01:00Director Cuñado added that GovNet is a fiber-optic cable network of government offices that will provide fast and reliable internet connection.
01:09GovNet was launched in 2017 in 88 pioneer sites in Butuan City.
01:14Cuñado established the Free Wi-Fi Area in the islands and remote public places in the Caraga Region.
01:21Satellite internet is now included in places where the local internet provider cannot reach.
01:26According to Cuñado, this proves that DICT is true to its promise that it will serve as a proof of digital divide and community empowerment.
