00:00We're back, we're back, we're back.
00:07I'm George Masi, this is George Masi Show.
00:09So we just watched Happily Ever After, the finale.
00:14And we're getting into this five-part tell-all where we get to watch them live in a house
00:18and there's all this drama.
00:20But I wanted to get into this last episode of the season so we can unpack that before
00:25we get into the—hi, everyone—before we get into the finale, where it kind of looked
00:34like Angela was kicking Michael out of the house.
00:37So I want to get into that, too, because I'm a little interested in, you know, your thoughts
00:41because we got a little more insight on Angela this episode and some stuff that she was withholding.
00:48Hey, hello.
00:49Long time no see.
00:50Right?
00:51I haven't seen you in a couple of hours.
00:53So we're waiting on Deedee, but this was an interesting finale, right?
00:57Like we watched some stuff happen with Manuel and Ashley, where we found out that he was
01:04actually using her money.
01:06Well, I don't know, we don't know why specifically.
01:08Oh, wait, Deedee's here, before we get started.
01:11Let's get Deedee in here, too, because I want to get into this Manuel and Ashley talk, too.
01:15And I feel like this was, you know, the most insight that Manuel has given.
01:19He's been very secretive.
01:20So howdy.
01:21Hi.
01:22Hey, sorry.
01:23Welcome.
01:24Oh my gosh, he done beat me.
01:25I was listening to the text, you're like, what time?
01:28Well, it was supposed to be 10, you know, I never, I can't do anything on time.
01:33It's just sometimes.
01:34You're always late, George.
01:35That's all right, though.
01:36But I want to get into this finale, though, because I know the tell-all is gonna supersede
01:44anything that happened tonight from the preview.
01:48What do you think about this Manuel and Ashley situation?
01:51Because we saw that Manuel said that he took $1,000 and he's been spending all the money
01:55for his bills in Ecuador.
01:57Now, Twitter seems to think his bills in Ecuador are another family, right?
02:03There's like kids, a wife, you know, something like that.
02:06He seems to think that we believe he's paying his credit card bills.
02:08So my question, if you're moving to another country, and you're never going back to that
02:13country, why the hell would you pay the credit card bills?
02:17Or am I crazy, right?
02:18If I knew I was leaving the U.S. and never coming back, I would leave all of my bills
02:22unpaid.
02:23Right?
02:24Like, what does it make sense to pay them?
02:25Can they extradite you back to the U.S. over a credit card bill?
02:28No.
02:29But exactly what you said, what Twitter said, what Ashley's mom said, he has another family
02:35here.
02:36Oh, wait, that's exactly what Didi and I said.
02:39Well, yeah.
02:40Well, you guys have been telling me that he has a family in the U.S.
02:44Do you think that he has multiple families?
02:46Because that's where I was gonna go.
02:48I was like, what if he does have kids in Ecuador?
02:50But what if he also has a wife and kids in the U.S.?
02:54Like what do you what?
02:56This whole situation is complex.
02:58I don't think his wife and kids are in Ecuador, man.
03:02Cara's been telling everybody from the get go.
03:05The lady that said that he says is his cousin.
03:09That's his wife.
03:10Yes.
03:11The kids that are in the background.
03:12Those are his children.
03:14So do you think he's sending money to Ecuador or you think he's just sending money to New
03:17York to these people?
03:18To his family?
03:19Yeah.
03:20And I think what's going on in New York.
03:24What's interesting is that Ashley can't seem to figure out the scam, right?
03:29Like she's trying to figure it out.
03:31Her mom figured it out pretty early on and her sister.
03:34Ashley's family.
03:35I'm going to go ahead and say they were born with the common sense that everyone doesn't
03:39have.
03:40Ashley was the one that was omitted from that common sense trait.
03:45She could have the information right in front of her.
03:47She can't process it.
03:49And her mom was just like, well, yeah, she's a clairvoyant witch, right?
03:55She actually has a website.
03:57I've been on it.
03:59where you can go on and pay her to tell you how to make better decisions through her gift
04:05of being able to see the future.
04:07And she doesn't even know what Manuel is doing with the money that she gives.
04:10Also, guys, you can send me money and I'll tell you exactly what you need to do to have
04:17a better life.
04:18Once I get my life figured out.
04:21Well, right.
04:22Like, you know how you see your therapist in public and they're like doing something
04:28crazy and you're thinking like, oh, my God, this is the person that I've been taking advice
04:32from.
04:33You know, like because you see your therapist and you're leaving the grocery store and they're
04:36getting arrested or something.
04:38You're just like, whoa, what's going on here?
04:41Like they're shoplifting from the Target and you're like, what is happening here?
04:44That's kind of how I feel.
04:45It's the blind leading the blind.
04:47Like Ashley has convinced people online because remember, she said that she had to protect
04:51her business because once it becomes a million dollar company, she has to make sure that
04:56Manuel can't take that million dollar business from her.
04:59High expectations for a woman who didn't predict it rained in hurricane season in Tampa, Florida,
05:05right?
05:06Yeah.
05:07Yeah.
05:08Oh, that woman is not no witch.
05:09She ain't no clairvoyant.
05:11She is delusional.
05:12I didn't tell y'all.
05:13Y'all want to y'all want to have a good witch?
05:16My friend's a witch.
05:17How many times I got to tell y'all that?
05:20I'm scared.
05:21I'm scared.
05:22I'm scared.
05:23I'm scared.
05:24I'm being scared.
05:25As long as you don't do nothing wrong to them, they won't do nothing to you.
05:28Well, I'm scared that I piss somebody off and then they get a witch to like curse me
05:33or something like that.
05:34So I'm terrified of right like I say something someone doesn't like this has happened before,
05:39right?
05:40And somebody gets somebody gets a witch to curse me or something and then I'm like, trying
05:44to everything everything that I try to accomplish goes wrong and I can't figure out why and
05:49it's because I'm cursed, right?
05:51Oh, I want to talk about Gino and Jasmine because it kind of looked like they were breaking
05:55up on this episode.
05:56They were sleeping in different hotel rooms.
05:58And we found out that Gino had filed 80% of her paperwork and there's like, I'm assuming
06:04one or two documents something left for him to file and she's pissed off and he said he
06:09was like, you can go back to Panama now and just leave.
06:14You don't have to come back and I can rid you from my life altogether.
06:16And it's like, who is this man?
06:19Who is this Gino?
06:21He is literally done a 360 like I remember from when she ripped the head off of his head
06:27and was throwing things at him and screaming at him and he was literally scared of her
06:30to he is like, she's like, get out of this room.
06:33He's like, nah, you can get out of this room.
06:35He was like, like, who is this guy like he has this newfound self respect and confidence
06:40and I think that years of dealing with someone being so negative towards you, right and being
06:46so degrading towards you and so mean towards you, I think it builds that up.
06:50And he realized that, what am I doing in this relationship, they don't have sex, no matter
06:55what he does, because the one thing I noticed today, no matter what Gino does, it always
07:00falls short of her expectations.
07:01Because he's like, well, what about all the things that I've done right?
07:05What about and she always finds something that he could have done better.
07:07You know, when you go for your performance review at work, and you know, you're doing
07:12a good job, you know that there's an employee at your job that is way worse off than you.
07:15But for some reason, your manager finds a paragraph of things you could do better and
07:19you're looking like, really?
07:20Yeah, yeah.
07:21Really?
07:22If it wasn't for me, this place would literally go up in flames, but you're gonna tell me
07:27and I kind of feel like that's how Gino feels.
07:29He's like, I get it.
07:31It is difficult.
07:32I do like to sympathize and have a little empathy with her because she did leave her
07:36kids in her life overseas.
07:39But like Gino said, if you really wanted to go back and see your kids, if you really wanted
07:43that, I'm not stopping you.
07:44You know, so it's
07:45I don't sympathize with the choice she made.
07:48She made that choice.
07:50Nobody made that choice for her.
07:52Right, right.
07:53She decided
07:54George, we're gonna we're gonna agree to disagree on this because first of all, first of all,
08:00she don't even care about her children, because if she cared about her children, she would
08:05have fought to have custody of her children.
08:07She don't even have custody of her children.
08:10And then the only thing the only one that she supposedly was supposedly have anything
08:16to do with what's her little boy that she had on TV, which I don't even think is really
08:22her son.
08:23And then I think it was just like, someone that she just wanted to put in there.
08:28I don't think that that's her son.
08:31I do think that her sister is her daughter, though.
08:35I do think that she only has one boy, I send it to George, I'll send it to you.
08:40But wait, one, what about one say is that the one that was on the show?
08:44Is that her son?
08:45Hold on, I gotta find it.
08:46I don't think because I don't think that's her son.
08:52I really don't.
08:53I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
08:57No, leading up to this situation where they're going to end up right, like there's three
09:01couples on this season of Happily Ever After that are going to end up on the last resort.
09:06And for those of you who didn't know, sorry, spoiler alert.
09:09There are three couples on this season that are going to end up on the last resort.
09:13And for this Gino and Jasmine situation, you know, we've been hearing a lot of different
09:18information like I heard from Shibuti on one of our Twitter spaces that Jasmine's new man,
09:27the woman that Gino was photographed with is actually the new man's ex-girlfriend.
09:33So it's kind of like they did a little swap.
09:35Now, Gino is very vocal on saying that it's nothing but a platonic friendship.
09:41Like they are bonding over the fact that their spouses left each other for each other.
09:47It's nothing specifically like, oh, my God, I'm going to be with you now.
09:51What do you guys think about that?
09:53Like the woman, you've seen the pictures, right?
09:55They were floating around.
09:56It was Gino and this pretty, pretty dark haired woman, right?
09:58She's pretty.
09:59She's beautiful.
10:00This is the guy that Jasmine is with now.
10:03This was his ex-girlfriend.
10:06So they kind of found each other.
10:08I think we'll find out on the single life.
10:10So, well, yeah, we have heard that they are filming that.
10:15And if you didn't, sorry, spoiler again.
10:18Yeah, but separately, separately.
10:21So we are, because they use them too frequently on too many different seasons to let them
10:27just break up and just be done with the franchise.
10:30They've invested too much time and money into this.
10:32Guys, remember, they went on before the 90 Days and then immediately 90 Day Fiancé,
10:36then immediately Happily Ever After.
10:38We barely got a break in between.
10:40And Jasmine has been on almost the same amount of seasons as Emily and like in such a short
10:46amount of time, Jovi and Yara, like they've really built this up.
10:51And also Big Ed, you know, we've heard that Big Ed is going to be on the single life,
10:55which no one wants.
10:56But again, the network has put so much time and money into building up this name.
11:01And he's still-
11:02Are we going to be able to see him?
11:05I mean, you're not going to traumatize us, are you, George?
11:09Well, this is information that has been leaked that he's going to be on it.
11:15And oh, and Ashley and Manuel are going to be on The Last Resort.
11:19And Gino and Jasmine, as well as Sophie and Rob.
11:23And what did you guys think of the interaction between Sophie and Rob?
11:25So Rob broke up with her, he left, he gets in the car, he drives away, he gets a call
11:30from Sophie, he's halfway back home and she wants him to come back.
11:33But when he gets there, he's like, well, what do you want?
11:36Why am I here?
11:37And she just starts screaming at him.
11:39And she's like, well, I just keep giving you chances.
11:41So what does it mean that she's giving him chances?
11:44She gave him a chance, right?
11:45And then they got married, she found out that he was online cheating, and she moved
11:50out.
11:51And then she's like, I keep giving you chances.
11:53And what does that mean?
11:55Because she's living separate from him for over a year.
11:58They don't have any communication.
11:59He's spending birthdays without her.
12:01He's doing everything without her.
12:02And I'm trying to understand what she wants.
12:05You ever heard that saying, getting a straight answer out of a 22 year old girl is impossible?
12:10That saying is very, very accurate when it comes to Sophie.
12:13Because even when Rob asked, well, what do you want?
12:16When Kay asked, what do you want?
12:18She doesn't know what she wants.
12:19I've never gotten a real answer out of what Sophie wants.
12:21She just keeps saying, well, I don't know.
12:23I don't know.
12:24I don't know.
12:25And it's, how do you manage to be married to someone that she wants her Kay and eat
12:31it too?
12:33Does she really believe that he's going to just live separately from her and not date
12:37around and let her do whatever she wants?
12:40What world is this?
12:42What universe do people do that?
12:44That's why she's saying, I should have been the one to break up with you, blah, blah,
12:48blah.
12:49She is absolutely upset that he cut ties, that he's done.
12:55He should have done this.
12:56She's been gone for a year.
12:58He should have done this eight, nine, 10 months ago.
13:01Like if you decide to separate, separation is the first step to divorce.
13:05They've been separated for a year.
13:07And not only that, she's bisexual and living with a girl that's clearly in love with her.
13:11She's clearly in another relationship.
13:13Like Rob should have had his big boy pants on and divorced her a month after she left.
13:18Like, look, if you don't want to come back and try to work out this relationship, what
13:23are we doing other than you're using me to stay in this country and live a completely
13:27separate life than me?
13:29Because that's literally what she's doing.
13:30She's living a, when he went over to break up with her, did you notice in the scene,
13:34he was like, I'm not even a hundred percent sure which apartment she lives in.
13:37He wasn't sure.
13:38Like, can you imagine you're married to somebody for over a year and you don't even know where
13:42they live?
13:43Yeah.
13:44What the hell is that?
13:45Can you imagine getting your squishmallow thrown back in your face?
13:50Well, she wanted it apparently.
13:54She wanted it back, which I thought was funny because I was like, well, you don't want him,
13:58but you want the squishmallow.
13:59It's like, you don't want him.
14:00You want the green card.
14:02It's so funny because when we started out with them, I couldn't stand Rob.
14:06Yeah.
14:07I really couldn't stand Rob.
14:08I actually got to meet him this past week in LA and he's nothing like what I thought,
14:14but like watching this relationship unfold and seeing what Sophie was really doing to
14:19him.
14:20I feel so much better knowing that I see him differently and I've stopped being so judgmental
14:28towards him because I really thought I knew what was going on with him and their relationship
14:32and then watching what he went through and then watching the way that she treated him
14:36and then thought that she could live a separate life from him and use him.
14:40And then the whole thing just blew my mind and I'm just really happy to, he's getting
14:46his vindication, right?
14:47Because when we met, I was like, are you happy that you're finally getting your vindication?
14:52People are seeing you for who you really are.
14:53And he was like, it feels nice to have people think positive things about you for a change.
14:58He's like, for over a year, everyone just hated me.
15:00And I was like, yeah, I did too.
15:01I hated you.
15:02And I was like, but now I really do see that you went through a lot of shit with her.
15:07It wasn't that you were this horrible, lying, cheating piece of garbage that she describes.
15:11She's a pretty awful person too, right?
15:14I'm beginning to see that now.
15:16Also, there's a reason why she got upset is because she was wanting to hold on to him
15:23for so long because she knew that if he left her, if they got divorced, that she wouldn't
15:27get her green card.
15:29So she was stringing him along.
15:31And then once she found out that he was done with everything, that's whenever she started
15:38losing it because she was no longer in control.
15:41It was okay while she was in control.
15:43But once she lost that control, then she got mad.
15:47Well, mad in the form of fake tears.
15:50She started crying like this.
15:52She was so hurt.
15:53And she was like, how could you leave me?
15:55I should be the one to leave you.
15:56And I was like, well, you did leave him a year ago.
15:59Yeah, that's literally what you did.
16:01You left him.
16:02He's just finishing the job, right?
16:04You left him.
16:05The only thing left to do is to end it on paper because he's been alone for literally
16:10a year.
16:11He's not been in a relationship.
16:12And then you made him feel like if he was to be in a relationship, he's doing something
16:16wrong.
16:17Right.
16:18Also, who's going to break it to her that you don't get a throat infection from stress?
16:24Oh, no.
16:27You get a...
16:28No, I almost said what I...
16:30Yeah, I'm not going to say that on this.
16:33But yes, I know where you get those.
16:35I haven't had one.
16:36But I know what she's been doing.
16:37Well, yeah, I know what she's been doing.
16:41I know what she's been doing.
16:43And it's very interesting to me that she thinks that she's the stressed out person in this
16:48situation.
16:49Right?
16:50I mean, I get it.
16:51She's worried about the status of her green card because let's be realistic.
16:53Do you think Rob has been working on her paperwork while she's been gone for the last year?
16:59Absolutely not.
17:00If he has, he's stupid.
17:01If he has, he's stupid.
17:02Right?
17:03You have to be an idiot.
17:04If she left you a month after y'all got married and never came back, you could possibly be
17:08sending in any type of paperwork to adjust her status.
17:11I would literally call and tell them to come get her.
17:13Like, look, I don't know her.
17:15She belongs to the streets.
17:16I don't even know where she stay.
17:17Y'all should come get her.
17:18I have nothing to do with that mistake.
17:19I agree.
17:20So Michael and Angela, right?
17:24So we're watching their Christmas and everything, and we find out that Angela broke the phone.
17:29So after that huge confrontation in Nigeria with the Paradise Boys and everything she
17:35found on the phone, she asked him to delete the group chat or the group.
17:40I don't know if it was a Facebook.
17:41It was a Facebook group.
17:42Right?
17:43So she asked him to delete the Facebook group.
17:44He says he did.
17:45He's still getting notifications.
17:46You and I, all of us know that if you remove yourself from a Facebook group, you will not
17:51get notifications from it anymore.
17:53So he did not delete notifications or leave the group.
17:57So she destroys his phone and thinks that everything is good.
18:00And I'm thinking, he could just re, what do you call it, activate a new phone and sign
18:06into all of the apps that he used to have.
18:09Absolutely.
18:10So in my opinion, Angela is helping Michael scam her.
18:15Because she still brought him over here knowing that he lied to her, literally right before
18:20they left and came from the Ivy Coast to Hazlehurst.
18:23And now they're to this point where she wants to have a private investigator, which Riley
18:28would have told her from the very start, it's the first thing you do, you need to figure
18:32out what's going on.
18:34And Skyla's actually in the dark with all of this.
18:37So Angela is really interesting because she keeps saying that she's the victim, but she's
18:43withholding information.
18:44Because Skyla's sitting there learning the information with the private investigator.
18:49But she's like, well, you didn't tell me there was a woman named Cheetah, and you didn't
18:52tell me about the app on the phone, and you didn't tell me.
18:55And it's like, she's protecting Michael, and I'm trying to understand, why are you protecting
18:59someone that you know is doing shady shit to you?
19:04And I get it, seven years, $30,000 worth of, you know, this is the whole all in cost, right?
19:11She purchased a decent SUV in the form of Michael.
19:15I get it.
19:16She wanted to hold on to that.
19:17But it's like, now that you brought him here, you kind of screwed yourself over, right?
19:21Like now that he's here, and you know, once they get here, and he's on a spousal, this
19:25isn't a K-1, they're already married.
19:28So once he gets here, and his feet touches the soil, he's not obligated to leave.
19:33There's no annulment.
19:35There's no rejection of the visa.
19:37He's here.
19:38And I feel like she set herself up and put herself in this situation, and now she screwed
19:43herself over.
19:44And even Skyla was looking at her like, you did this.
19:48All you had to do was leave his ass where he was at, and none of this.
19:51And oh, and at the tell all, there's 189 page report.
19:56So I wanted to get your thoughts on that.
19:58What do you think that there was 189 pages worth of stuff that they found on Michael
20:02online?
20:03What is this?
20:05Because remember, Michael wasn't even allowed online.
20:09So apparently, Michael was online, because there's 189 pages.
20:13And I'm thinking like, that's longer than Shekinah's love letter.
20:16That's a lot of shit, right?
20:17Like, that is a lot of stuff.
20:19So I'm thinking, and he didn't say it was a criminal record.
20:22He just said this was like usernames, activity on, he said the dark web, the gray, I didn't
20:28even know there was a gray web, apparently there's a gray web.
20:30So he said that he could find everything, anything that touched the internet that originated
20:35from Michael, he found.
20:37So what do you guys think Michael was doing online?
20:41Because we know that the Paradise Boys was where they were pairing other Nigerian men
20:45with American women.
20:46Do you think he was actually running the marriage thing that Lidia was, that Chantel's mom was
20:53accusing Lidia of running?
20:55Like he was literally actually pairing American women with Nigerian men?
21:00I hope so.
21:02I hope he's got his pockets full of money, so that he can live a super happy life once
21:07he gets here.
21:09Because man, if anybody deserves a freaking green card, it's him.
21:13Seven years.
21:14Right?
21:15Seven years.
21:16Yeah.
21:17At this point, not.
21:18I'm just ready to apply for a spousal visa with him.
21:21It's funny because Michael plays like he's not the smartest tool in the shed.
21:27I'm beginning to think Michael is way more smarter than we give him credit for.
21:34He deserves to have a good life over here.
21:37Because at the end of the day, I mean, whether I don't think in the beginning, to be honest
21:43with you, I don't well, let me rephrase what I'm fixing to say.
21:48I think it was all a scam from the beginning.
21:51But I think over time, he did start or did fall in love with Angela.
21:57But then when Angela turned on him the way she did, then that's when he got even more
22:03into his scam that he was doing.
22:07I mean, because we've always said from the get go that he's scamming her.
22:11You know what I'm saying?
22:12Yeah, that has been the consensus.
22:14Do you think that it shifted when she got her surgery?
22:17People online think that when Angela changed her, they said that her inner self changed
22:23too.
22:24So do you think that maybe the love that he had for her changed when because you know,
22:28when she when she got snatched, her attitude changed a lot.
22:31I mean, I don't know if I'd go as far as snatch.
22:35Well, she attempted she attempted to get snatched, right?
22:39When she got the surgery, and she started receiving all of that money from TLC, and
22:44she got the surgery, she let it go to her head.
22:47I've said this before, and many I mean, and just about every one of our podcasts when
22:53it comes to them.
22:54She was not this part.
22:55I mean, she's always had a ugly side to her.
22:58We've seen her on the Mari show, we've seen her on this other stuff.
23:01But she really once she got that surgery, and once she started getting all that TLC money,
23:07and I'm not going to say she's famous, because she's not famous.
23:11But whenever she got into the public eye the way she did, she let it go to her house.
23:16And that her house, her head, I'm sorry.
23:19And that's when she she just started like, bullying him.
23:24And I think he lost their respect and love he did have for her at that time.
23:31And that's whenever the scamming really started.
23:34But also, I feel like when they got married, and when they did the show, this is a partnership
23:41now, right?
23:42We're together, we're married, what's yours is mine, what's mine is yours kind of thing.
23:47Well, then Angela takes money and goes and gets all these surgeries that he begs her
23:51not to.
23:52So he had to recoup some of his funds somehow, right?
23:55So,
23:56True.
23:57True.
23:58They were married and she did still treat her money as her money.
24:04I do remember that because he she was making decisions because he was like, don't you feel
24:08like you doing all of this should be something that we discuss as a couple, because we're
24:12married and she looked at it as it's my money.
24:14I can do whatever I want.
24:16And I think that that's kind of probably where the shift started.
24:19Like you said, it's possible that he started out in love with her.
24:24It's very possible because seven years is a long time to commit to a scam, right?
24:28That's a really long time.
24:29The payoff took that long.
24:32So I think maybe when she changed, it was easier for him to scam her because he didn't
24:36like the person she had become.
24:39Yeah.
24:40And it was just easier.
24:41He's like, well, I don't like you anymore, but I like what I can get from this situation.
24:45So I'm going to stick with it.
24:47And I think that's probably the shift.
24:49Because everybody keeps saying even after her surgery, they were like, she was prettier
24:54before.
24:56And I think they mean like as a full human being as a full like outer and inner.
25:01She was funny.
25:02She was always telling jokes.
25:03She was happy.
25:04She was giddy.
25:05And now if you notice, every time we encounter her, she's angry and irritable.
25:11And she's not the same person that we met on that first season.
25:16She was just giddy all the time and just happy and excited.
25:19And I just remember her excitement going over to Nigeria and seeing him.
25:24And now when she sees him, she's side eyeing him all the time.
25:27It's just it's a different vibe and relationship.
25:30I also want to touch base on her house.
25:35You have five kids that are all perfectly capable of picking up after themselves and
25:42or cleaning something, plus an adult woman.
25:45Why does that house look like that?
25:50I was shocked.
25:51And she has decent income from the show.
25:54You know, there's this one app that you can like have a housekeeper come to your house
25:58like once a week.
25:59It's like 50 or 60 dollars.
26:00It's not even expensive.
26:01And they just come and do like minor cleaning because you're right.
26:04There's a lot of people.
26:05They're all able bodied, all old enough to do chores.
26:09Right.
26:10When I was a kid, we did chores.
26:11We didn't just lay around the house.
26:12You know, we loaded dishwashers, we unloaded, we folded clothes, we swept.
26:17We took out trash.
26:18Like when I was growing up, we did things around the house and to see the way that her
26:22house looks with all those people in it, like all these people who could be putting in work.
26:27It's kind of strange.
26:28And the way that she had Michael doing laundry, I was like, does she think Michael's the housekeeper?
26:32Because I was like, because she was like, Michael, you can help clean my room and you
26:36can do it.
26:37And I'm like, he's not the housekeeper.
26:38That's your husband.
26:39Imagine how everything in that house has to smell like cigarettes, everything, those kids
26:44clothes, everything.
26:46Yeah.
26:47And her car.
26:48Did you see she was smoking in the car?
26:49Yeah, smoking in the car.
26:50The car was so small.
26:54With all them grandkids, how you got a car that small?
26:59Where do they go?
27:00I'm so confused.
27:01Like the whole thing was very confusing for me.
27:03Well, she said she told Michael to wash, dry and then fold.
27:09Well, from the looks of it, she hasn't been washing, drying and folding.
27:16She was just throwing clothes everywhere.
27:18I mean, she said it was from packing, but she was just kind of just tossing stuff everywhere,
27:24Okay, I want to talk about Emily, because Emily is pregnant with baby number three,
27:29which we already know, because baby number three is here, right?
27:33So we know this, but it's Atum.
27:36But she told her mom and dad, and they did not welcome this information happily, because
27:42for the last five years, they've been housing Emily and Kobe and Coben and Scarlett.
27:47And, you know, out of the grace of their heart, they're good people.
27:52And they've given them every opportunity for success.
27:54And I think that's every parent's job, right?
27:57Your job is to set up your children for the best possible opportunity for success, whatever
28:02means necessary, right?
28:04Like, as long as you give them all the tools that they need, so they can make that leap.
28:09And they're just wondering, when is the leap going to happen, right?
28:12So Emily is approved for a house, but she's looking for like, the house.
28:18And Kobe looks at it as, if it's got a roof and a toilet and a sink, we're good to go,
28:24right?
28:25And Emily's more like, I want my house to be my forever home or my happy place or something
28:30that my children will enjoy, which I feel both sides of that.
28:35It took me over a year to find my house, right?
28:37Like I saw my realtor wanting nothing to do with me, right?
28:40They would just show me things and I'm like, no, no, and it took me over a year.
28:45So I get that.
28:47But when you're living in your parents' basement and their one request is, hey, do not have
28:52another child in my house, and you do it twice, you know, even, because Kobe seemed more worried
28:57about it.
28:58He was like, we can't have another child in these people's house, because Emily was just
29:01like, you know, whatever, what are they going to do, kick me out?
29:05They might, right?
29:06At this point, they might, like, they're definitely at their wit's end.
29:09And I feel like Emily might be the one to push the envelope too far, right?
29:14Like I feel like she would stay there forever.
29:18And I think her parents are a little bit of an enabler, because they've made it such a
29:23easy life for her not to try to do anything on her own, I feel like, because I get it.
29:30They're like, oh, well, we love her and we would never kick her out.
29:33Sometimes a little bit of tough love and an ultimatum, or like, pay me rent, you know,
29:39sometimes those are the things needed to put that fire under people.
29:42And I feel like Emily, if Emily couldn't convince Kobe to not want to leave, they would
29:47still be there right now, right?
29:49Kudos to Kobe for staying respectful to her parents and not just automatically siding
29:55with Emily the way she wanted.
29:57Well, it fits the role.
29:58Yeah.
29:59He handled it well.
30:00He stayed respectful to the parents.
30:02He's holding true to his promise.
30:04He's trying to do all the right things.
30:06But in Emily's defense, she's got pregnancy brain, she's got pregnancy hormones.
30:11We're lucky she's not crying through the whole damn show.
30:13I mean, good on her.
30:15See, that's a good point.
30:17When a woman is pregnant, her feelings and everything are so elevated and unstable, right?
30:22So yelling at a woman who's pregnant, be like, you need to buy a house and move out.
30:27That's a lot to put on someone who's already going through a lot.
30:29She's also a mother of two, right?
30:31Kobe works full time.
30:33So there's a lot going on in her mind that a lot of people don't see.
30:38She probably also deep down might actually feel a little bad for the situation.
30:43She will never admit it because she's Emily.
30:45But she might actually feel bad.
30:47Yeah, she might actually be embarrassed.
30:50She's 32.
30:51If I was living with my parents when I was 32, I would feel a little bad.
30:54Well, right.
30:55I think deep down she does.
30:56And I think that's why she got like such an attitude towards the end where she had to
31:00walk out.
31:01Because she kept saying like, I've told y'all I want to move out.
31:04I got approved already.
31:05I think the pressure of them making her feel like, well, you should have done this already.
31:10I think it got to her, you know, because I think in the back of her mind, she does feel
31:14like they're right.
31:15I probably should have left four years ago.
31:17Right.
31:18And, you know, I don't believe in kicking people while they're down.
31:21Like she was already down.
31:22Like she was down for the count.
31:23And then her parents kind of kept digging.
31:25They were like, we might have to give you an ultimatum and we might have to push.
31:29She gets it.
31:30But I do understand that they don't want to have her at 42 with five kids.
31:34Right.
31:35Basement.
31:36Right.
31:37So at some point, you do have to put your foot down.
31:39Spoiler alert, though, I saw pictures of their new house.
31:43Beautiful.
31:44Yeah.
31:45Very, very nice.
31:46Humongous.
31:47I don't know if y'all saw the pictures.
31:48One of the bloggers posted the inside of the house.
31:51Three hundred and eleven thousand dollars.
31:54Beautiful place, though.
31:55So I believe, if I'm not mistaken, we're going to get to see those pictures on the tell all.
32:00They're going to talk about it.
32:01Nice.
32:02I'm happy.
32:04For them.
32:05Right.
32:06I feel like they they're very respectful of the space, like some people take advantage
32:09of it.
32:10And I feel like they've been very respectful of the opportunity that they were given.
32:15Right.
32:16Like they didn't.
32:17And when they see that they're welcome was beginning to be worn out, that's when they
32:20took action.
32:21And that's all that you can really ask for.
32:22Right.
32:23Like your your parents are never going to tell you, get the hell out of my house.
32:26But there will be signs.
32:27All right.
32:28Right.
32:29There will be signs that they read those signs and they were respectful about it.
32:32So I respect them.
32:34So I think Emily, she takes on a lot being a mom, a stay at home mom of three little
32:38tiny kids.
32:39It reminds me a lot of Lauren's situation.
32:41I don't envy that.
32:43Right.
32:44Like I'm not trying I'm not trying to make fun of her in any way.
32:46I feel like she's got a lot.
32:48And she also has to deal with her parents being in the house.
32:51I would have I don't know, I would get on a spaceship and go to another planet if I
32:55had to live with my mom.
32:57My mom is an amazing person, but living together, it never worked.
33:02I had to move.
33:03I was 18, I think when I got my first apartment, because she's just a very overbearing, controlling,
33:09you know, it's just not like walk in your room without knocking like just just a lot
33:14to me.
33:15So I respect Emily to the utmost that she was able to live there and stay respectful
33:20of them and their space.
33:22Yeah.
33:23I agree.
33:26So Alessi's birthday party finally happened.
33:28I kind of forgot about it.
33:30Because it all of the drama that happened up coming to that, but we finally got a birthday
33:35party.
33:36This was a six month party, they said.
33:37Oh, was that what that was?
33:38I thought it was her second birthday party.
33:39So this was like a half birthday.
33:40He said something about a six month party.
33:41Oh, thanks for the badge, Donna.
33:42You don't have to do that.
33:43Well, that party was nicer than my party.
33:44So Alessi is definitely in a good family.
33:45So I was happy to see them actually having the party and getting along because I felt
34:14like there was so much drama between the families.
34:17But the best part was this conversation that Patrick had with his dad.
34:25And he had that serious conversation about, you know, you weren't there for me.
34:29And I've really, really been hurting about it and he cried and his dad actually apologized.
34:35And I feel like it was a nice moment because Patrick's dad said, you know, with or without
34:41the apartment, I think it's really important that, you know, our relationship is our relationship
34:48and it's not going to change.
34:49And I thought that that was really important.
34:51And, you know, Patrick said his whole life that his dad never apologized for not being
34:56there.
34:57And I think that was important.
34:58So I feel like that conversation was so overdue.
35:00It lost all of its meaning to me when he said, I didn't have my dad either.
35:06So what?
35:07That doesn't that tell you to do things differently?
35:12Don't we?
35:13Don't we do things differently than the way we were raised?
35:15We see what was wrong when we were raised.
35:19So we try to correct that in raising our children.
35:22I that that comment by itself just really, it took well, I think that pisses me off.
35:30That pisses me off whenever people say, well, I didn't have, you know, I'm treating my children
35:36this way because I didn't have my parents growing up.
35:39You know what I'm saying?
35:41Well, so what?
35:42I mean, like you just said, Cara, you know, if you don't have your parents, whenever you're
35:47growing up, you need to be you need to try to be a better parent than what you had.
35:52I mean, I'm so sick and tired of hearing that bullshit all the time talking about, well,
35:56I didn't have my parents or well, I didn't, you know, well, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't.
36:01So what?
36:02You got to you got to break the you got to break that what do you call that generational
36:07curse that you got?
36:08You know what I'm saying?
36:09So I mean, that right there pissed me off.
36:13So what?
36:14I mean, that man don't even care about Patrick to be at the end of the day.
36:18That man does not love his son.
36:19The only thing he sees is dollar signs.
36:22That's it.
36:23He was sitting there emotionalist, like it didn't even bother him.
36:28And then he had the audacity to say, well, I didn't even have my dad.
36:31Like, seriously?
36:32Yep, it took all the all the warm hearted fuzziness away.
36:38Completely.
36:39That man is using Patrick, he is using him for money.
36:46He said it, he was like, I can't really make it without the money that you give the expense
36:53for my expenses.
36:54And I'm thinking like, your expenses are not his responsibility.
36:57And I hate that Patrick is so emotionally attached to having him in his life, because
37:05he's always going to accept the fact that in order for me to keep him in my life, I
37:09have to fund whatever he wants me to fund to keep that relationship going.
37:14And I feel like Patrick is, you know, again, I keep bringing this up, he had lost his mother
37:18three months before when this started filming.
37:22So he has, and the mother is the parent that raised him.
37:26So the father was a parent that wasn't there.
37:28So he's clinging on to his next parent.
37:32And without his dad, he's alone in the world, right?
37:35And only people who've lost both parents will understand what it means to be alone.
37:39And that feeling, it's a feeling that you can never break, you can't shake that feeling.
37:44It's just knowing that everyone that made you who you are is not there.
37:49And I feel like he's so emotionally attached to keeping him there.
37:55He doesn't care about the apartment, he doesn't care about the money, he doesn't care about
37:59whatever he asks.
38:00He's always got to do whatever he can to preserve that relationship, when that relationship
38:05should be free.
38:06It should be a relationship that he wants, his dad wants to have with him, but his dad
38:10doesn't want to have a relationship with him.
38:11Yeah.
38:12Because he was like, Oh, you're my son.
38:13I love you.
38:14I was like, why is this the first time you're saying that to him?
38:16Yeah.
38:17A child is not a child's place to beg a father or a mother to want to have something to do
38:25with them.
38:26It's not a child's place.
38:28It is a parent's place to do anything and everything they can for their child, move
38:33mountains for them if possible.
38:35You know what I'm saying?
38:36So why is that fair to Patrick, that Patrick is having to beg his dad or do things financially
38:44for his dad for his dad even want to have to do want to have anything to do with him.
38:48If he was not paying him rent, if he was not giving him money, that man wouldn't have anything
38:53to do with Patrick.
38:54And that's very sad.
38:55Oh, yeah.
38:56Yeah, that's exactly what john tried to say.
38:59He was like, you do realize, if you didn't have any money, if you couldn't help him financially,
39:05this relationship wouldn't exist.
39:06So you know, he's like, No, we built this bond, the bond was, you know, around the apartment.
39:12And it's like, no, john is 100%.
39:14Right?
39:15When his dad realized that Patrick was well off on TV, you know, he had he could bring
39:20a lot to this happens a lot.
39:22How many times have I watched a reality show, where the person will tell us talk about how
39:26they have a distant parent, absent parent, and then all of a sudden, during filming,
39:31that parent pops up and they want to be in there.
39:34Remember Sam, Sam and Citra?
39:36Yeah, Sam and Citra.
39:38He was like, Oh, my mom was never in my life.
39:40She wasn't around.
39:41But then when those cameras showed up, yeah, she was ready to come to the wedding.
39:45She was ready to take Citra wedding dress shopping.
39:48She was ready to be a part of that opportunity.
39:51Your children are not opportunities, guys, like, regard if your child has no money, homeless,
39:58or they have a million dollars, you should love them be exact same, and expect nothing,
40:03right?
40:04Like, I, it really boggles me these parents that believe, you know, they're my child as
40:10long as there's something in it for me.
40:13And it's like, who's raising parents to believe that, you know, you can have a child and then
40:17just shoo them off to the side until they become profitable, or they become something
40:22that you can use?
40:23Yeah, that's crazy.
40:24It's sickening.
40:25So, oh, yeah, so Lauren and Alexi were on too, I forgot.
40:29They're very careful.
40:30And Alexi actually said that he is against the surgery, which obviously I understand,
40:38but he actually brought up, you know, you should talk to somebody, a therapist, you
40:42know, before you continue.
40:44And ironically, their friend, a close friend is a therapist.
40:49And you know, she gave her opinion.
40:50And she was like, I don't ever think it's okay for somebody to have plastic surgery
40:57for you know, body dysmorphia or body image issues.
41:01She's like, I don't agree with that.
41:02I don't think that that's the root of the problem.
41:04We have to understand when people have these issues, and their mind makes them believe
41:10that the issues are outer, right?
41:12Like the mind is a very complicated thing.
41:15You'll feel like, oh, well, I'm happy, except I don't like this.
41:20And then your mind will think, well, if you didn't have this particular issue or element
41:24or problem area on your body, you'll be happy.
41:27But happiness has nothing to do with the on the outside.
41:30I watched the show, My 600-lb Life.
41:32And there are people who are just as happy for 500 pounds than they are 130 pounds.
41:38Like it has nothing to do with what's going on on the outside.
41:40It's all here.
41:41And then when those people go in and speak to a doctor or a therapist, they are able
41:46to unravel those issues, like why they're eating their feelings, why they're going through
41:50that.
41:51And it's all in the mind.
41:52And a lot of people think you can solve so many issues with outer physical surgery or
41:57whatever you want to call it.
41:59Lauren is definitely someone who could very well benefit sitting down and just having
42:06a deep conversation from childhood on with a therapist and just let it all out and hear
42:12those issues.
42:13You know, I think therapy is therapeutic.
42:15I told them I'm very open about it.
42:18I go to therapy.
42:19I've been in it most of my life.
42:21I had a pretty rough upbringing.
42:23And, you know, I think that it makes you, when you tell yourself things, it helps you
42:28to say it to someone else so they can repeat it because my therapist will tell me things
42:33all the time.
42:34She'll repeat just what I said, but hearing it from her mouth, I'll hear it in a different
42:37way.
42:38And I think that Lauren is definitely somebody who needs that.
42:41You know, I feel like she's beautiful.
42:43She's a mother.
42:44She has an amazing purpose, you know, her purpose in the world, because she's, I think
42:47Alexi said, you're looking for your purpose in the world.
42:50She has multiple.
42:51But until she can see those purposes and respect what she brings to her family, she's never
42:58going to be able to understand that.
42:59Yep.
43:00I agree.
43:01So hopefully, she'll go and get some therapy and she'll be totally fine, right?
43:08Like, I definitely think that their marital issues are non-existent.
43:12I think that they love each other, but I do think if this is a real, Scott has apologized
43:17to George.
43:18Has he really?
43:20That's news to me.
43:21I did not know that.
43:22I got a text that someone sent me a video.
43:26Yeah, me too.
43:27So yeah, I mean, I'd have to watch the video before I say I accept his apology.
43:32I have to see the context.
43:34But like I said, I don't want any ill will towards him.
43:38So if he's sorry, you know, maybe the lines of communication could be open.
43:44I'm not ready to be friends, right?
43:47But if that's how he feels, I'm open to hearing his explanation, right?
43:53Like, I'm a very-
43:54I got my plane ticket, just went and gassed up.
44:00Shit was getting real.
44:01No, it's okay, Raleigh.
44:02Yeah, I got a bunch of text messages that were a video of him, but I-
44:08You got to watch his body language, George.
44:11And you got to like really, really listen to what he's saying.
44:15Because just because he's saying he's sorry, just because he's apologizing does not mean
44:20that he actually means it.
44:21It needs to be sincere.
44:23Right.
44:24Right.
44:25Exactly.
44:26It's like somebody messaged me earlier and they said, whatever, you're live chicken him
44:33out from doing his or whatever.
44:35And then another person said you canceled him or something with your live.
44:39And I don't know if this has anything to do with that because apparently a lot of people
44:44were reaching out to him after this live that I did.
44:46So I don't know if that-
44:47I'm going to ask Raleigh if he apologized to him also.
44:51Yeah.
44:52That's right.
44:53Well, Raleigh said I don't accept his apology.
44:54So I'm assuming that-
44:55Always remember, always remember a snake is always going to be a snake.
45:01Yep.
45:02100%.
45:03They're going to strike-
45:04Because if he can go on social media, and if he can talk about you and Raleigh the way
45:10he did when I've never even heard y'all even say anything like bad about him.
45:17You know what I'm saying?
45:18So if he can do that to y'all, then, and if he wants to go around and then he wants to
45:23say he's sorry, it's going to be very hard to believe that that's a sincere apology.
45:31It's because everybody is attacking him for going after the wrong people.
45:34Yeah.
45:35That was my first thought.
45:37Like, are you sorry?
45:38Are you sorry that people are holding you accountable for what you did?
45:41Yep.
45:42Right?
45:43Because I know that he doesn't particularly like to be held accountable.
45:44So if people are holding you accountable for your actions and you don't like it, that might
45:49make you warrant an apology, but you have to mean that you're sorry in order for it
45:54to mean something.
45:55And a lot of times, apologies are, I'm sorry that I have to be accountable for what I did.
46:01And you know, I don't want to hear those, you know, those do nothing for me.
46:05All right, so next week is the first episode of the five-part tell-all.
46:11I'm kind of excited.
46:13Did you guys watch the previews?
46:15It kind of looked like Angela kicked Michael out of the house.
46:17Did y'all see that?
46:18She said, pack it and get out.
46:19Yeah, I think that's the first episode.
46:22And there's two episodes.
46:23Well, no, no, no, no.
46:24That's probably third or fourth.
46:25You're right.
46:26We're not going to get that first.
46:27But I'm excited.
46:28I'm assuming that the house would be before the tell-all, or what are your thoughts on
46:33that?
46:34Do you think that they stayed the first two nights together, then the tell-all was after?
46:36Or do you think they did the tell-all, then they stayed in the house?
46:39Like, what do you think?
46:41I think they said that the first two are in the house, and then the tell-all's after.
46:46Oh, so they're going to let them build a rapport or negative rapport with each other, then
46:52put them at the tell-all so they'll fight more.
46:54Because I saw that Ed was coming after the ladies in the hot tub, which ironically, he
47:01was doing the same shit on The Last Resort.
47:04He was yelling at the women in the hot tub at The Last Resort.
47:06Do you remember that?
47:07It was Molly.
47:08I hope Patrick busts him in the damn mouth.
47:12I wish, you know what?
47:14I wish Ed would try to talk to me the way he be talking to women.
47:18I would be the last woman he ever talked to like that.
47:22I think Dee Dee and I would sit in the hot tub with him, gladly.
47:25But I also think Dee Dee and I are the only two getting out.
47:28See?
47:29Most definitely.
47:30I believe that.
47:32That's why I want to make sure y'all are never in a hot tub with him.
47:36I don't know if I can fix that, right?
47:38I don't know if I can fix that, so I have to keep y'all away.
47:41It was self-defense.
47:42Self-defense.
47:43Will people believe that, though?
47:44He's like three feet tall.
47:45I don't know if people believe that.
47:46All we have to do is delete these videos.
47:47Every single one, right?
47:48But apparently, according to Angela's PI, even if we do, he can still find it somehow.
47:49Apparently, he said that if it touched the internet, it's still there.
48:03So yeah, so next week, we're going to get into the finale.
48:07This is the first time I've been really excited about Tell All, right?
48:11Because lately, they've just been long and drawn out and boring and the letdown.
48:15But this one specifically, this preview, I was like, wow, I'm actually excited.
48:20I would have a watch party to this.
48:21I'm excited for this.
48:22And then tomorrow, we're going to get into The Other Way, which is just starting, because
48:28I think there's at least one or two people we haven't even met yet.
48:32Because I was going through my following, and I'm following at least two people from
48:36that season that I haven't met yet on the show.
48:38So that's fun.
48:39I love meeting new people on the show, especially people that haven't been on the show for like
48:43eight years.
48:45So I'm excited to get into The Other Way, which is my favorite, and it's going to be
48:48a long season.
48:49We're probably going to be watching this till Thanksgiving.
48:50It's only an hour long, so we're going to be into this for a while.
48:55But still, I'm happy about that.
48:58So we're going to end this.
48:59I'm going to go watch this apology now and see what's going on with that.
49:04But thank you guys for joining.
49:06Thank you to my dream team, Michael, Hoscar, and Dee Dee for being here.
49:09Oh, thank you, Kim, for the badge.
49:11You don't have to do that.
49:13We'll be back tomorrow night.
49:15We're going to be discussing The Other Way.
49:16Oh, and we're getting close to the last season of, or the last episode of Unexpected.
49:19We're going to do a season end recap because things have been crazy.
49:23We haven't been able to do each episode, but I definitely want to get into that because
49:26there's a bunch of things on that show that are just weird, and I just want to talk about
49:30that.
49:32So we're going to get into that too.
49:33I don't know when the finale is.
49:34I'll get back to you guys, but we're going to do like a season end recap on that.
49:37We're going to just go live and talk about all of the craziness that went on in Unexpected
49:41this season too.
49:42All right, everybody.
49:44Have a wonderful night and we'll see you all tomorrow night back here, same place, different
49:48time.
49:49I'll put it on my story.
49:50Everybody have a good night.
49:51See you tomorrow.
49:52Bye.
49:53Bye.
49:54Bye.
49:55Bye.
49:56Bye.
49:57Bye.
49:58Bye.
