00:00Let's get right to it and start off with soccer.
00:05We'll start off with the Euro Cup game,
00:06because that's on deck first, 3 p.m. Eastern, folks.
00:09That's the first game on the pitch,
00:12with Spain being the favorite over France.
00:14Spain is plus 170 over the FanDuel Sportsbook,
00:17Thai plus 180, France is plus 200.
00:21Spain and France among the most successful
00:23international soccer teams in the land,
00:25Spain taking aim at a record fourth Euro championship.
00:30Spain has been the more impressive side so far,
00:32the only squad to have won all five of its matches,
00:35and the team's 11 goals are the most
00:37of any of the four semifinals.
00:393 o'clock Eastern today, we'll have it covered for you
00:41on Pharrell Coast to Coast.
00:42Now, as far as Copa America,
00:44that game is tonight at 8 o'clock Eastern,
00:46so InGameLive and Gabe will have it covered on that one.
00:48Argentina, a massive favorite, as they should be,
00:51minus 310 over on FanDuel,
00:53and of course, if you take Upstart Canada,
00:55the big dogs left, plus 1,000, plus 1,000.
00:59In the game today, not to win the whole thing,
01:00but plus 1,000 today, the reason why.
01:02Canada's had a hard time scoring, but they're here.
01:05Argentina did play Canada a couple of weeks ago,
01:08and they beat Canada two-nothing in Group A.
01:11Tuesday night's match will be the third meeting
01:13between the two teams.
01:14Argentina won each of the first two meetings,
01:16five to nothing in 2010, two to nothing in the group stage,
01:20so needless to say, the winner will take on
01:22the winner of Uruguay, Colombia,
01:25in the tournament final this coming Sunday.
01:27That sets the stage for a couple of matches today
01:30in soccer, but we'll dive a little bit more
01:32as to some of the betting opportunities
01:33with Kyle Bond from Sporting News
01:35in about 10 minutes from now.
01:36Major League Baseball, last night,
01:38late night in baseball, the Reds beat the Rockies
01:40by a final of six to nothing.
01:42We'll start there with the Major League debut
01:44of Reese Hines, the Reds' number 15th-ranked prospect,
01:48according to Major League Baseball,
01:50fifth-inning double, and then in the eighth inning,
01:53a 449-foot shot to give Cincinnati a three to nothing lead.
01:56If Reese Hines' name seems a little bit familiar,
01:59once upon a time, a long time ago,
02:02as a high school player, he did a home run derby
02:04on the field before the actual home run derby.
02:06Pretty cool moment there.
02:07David Bell, manager of the Reds,
02:09talked about Hines' debut last night.
02:11We know what he's capable of, for sure,
02:13and to step right in to a big league game like that
02:16and directly contribute to a win,
02:18what a great way to get it going.
02:20You know, your career, and he was having fun out there
02:23and enjoyed it, and, you know, he had some nice plays
02:26in the field and obviously contributed at the plate,
02:29and, you know, kind of, it's a good way
02:31to just acclimate yourself to the team,
02:34and, you know, it was a big win for us,
02:37so to be able to contribute to that
02:39is a great feeling for Reese.
02:43Reese will be a very hot player
02:45in fantasy baseball pickup leagues this week, too.
02:47Anthony Rendon, probably not,
02:49but he is back, Anthony Rendon,
02:51back with the Los Angeles Angels.
02:52Boy, would they love to trade him at the end of the month.
02:54He's missed 68 games and had a fun off-season,
02:59but needless to say, he's back with the Angels.
03:01What he'll do is anybody's guess.
03:02Chris Sale scratched yesterday.
03:04He's gonna start today for the Atlanta Braves.
03:06Braves also said that he is unlikely to pitch
03:09in the Midsummer Classic next Tuesday
03:12just due to scheduling quirks,
03:14so he'll make the All-Star team,
03:16but will probably have to be replaced
03:18as far as participating on the roster.
03:21Also, meanwhile, Marcelo Zuna of the Braves
03:24announced he's participating in Home Run Derby
03:26a week from this past Monday.
03:29Raul Mondesi, former big league player,
03:31sentenced to six years in jail in the Dominican Republic.
03:34Prosecutors accused Mondesi of embezzling $5 million
03:38with his time as mayor between 2010 and 2016.
03:42Some of the time, from what I'm reading,
03:44was deferred because he was under house arrest
03:46the last few years.
03:47Cooper Flagg, 17-year-old Duke Blue Devil,
03:51college freshman who has yet to play a game in college,
03:54was holding his own against NBA superstars
03:56in their practice.
03:58Anthony Davis drew Holiday Bam out of bio,
03:59three-pointers, putbacks, everything else.
04:01He should be the number one overall pick
04:03in next year's NBA draft.
04:04We'll hear from Cooper Flagg in the sound-off coming up.
04:07Paul George, by the way, said he was disrespected
04:11with his offer to return to the Los Angeles Clippers.
04:14Sorry, Paul, hasn't worked out.
04:15Dan Hurley's UConn contract.
04:17Here it is, six years, $50 million.
04:21He rejected a six-year $70 million
04:23to become the Lakers head coach.
04:24There were really no terms that were disclosed
04:26once he ended up going back to UConn,
04:28but those are the terms, six years, $50 million.
04:30Zach Eaddy also playing in the Summer League.
04:32That's been going on right now, as you may know.
04:3414 points, 15 rebounds, four blocks.
04:36Also tipped in a last-second shot
04:38to send the game to overtime,
04:39but the Grizzlies lost the game in the end, 97-95.
04:44All right, now, at the court in Wimbledon,
04:46we've had some major upsets,
04:47both on the men's and women's side.
04:49In fact, Yannick Sinner will take on Daniel Medvedev.
04:52That is coming up.
04:53They're playing right now.
04:54Also, Carlos Alcaraz, one of the favorites to win,
04:57takes on Tommy Paul.
04:59But a bigger story yesterday was Jovak Jokovic.
05:03He advanced at Wimbledon after beating Holger Ruhn
05:08and advancing to the quarterfinals
05:10with everybody essentially booing Jokovic
05:13and rooting against him,
05:14which has pretty much been the case wherever he has gone.
05:17And Jokovic had some words for the crowd
05:19when he talked about that after the match.
05:22And to all those people that have chosen to disrespect
05:27the player, in this case, me, have a good night.
05:33I don't accept it.
05:34No, no, no.
05:35I know they were, I know they were cheering for Ruhn,
05:37but that's an excuse to also boo.
05:40I, I, I, listen, I, I've been,
05:43I've been on the tour for more than 20 years.
05:44So trust me, I know all the tricks.
05:46I know how it works.
05:48It's fine, it's fine, it's okay.
05:49I focus on the respectful people that have respect,
05:53that pay the ticket to come and watch the night,
05:57and love tennis, and love tennis,
06:00and appreciate the players
06:01and the effort that the players put in here.
06:04I played in much more hostile environment.
06:06Trust me, you guys, you guys can't touch me.
06:12Wow, good stuff, I guess.
06:14The joker is truly the joker,
06:17going into the next round at Wimbledon.
06:19All right, this is a strange story, by the way, from soccer.
06:22This gentleman named Felix Weyer, who's a referee,
06:24who served in a match-fixing band back in soccer in 2005,
06:28is actually an officiate
06:29Wednesday's EuroCup semi-final game
06:32between England and the Netherlands.
06:33He was suspended six months in 2005
06:35for accepting a bribe in a match
06:38between a pair of a couple of German clubs.
06:41And I guess he's back refereeing.
06:45Kind of strange here, to say the least.
06:47The National Football League
06:48has suspended Steelers cornerback,
06:50Cameron Sutton, for eight games without pay.
06:53He violated the NFL's personal conduct policy
06:56the league announced on Monday
06:57he'll be eligible to return late in October,
07:01week eight, against the New York Giants.
07:03There was a warrant issued in March 7th
07:06after police responded to a call at his house
07:08where Sutton allegedly battered a woman
07:09before fleeing the scene.
07:12And he is not appealing the suspension,
07:13so the Steelers will be without him
07:15for the first half of the NFL season.
