00:00The Philippine Digital Infrastructure Project has been approved by the National Economic and Development Board.
00:13The project aims to build infrastructures that can help speed up broadband connectivity and high-speed internet in disadvantaged areas.
00:25The fund for this project is worth Php 16.1 billion under the Overseas Development Assistance and Assistance from the World Bank.
00:33Under the leadership of NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, the project is expected to open up many opportunities and jobs
00:42in order to boost the economy of the country.
00:47Meanwhile, the NEDA Board has also approved the Adjustment for the Local Governance Reform Project
00:53New Cebu International Container Port, LRT One South Extension, Metro Manila Flood Management Project,
01:01and other infrastructure flagship projects of the Marcos Jr. Administration.
01:08Meanwhile, the Philippine Statistics Authority has issued additional guidelines on the process of late birth registration.
01:17According to the PSA Statistician and Civil Registrar General Undersecretary Claire Dennis Mapa,
01:23it is mandatory for the City or Municipal Civil Registrar to face applicants who are 18 years or older
01:32while the mother or parent will have to face late birth registration even if they are minors.
01:40There will also be additional requirements for delayed registration including the Barangay Certification, National ID,
01:48two documentary evidence that proves the parent's identity including the Government Issued ID or Marriage Certificate,
01:58and the latest photo of the registrant that will be attached to the application.
02:04For registrants whose parents are non-Filipinos, they will have to submit a Certificate of Marriage of the parent,
02:11Birth Certificate of the parent, Valid Passport or BI Clearance Certificate, and ACRI Card of the foreign parent.
02:21For non-married or marital children, the RA No. 9255 or Acknowledgement under the Civil Code
02:29including the Requirements of Affidavit of Admission of Paternity and Affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father.
02:37After receiving the application, the applicant will be under the interview or interview or visit to the Barangay to confirm the statement made in the Affidavit.
