00:00Let's go over a couple picture props here. Tom, I'll pick your brain on. We don't have to spend a
00:03lot of time, but just your thoughts on that. Some of the top pitchers on the card today, Aaron Nola,
00:07the Philadelphia Phillies taking on the Washington Nationals. He sits at five and a half strikeouts,
00:11plus 102 price here. A lot of Ks in this series so far. What are your initial thoughts on Nola today,
00:17if he can get that K prop or not? I would say no, and I don't think it's at him having a quote
00:23unquote bad day, but you know, there is some weather out there. It's nice hitting weather,
00:27a little bit of wind blowing out. Also, his strikeout rate has decreased over the past few
00:30years. It wasn't back up at 29% as we saw in 2022, 2021. He was really a dominant strikeout pitcher.
00:36That's kind of decreased as the years have gone on. So I would say the under on that,
00:39not saying Nola is a bad pitcher because he's a pitcher that we're going to trust
00:42more often than not, but just not as much as many strikeouts as we've seen in years past.
00:46You'll see a lot of the props with the same numbers, like five and a half strikeouts,
00:50but the juice is always going to change quickly here. Robbie Ray, San Francisco Giants on the
00:54mound, five and a half Ks. We just told you it was plus money for our Nola. It's minus 160 on
00:58Robbie Ray today. I believe in Robbie Ray. Maybe I'm holding onto what he did too many times when
01:04he's with the Diamondbacks years ago, but I believe in his talent and I do not believe in
01:09the Reds overall. I've mentioned that the Reds are a fun team, but they still strike out a lot.
01:14Max Meyer there, Miami Marlins over four and a half strikeouts. He's at a nice price at plus
01:18124. How about Mad Max on the mound today? That's going to be a no for me. Strikeout rate last year,
01:25sub 20 percent. Pirates aren't a great team, but at least they can put the ball in play and at
01:29least put a little bit of pressure on them. I just don't think he gets there. Not a big
01:33strikeout pitcher. Now this one might be unfair to ask you because I'm hard-pressed to say it's
01:37probably not going to be a no. Tanner Bivey, who you're looking for Ks this year, coming in with
01:42a four and a half K number at minus 122. And if you're talking about food poisoning, Tommy Campbell,
01:46a guy with food poisoning, you see what Mookie Betts did? Come on now, what are we thinking about
01:49Bivey tonight and that four and a half? Yeah, I guess I am biased on this from the jump because
01:54I want to have as many strikeouts as possible. Go over 162 and a half on the season. He had a
01:58little bit extra rest. That's how I'm telling myself this. It's not food poisoning. It's a
02:02few days of extra rest. So he can throw an extra 15 pitches out there and rack up a few more
02:06strikeouts. I believe in the Royals long term, but I also believe in Tanner Bivey. Give me over
02:10four and a half strikeouts. We'll go quickly through these next two. Jacob DeGrom over six
02:14and a half Ks at a minus 134. And Brian Wu, five and a half Ks, minus 126. DeGrom and Wu.
02:22No one, DeGrom, I'm buying into the fact that they want to keep him under control to start
02:25the season. Yes, on Brian Wu, he does not walk batters. He puts the ball, he just pounds the
02:30strike zone. And of course, the athletics are not great. They're fun, but they're not great this year.
