00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
00:20The grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the sweet fellowship
00:24of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
00:29Nice to see you, and you are all welcome to this Mass on the 14th Sunday in Ordinary
00:35Time, EAB.
00:38In our Gospel, Jesus, the homeboy, will be back home, and he will be rejected.
00:48We have been rejected too, in so many ways.
00:52So let us ask Jesus, who was rejected before us, to give us the graces we need to deal
00:57with rejection, through Christ our Lord.
01:00Amen.
01:01Let us call to mind our sins, be sorry for them, and ask for God's forgiveness and healing.
01:11I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in
01:19my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do, through
01:25my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.
01:29Therefore, I ask the Blessed Mary, ever-Virgin, all the angels and saints, and to you, my
01:36brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
01:40May Almighty God have mercy on us, may he forgive us our sins, and may he bring us to
01:45everlasting life, amen.
01:49Lord have mercy.
01:53Christ have mercy.
01:56Lord have mercy.
01:59Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of goodwill.
02:04We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you.
02:10We give you thanks for your great glory.
02:13Lord God, heavenly King, O God, Almighty Father, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Lord God, Lamb
02:22of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
02:30You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer.
02:33You are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
02:39For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High,
02:45Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit.
02:48Glory to God the Father, amen.
02:51Let us pray.
02:53O God, who in the abasement of your Son have raised up a fallen world, fill your faithful
02:59with holy joy, for on those you have rescued from slavery to sin, you bestow eternal gladness.
03:07Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity
03:11of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
03:15Amen.
03:16A reading from the book of the prophet Ezekiel.
03:20As the Lord spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and sat me on my feet.
03:27And I heard the one who was speaking say to me, Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites,
03:34rebels who have rebelled against me.
03:37They and their ancestors have revolted against me to this very day.
03:43Hard of face and obstinate of heart are they to whom I am sending you.
03:49But you shall say to them, thus says the Lord God, and whether they heed or resist, for
03:57they are a rebellious house, they shall know that a prophet has been among them.
04:04The word of the Lord.
04:05Thanks be to God.
04:06Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, leading for his mercy.
04:07Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, leading for his mercy.
04:33Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, leading for his mercy.
04:51To you I lift up my eyes, who are enthroned in heaven, as the eyes of servants are on
05:07the hands of their masters.
05:13Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, leading for his mercy.
05:27As the eyes of a maid are on the hands of her mistress, so are the eyes on the Lord
05:41our God, till he have pity on us.
05:50Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, leading for his mercy.
06:05Have pity on us, O Lord, have pity on us, for we are more sated with contempt.
06:19Our souls are more than sated with the mockery of the arrogant, with the contempt of the
06:30proud.
06:35Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, leading for his mercy.
06:51A reading from the second letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians.
06:56Brothers and sisters, that I, Paul, might not become too elated because of the abundance
07:03of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, an angel of Satan, to beat me,
07:10to keep me from being too elated.
07:13Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it might leave me.
07:18But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.
07:26I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell
07:32with me.
07:34Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints
07:42for the sake of Christ.
07:44For when I am weak, then I am strong.
07:48The word of the Lord.
07:50Thanks be to God.
08:03Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
08:17Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
08:31The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he sent me to bring glad tidings to the poor.
08:46Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
09:02The Lord be with you.
09:04And with your spirit.
09:06A proclamation of the Holy Gospel according to Mark.
09:10According to the Lord.
09:13Jesus departed from there and came to his native place, accompanied by his disciples.
09:22When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished.
09:31They said, Where did this man get all this?
09:36What kind of wisdom has been given him?
09:40What mighty deeds are wrought by his hands?
09:43Is he not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon?
09:52And are not his sisters here with us?
09:55And they took offense at him.
09:58Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his native place and among his own kin and his own house.
10:12So he was not able to perform any mighty deed there, apart from curing a few sick people by laying his hands on them.
10:21He was amazed at their lack of faith.
10:26The Gospel of the Lord.
10:31We now recite the Creed.
10:34I believe in God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who art in heaven, on earth, as it is in heaven.
10:39All things visible and invisible.
10:42I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
10:48The Father before all ages.
10:50God from God, light from light, to God from true God.
10:54Begotten, not to me.
10:56Consubstantial with the Father.
10:58In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
11:01Christ, King of God, salvation, who came down from heaven.
11:06By the power of the Holy Spirit, he was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
11:11For our sake, he was crucified, and was buried.
11:15He was blessed and was buried.
11:19In the Holy Scriptures.
11:27Again, in glory to judge the living and the dead.
11:30In this kingdom we have no end.
11:32I believe in the Holy Spirit.
11:34Lord, giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
11:39Who the Father and the Son is adored and glorified.
11:43Who has spoken through the prophets.
11:45I believe in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
11:49I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
11:53And I look forward to the resurrection of the dead.
11:56Amen.
11:57The life of the Lord is come. Amen.
12:00For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our heart, let us pray to the Lord.
12:06Lord, hear our prayer.
12:09We ask for the intercession of our Mother Mary, as we say Hail Mary, full of grace.
12:14The Lord is with thee.
12:16Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
12:21Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
12:27Dear God, we, your children, are gathered here trusting that even if the entire world rejects us, you will love us.
12:36Listen to these prayers we have offered and grant all we have asked.
12:41For we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

14:22Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
14:28May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good, and the good of all his holy Church.
14:37May this oblation dedicated to your name purify us, oh Lord, and day by day bring our conduct closer to the life of Heaven, through Christ our Lord.
14:48The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
14:59It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to
15:05give you a thanks, Lord Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God, through Christ
15:10our Lord. For through his Paschal mystery he accomplished the marvellous deed by
15:17which he has freed us from the yoke of sin and death, summoning us to the glory
15:22of being now called a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
15:28for your own possession, to proclaim everywhere your mighty works, for you
15:33have called us out of darkness into your own wonderful light. And so with angels
15:39and archangels, with thrones and dominions, and with all the hosts and powers of
15:43heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory, ask without end, we acclaim.
16:13Hosanna in the highest.
16:20Blessed be he who comes in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
16:28Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest.
16:37Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest.
16:57You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
17:03by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us
17:08the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed and
17:15entered willingly into his passion, he took bread, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it
17:21to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body
17:28which will be given up for you.
17:47In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving
17:53thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink
17:57from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal
18:02covenant which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of
18:06sins. Do this in memory of me.
18:11Namaste.
18:41We thank you, O Lord, until you come again.
18:53When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.
19:16Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer
19:22you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that
19:29you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we
19:35pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into
19:39one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world
19:45and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Francis our Pope, Louis our
19:51Bishop, and all the clergy and your entire people. Remember your servants,
19:57Ben, Bill, Craig, Greg, and Kitty, whom you have called from this world to
20:03yourself. Grant that they who are united with your Son in a death like his may
20:09also be one with him in his resurrection. Remember also our brothers and sisters
20:14who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection and all who have died
20:19in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us all,
20:25we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, blessed Joseph, her
20:29spouse, with the blessed Apostles, and all the Saints who have pleased you
20:33throughout the ages, we may merit to be called as to attain our life, and may
20:38praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
20:44Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the
20:55Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, forever and ever.
21:13Amen.
21:33At the Saviour's command, informed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
21:39Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
21:45thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
21:52and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
21:58and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
22:04Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil. Graciously grant peace in our days,
22:11that by the help of your mercy we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
22:16as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
22:25Lord Jesus Christ, we say to you, Apostles, peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
22:30Look not on our sins, but on the feet of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity
22:35in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.
22:40And the peace of the Lord be with you all.
22:44Let's share that peace of Christ with one another.
22:47Let's be with you.
23:17Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us.
23:36Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world. Have mercy on us.
23:55Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world. Grant us, grant us peace.
24:26Behold the Lamb of God, Jesus, who takes away the sins of the world,
24:35who identifies with us in our rejections.
24:38Happy are all of us who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
24:42Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the words.
24:49May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for the eternal life. Amen.
24:54My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
24:59I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
25:04Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
25:10I embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you.
25:15Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
25:19Taste and see that the Lord is good. Bless the man and woman who seeks refuge in him. Let us pray.
25:28Grant, we pray, O Lord, that having been replenished by such great gifts,
25:33we may gain the prize of salvation and never cease to praise you, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
25:40The Lord be with you.
25:42And with your spirit.
25:44May Almighty God bless you, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
25:51Go forth glorifying God by your lives.
25:55Thanks be to God.
