00:00The NEDA Board has approved several projects for infrastructure.

00:08The government emphasized various infrastructure projects for the strengthening of the country's economy.
00:15In the 11th session of the NEDA Board led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,
00:20it approved several changes to Phase 1 of the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network Project.
00:25This includes the construction of connecting roads and interchanges
00:29that will include Barangay Tunasan in Muntinlupa City, San Pedro in Binan, and Cabuyao in Laguna.
00:35The LLRN Project, which was initially approved in 2021,
00:40is a project that targets the construction of a 37.5-kilometer primary road
00:46and a 12-kilometer viaduct from Lower Bicutan, Taguig towards Tunasan, Muntinlupa.
00:51The 25.5-kilometer shoreline viaduct from Tunasan, Muntinlupa towards Calamba, Laguna was also approved.
00:58The project is expected to help strengthen economic activity in the National Capital Region, Calabarzon,
01:05as well as in Central Luzon by the end of 2027.
01:09In addition, NEDA Board Vice Chairperson and NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan
01:13This will also help alleviate traffic jams for safer, more convenient, and faster travel,
01:20particularly in Laguna and Karatig.
01:22Phase 2 of the project, which is expected to be completed in December, is now under feasibility study.
01:29NEDA Board has also approved some conditions for Bohol-Panglao International Airport Project,
01:35which is worth P4.5 billion.
01:38Punong Ejecutivo also approved the Direktiba for DOTR and CAAP,
01:42which will continue the implementation of the 90-day calendar day comparative challenge,
01:46in accordance with the Public-Private Partnership Code and implementing rules and regulations.
01:52Aside from this expansion project for the so-called Paliparan,
01:55its passenger capacity was increased to P2.5 million per year
02:00and P3.9 million per year by the time the project is completed.
02:05NEDA Board also approved the Parameters, Terms, and Conditions
02:09for the Upgrade and Expansion of the Lagindingan International Airport in Misamis Oriental.
02:15NEDA Board is committed to improving the so-called Paliparan
02:19by pushing the government for stronger connectivity in the country,
02:23which is expected to result in stronger tourism and more jobs.
