
00:54:23What's it say?
00:54:24The Lord's guardian warns all.
00:54:28What happened before will happen again.
00:54:31You mean there really is a guardian?
00:54:33A living, breathing person?
00:54:35Yeah.
00:54:36He sure means business.
00:54:37What happened before will happen again?
00:54:39What's up with that?
00:54:40I think he wants us to stop.
00:54:42Stop what?
00:54:43Stop what?
00:54:44Stop what?
00:54:45Stop what?
00:54:46Stop what?
00:54:47Stop what?
00:54:48Stop what?
00:54:49Stop what?
00:54:50Stop what?
00:54:51He wants us to stop.
00:54:53Then why would they leave us the book?
00:54:55Maybe it's a test.
00:54:57Maybe he wants to see if we can make the right choice.
00:55:01You know, he and the rest of them.
00:55:03I am sick of everyone telling us what to do and always testing us.
00:55:07Maybe the guardian knows something that we don't.
00:55:10This is not about the book.
00:55:11This is about them, the adults.
00:55:13They always think that they know better.
00:55:14And to be honest with you, I say to hell with them, okay?
00:55:17You know, I'd still really like to know who that guardian is.
00:55:19Well, I mean, the book said something about a mark.
00:55:22I mean, the bearer of the mark.
00:55:23That's what the book said, right?
00:55:31No problem.
00:55:33I know who the guardian is.
00:55:36Mother Clodagh.
00:55:38What do we have to be afraid of?
00:55:41An old lady with a bunch of crucifixes?
00:55:43So, what are you going to do?
00:55:46We are going to stop her.
00:55:52So, come on. Let's go.
00:55:54We have got a lot of things we need to get done.
00:55:57You know, my father already pays too much money for this school.
00:55:59My folks will yank me out of here so fast if I get in trouble.
00:56:03Give it up, Jamie.
00:56:11Hey, Kelsey.
00:56:13Can I use your computer just until tomorrow?
00:56:16I just have some work to do.
00:56:18Okay, sure. What for?
00:56:21Nothing special.
00:56:28Hey, Faith.
00:56:29Faith.
00:56:42What's going on, Faith?
00:56:44What do you mean?
00:56:47You don't seem like yourself.
00:56:51I'm fine.
00:56:53Really?
00:56:59Come on. Give me a hand.
00:57:01Yeah, sure.
00:57:05Tell me about your future plans.
00:57:08I want to go to Stanford.
00:57:11Just like my father.
00:57:16You loved him very much, didn't you?
00:57:20Yes.
00:57:21You're very mature, you know that?
00:57:23You can't fly yet, but you have wings.
00:57:26Now all you have to do is believe in the power of God.
00:57:29I'm trying, but it's hard for me.
00:57:32I know what you're going through.
00:57:34I've suffered too.
00:57:35I found my peace when I learned to forgive.
00:57:38You must forgive your mother for abandoning you.
00:57:41Faith, you must forgive your father for leaving you as well.
00:57:45Then you two will be at peace.
00:57:51Trust in our Lord.
00:58:09I brought you dinner.
00:58:11Yes. Would you be so kind?
00:58:38Thank you.
00:58:55You certainly have a lot of crucifixes in here.
00:59:09Kelsey, come. Join us now.
00:59:16What is your name?
00:59:18Faith.
00:59:20How lovely.
00:59:22Do you possess it?
00:59:25Do you know me, Faith?
00:59:28I'm trying.
00:59:30I didn't when I was your age.
00:59:35I wanted to.
00:59:36I expected to.
00:59:38But I didn't until I looked into the eyes of Jesus.
00:59:44So sad and beautiful.
01:00:00Who are these girls in the picture?
01:00:02The Illuminati.
01:00:05Faith, come. Join us now.
01:00:14Erica, come. Join us now.
01:00:23Gina, come. Join us now.
01:00:32Nicole, come. Join us now.
01:00:35Pray with me.
01:00:37The Lord is my light and salvation.
01:00:39Whom shall I fear?
01:00:41When the evildoers assail me to devour my flesh,
01:00:45they shall stumble and fall.
01:00:48Here is the expression of our faith.
01:00:54Do you believe?
01:01:03Do you want to procreate?
01:01:08Do you want to procreate?
01:01:10Do you want to procreate?
01:01:34Mother Clodagh!
01:01:36Mother Clodagh!
01:01:41Mother Clodagh!
01:01:47Mother Clodagh!
01:01:49Help me!
01:01:53Dinner is done.
01:01:55The Guardian is dead.
01:01:58The girls belong to us.
01:02:00The Guardian is dead.
01:02:07Round the back line, please.
01:02:13Looks like she had a heart attack, Father.
01:02:17Well, she's been having some problems for some time.
01:02:21I'm real sorry.
01:02:25Listen, Father, I talked to some of the lab boys
01:02:28and they said that they found a mark on that body
01:02:31that we took out of the church.
01:02:34A mark?
01:02:35Yeah, they didn't know what to make of it.
01:02:37Listen, if they fax me a photo,
01:02:39would you mind taking a look at it for me?
01:02:43Well, of course.
01:02:44All right.
01:02:49This is the calling, he who comes.
01:02:52We call thee fourth Lord of the spirits.
01:02:54Orem, tuum, spiremus, nobis ostenta,
01:02:59nos...
01:03:02presentia tua dignare.
01:03:05So your Latin got a lot better.
01:03:08Thank you. I've been doing my homework.
01:03:10I thought ignorance is bliss.
01:03:13What can I say? You helped me find the light.
01:03:15Knowledge is power.
01:03:17Welcome, faith.
01:03:19Join our circle.
01:03:20You're with friends now.
01:03:22You see, you're very popular around here.
01:03:25What have you done to them?
01:03:27Oh, my, my, my.
01:03:29What a crusader you are, a regular saint.
01:03:31You're playing with fire.
01:03:33This is serious.
01:03:34This has always been serious.
01:03:36You are just too scared to realize it.
01:03:38Well, I'm not scared anymore.
01:03:40Then join us.
01:03:43Look around you.
01:03:47Aren't you afraid for your souls?
01:03:49Look at yourself.
01:03:51You are not the devil's mistress,
01:03:53or you are a normal girl, just like I am.
01:04:01Run along, little girl.
01:04:02Wash your hands before you go to bed.
01:04:04Don't forget to say your catechisms,
01:04:05because Friday is tomorrow!
01:04:10Let's start over.
01:04:12Start again.
01:04:14Go.
01:04:20See who comes.
01:04:24We call thee forth.
01:04:27Let us know we are worthy of thy presence.
01:04:29We call thee forth.
01:04:32Let us know we are worthy of thy presence.
01:05:00Let us know we are worthy of thy presence.
01:05:10We give thee the sign.
01:05:13Which is purer,
01:05:14the form,
01:05:16the body, and the gift.
01:05:19Answer us with our words.
01:05:22Proceed.
01:05:30It didn't work.
01:05:43The book lights his way.
01:05:45The book lights his way.
01:05:59The book lights his way.
01:06:00The book lights his way.
01:06:28I just figured it out.
01:06:30What are you doing here?
01:06:35It's totally intense.
01:06:45Come here. I think I have an answer to this place.
01:06:47I've been in here all day and I think I got it.
01:07:00This is the way out. I mean, it took me a while, but I got it.
01:07:19Let's get the book.
01:07:21Okay. Here, go down there.
01:07:25The Illuminati must not have known about this. That's why they couldn't escape.
01:07:29What do you mean?
01:07:31A hundred years ago, when the room burned.
01:07:36Where is it?
01:07:54Where is it?
01:07:59We have to get the book! We have to find Faith! We have to kill the Guardian already!
01:08:11What? Okay, Faith, I give up. What is it?
01:08:15Do you believe a book can be evil?
01:08:17This book is a translation of ancient black magic spells and they really work.
01:08:24If you want to get rid of that thing, give it to me. Just give it to me.
01:08:39There! It's gone!
01:08:46That takes care of your book.
01:08:49So, unless the fish are into black magic...
01:08:54It's dry.
01:09:19I thought about the immensity of God, Father.
01:09:24And I think I have the answer.
01:09:27Jamie, what are you doing here?
01:09:30God's power is nothing compared to that of he who comes.
01:09:35Don't blaspheme.
01:09:49You are not the Devil's mistress.
01:09:52No?
01:09:56I could be yours, though.
01:09:59I pray for your eternal soul.
01:10:02Don't bother.
01:10:05I never had the chance to chat with the Lord's Guardian.
01:10:08There's just one thing I've got to know.
01:10:12How are you going to stop me?
01:10:14I'm sending you home.
01:10:20Look into my eyes, Father.
01:10:23Tell me all your secrets.
01:10:50The Lord's Guardian
01:11:00The Guardian is still alive.
01:11:12We can't go like that. It's leading to a very bad day.
01:11:19We've got to get this book to Father Michael.
01:11:33Let's go!
01:11:35The Lord's Guardian
01:11:49The Lord's Guardian
01:11:51The Lord's Guardian
01:12:06The Lord's Guardian
01:12:12Daniel?
01:12:14Daniel!
01:12:29Father Michael!
01:12:36911 emergency.
01:12:38You have to help me. We have to send the police to Santa Carlita right away.
01:12:41This is an emergency.
01:12:43You need to calm down, ma'am. I can't help you if I can't understand you.
01:12:47Listen to me. My friend is in danger, and he might be dead for all I know, and I might...
01:12:51Just hang on. Help will be there soon.
01:12:56Wait a sec.
01:12:58Thank you for calling.
01:13:00Hello? Hello?
01:13:05Hello?
01:13:35The Lord's Guardian
01:14:05The Lord's Guardian
01:14:14The book!
01:14:16I'm sorry.
01:14:18No, it's this. What happened before will happen again.
01:14:20The final marespare won't work without it. We've got to get this out of here.
01:14:23The book belongs to us.
01:14:35Go! Go!
01:14:40We're going to need some things.
01:14:42First of all, we're going to get salt.
01:14:45And then we must go to the church and get consecrated host.
01:14:48Wait! Daniel! We have to find Daniel!
01:14:51Don't worry about Prince Charming. Bless his virgin soul.
01:14:55He's got quite an experience ahead of him, and it will be his last.
01:14:59Book, please.
01:15:01The book belongs to us.
01:15:04You have no idea what you're doing.
01:15:06Whosoever releases the ancient one will know the powers of a god.
01:15:09The book belongs to us.
01:15:11The book lies.
01:15:13A thousand years ago, the ancient text was altered.
01:15:16The book belongs to us.
01:15:18How do you know so much about it?
01:15:30So at last.
01:15:35Nice dagger.
01:15:37Stop this right now.
01:15:39I don't want to hurt you.
01:15:41I don't want to hurt any of you.
01:15:47Tide apocalypse.
01:15:49Woe to the earth and the sea.
01:15:52For the devil comes down to you with great wrath
01:15:56because he knows his time is short.
01:16:00Stella marquis vera veniste.
01:16:04You think the mirror spell will bring you he who comes?
01:16:07You're wrong.
01:16:09Lucifer himself is stealing your souls.
01:16:12Look in the mirror. You'll see what I say is true.
01:16:16Sorry. I just don't believe you.
01:16:19My order has existed for thousands of years for one purpose.
01:16:23To turn back the devil from the dominion of God.
01:16:26Jamie, come live in the light.
01:16:37I'm way ahead of you.
01:16:45Jamie, no!
01:16:48No!
01:16:56No!
01:17:03The guardian is dead.
01:17:05Long live he who comes.
01:17:08What about faith?
01:17:10We don't need her. Come on, let's go.
01:17:12Now's a Friday.
01:17:27Behold he who comes.
01:17:30Greater than all before or after.
01:17:33Bring forth thy dark powers and let us look on thee.
01:17:38Bring forth thy dark powers and let us look on thee.
01:17:52Give us thy good powers.
01:17:57Give us the strength to fight.
01:18:03I offer thee the strength to fight.
01:18:09I offer you the power of one true God who compels you.
01:18:19I offer you the power of one true God who compels you.
01:18:32Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come

01:19:10on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come

01:19:25on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come
01:19:27But it did tear out what was left of the font in the chamber.
01:19:32So who knows.
01:19:35Maybe some other good little girls really did call the devil out from hell.
01:19:39That's my confession, Father.
