00:00The importance of the talks in the entire South China Sea is being pointed out by various countries

00:06as well as the declaration of support for the Philippines when it comes to the West Philippine Sea.

00:11This is Patrick De Jesus' report.

00:16On the last day of the Manila Dialogue on the South China Sea,

00:19various countries are pointing out their support for the Philippines in the talks in the West Philippine Sea.

00:26This is in the midst of the invasion of Chinese and Filipino ships in the sea that landed on the coast.

00:32The use of water cannons was a harrassment to the international community,

00:36which was then alarmed by the international community.

00:56The Indo-Pacific is a key important region which will determine the future of the international order for the century to come.

01:12And that's why it is so important that we are engaged here.

01:15This is in the midst of the call to stop the miscalculation

01:20as well as the declaration of their willingness to help the Philippines.

01:25That is the Australian government's priority. Let's prevent conflict at all costs.

01:31Solutions require dialogue and collective action, not force.

02:09China may be at ease with the implementation of the Philippine Maritime Zones Act

02:14and Philippine Archipelagic Sea Lanes Act,

02:17according to a Filipino expert, laws should not be seen as an escalation.

02:23The temperature of the South China Sea is going down compared with the last year.

02:29So, I think Beijing and the Philippines and the marina

02:37can use a diplomatic cello to manage the disputes with each other.

02:42We did not expand on what we are demanding.

02:46We are just clarifying because ever since, what we are demanding is always in accordance with the law.
