00:00 So similar me and Elton with our sunglass collection.
00:03 I wonder how many he had.
00:04 Hi Vogue, I'm Shea Mitchell and this is What's in My Bag.
00:09 So I actually got this bag from a vintage store.
00:13 I just saw it.
00:14 I love the size, especially because I'm always traveling and I have
00:17 what I think a lot of people would describe as a Mary Poppins bag.
00:20 And then I just got a fun little charm from Chrome Hearts to accessorize it.
00:24 So this is it and it is very heavy.
00:27 First item, my cell phone.
00:30 Always, always, always.
00:31 If I leave home, I will turn back around and get it.
00:34 I think also being a mom now, I always want to be available.
00:38 So this is also my fun little case that I got.
00:40 My daughter really likes it.
00:41 Also has a little mirror here, so it's convenient for when I'm doing things.
00:44 I can just check.
00:45 I have a huge water bottle with me.
00:49 I actually really enjoy traveling with my own water bottle just because I feel like
00:54 it forces me to want to stay more hydrated than drinking constantly out of like
00:57 different plastic water bottles.
00:59 I definitely go through two, maybe three of these.
01:02 Okay, next up, I have my base mesh pouch.
01:06 This has random stuff in it.
01:09 So I always have my HydraLite.
01:11 Pour one of these in here.
01:12 I have mascara because if I was ever stuck on an island,
01:15 I would say I would need to have mascara with me.
01:18 Sky High mascara.
01:19 Lip gloss, of course.
01:22 Hand cream because when I'm traveling, I really don't enjoy the feeling of dry hands.
01:28 Mints and gum because bad breath is just not it.
01:34 And then I have teas.
01:35 So I actually really enjoy this tea or a dandelion tea when I'm traveling.
01:39 It's one of the first things that I have when I check into a hotel.
01:42 I feel like after traveling, you just can sometimes feel a little bloated.
01:45 And this helps with that.
01:47 So always with me.
01:48 Silk hair ties.
01:49 Oh, and this, a little vitamin C packet.
01:52 Not the best tasting, just gonna say it right now.
01:54 But they work.
01:56 What else in here?
01:57 Candy, of course.
01:58 And yeah, so I always just like these little bags.
02:00 I feel like it keeps things super organized in a bag this size.
02:03 A hat.
02:05 The joy of having kids is you get melasma sometimes.
02:08 And if I'm out in the sun for too long, I do too.
02:10 And it likes to come out.
02:12 The key to a good hat, I would say, obviously, it being adjustable,
02:15 depending on the hair, how it is.
02:18 I like that.
02:19 But I would also say just the brim.
02:21 I'm not like a crazy hat person.
02:22 Yeah, I am.
02:23 I am a crazy hat.
02:24 I have a lot of hats.
02:25 I love hats.
02:26 Passport.
02:26 I always have my passport.
02:28 Canadian.
02:28 And a little pen.
02:30 Because I don't really love touching the pens in airports.
02:33 Somewhere I haven't been that I'm dying to go is New Zealand.
02:37 I have a few friends that are from there, and I just feel like it looks so beautiful.
02:41 Yeah, that's probably next to my bucket list.
02:43 New Zealand.
02:44 If I could travel with one person, aside from my family, who would it be?
02:49 Betty White.
02:49 I don't know.
02:50 She'd be fun.
02:51 You know if I could bring her back?
02:52 Oh, wait.
02:52 I can't bring her back.
02:53 No, wait.
02:54 What's the question?
02:54 I've answered a question like this that was dead or alive.
02:57 Let's X that and redo it again.
02:58 But honestly, Betty White.
03:01 Next item.
03:01 Have a little agenda.
03:05 Another pen shoved in here.
03:07 I'm on my phone quite a bit, but when it comes to taking notes or making lists,
03:10 I like pen to paper.
03:12 I actually forgot my real one.
03:14 That's where I first drew up one of our first products at BASE, which was our weekender bag.
03:18 And I drew it on an airplane.
03:20 Yeah, so that's in one of my older notebooks.
03:22 I also have an old journal where after a psychic reading, I wrote down everything that she had told
03:27 me.
03:28 And it's really trippy to look at because I would say almost all of it came true.
03:33 Then money.
03:35 This is like my little change purse, little key chain.
03:38 I don't love a big wallet, so I feel like this is easy because it can just come with me.
03:42 Portable charger, always.
03:44 Is this labeled?
03:45 Yeah, this is labeled too.
03:47 I think I have five of them, so I know where they are.
03:50 I leave these everywhere, but I absolutely love them because, again, I want to be available,
03:54 especially if anything's going on with my kids.
03:56 I need to have this with me at all times.
03:58 What else do I have in here?
03:59 Little bag, jewelry.
04:02 Today I'm doing a few interviews, so I always like to have options.
04:06 You know, gold, silver, what are you wearing?
04:08 I always have a random little pouch of jewelry in my bag.
04:11 More chargers.
04:13 This is a little guy that, depending on Ubers or indirect, what do you want?
04:18 What do you need?
04:19 I got you.
04:20 Told you.
04:21 If you travel with somebody, you need it to be me because I got you.
04:24 What kind of phone do you have?
04:25 Right here.
04:26 All right, this is a spray serum face.
04:32 Traveling, I love a little face mist.
04:35 So if you see just mist up in the air in front of you, it's probably me just spraying myself
04:39 on a plane.
04:40 I love to stay hydrated.
04:43 Candy.
04:43 I also am like a little sugar head.
04:47 I don't know.
04:48 Somebody that loves sugar.
04:49 I love candy.
04:51 So I have this for myself and also as bribery for my children.
04:54 Works wonders.
04:55 And this is like an organic one.
04:57 What else do I have in here?
04:58 I have hot sauce.
04:59 This is my little mini hot sauce bag.
05:02 This is a secret one I can't tell you about, but this is also my little Tabasco size.
05:07 So I love this.
05:08 And it's my little spice container.
05:10 So for every time I sit down, I literally have one of those with me in my bag.
05:14 Swag.
05:15 Okay, this is unique and kind of special.
05:19 Okay, so I always have this.
05:21 This is what really comes with me and switches in different bags.
05:24 I have a lot of stuff in here.
05:26 As you can see, I have like cuticle oil, lip gloss, tweezers, little hair gel, air pods,
05:31 hair ties, cream.
05:33 Ooh, this is good.
05:34 Little blister bandages.
05:36 A must have.
05:37 These really work wonders.
05:39 Little mini toothbrushes.
05:41 Little stain.
05:43 Stain on the go.
05:45 Eyebrow pencil.
05:45 Must have.
05:47 This and mascara I would say are my like two must haves for makeup.
05:50 And then this little card in here.
05:52 This is my grandma and Atlas.
05:56 And this is a real photo that then got turned into a little painting.
05:59 She has this little message on the back.
06:00 That was one that she left me.
06:02 So I love this.
06:03 This is very special and it comes with me everywhere.
06:05 I would read it, but I would cry.
06:07 So I don't want that to happen right now.
06:09 The best advice my grandma ever gave me was she'd just be like, "Just go out there.
06:14 Just do it.
06:15 Just go out there."
06:15 Like she literally would always say that.
06:17 And I think that really has been my mantra ever since I started was like, "Why not?"
06:21 Like I never want to regret anything that I didn't do.
06:25 Most special memory I have with my grandma was when she came with me on the red carpet.
06:30 And it was for a movie that I did with Gary Marshall.
06:34 And it was like my first big red carpet.
06:37 And I brought her out with me and those photos will always be my favorite.
06:40 But she loved it.
06:41 She, I would say, has always been my number one supporter.
06:44 This is also something that I always have with me in my travel bags.
06:47 It's a little card holder.
06:49 But the card that I have in here is a little base card.
06:52 So I hand this out to anybody that I see at the airport that's traveling with base.
06:56 It says, "We see you got to first base.
06:58 Let's get you to second base."
06:59 A little discount code.
07:01 So I love this.
07:02 Always have this.
07:03 Craziest place that I've seen somebody with a base piece was I was shooting for Thirst
07:07 in Argentina.
07:08 And it was in this small ranch that was like two hours out of Buenos Aires.
07:13 And it was just so remote.
07:16 I truly thought we were the only people that were there.
07:18 And I'm shooting this segment.
07:20 The camera's on.
07:20 And all of a sudden, this girl walks out of the washroom that was kind of next to where
07:23 we were shooting.
07:24 And she has the base fanny pack on.
07:27 And I remember Kaylee was behind me was like, "Oh my gosh, is that base?"
07:31 And she's like, "Yeah, it's base."
07:32 And I like turned-- I was like, "Was this set up?
07:35 Did somebody set this up?"
07:36 It wasn't set up.
07:37 Her and her mom both had it.
07:38 And they claimed to love the brand.
07:42 Next up.
07:42 More snacks.
07:45 I love these.
07:46 If you want healthy snacks, I feel like I'm kind of the queen of that because I do a lot
07:49 of the research and look at the ingredients.
07:51 So any sort of like gummy snacks I have in my bag.
07:54 I always have a pair of sunglasses in my bag.
07:56 Sometimes two.
07:57 I probably have more sunglasses than I do anything else.
08:00 Like more than shoes, more than bags.
08:02 Wet wipes.
08:03 Always.
08:04 Everywhere.
08:05 Check into the hotel, wipe down all the things.
08:07 The phone, the remote, or I use a shower cap for the remote control.
08:11 But I always am wiping down handles, my plane seat, the headrest, the TV, all of it.
08:16 I go through a lot of these.
08:17 Selfie light.
08:19 You know if there's a tag on something that I have, it means that there's more than one.
08:23 So this is light one.
08:24 So I have maybe a few more, but I like this.
08:27 Not that you don't have exceptional lighting here, but like let's just blast it, you know?
08:31 Up.
08:32 See that?
08:33 Little lifted.
08:34 Head up.
08:35 Little tilt of the face.
08:36 I'm really almost done.
08:40 Okay, let's do this.
08:41 Kindle.
08:43 I love this because when I'm traveling, especially when I'm by myself, I like to read as much as possible.
08:48 So I have quite a few books in here.
08:51 The one I'm currently reading is The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho.
08:55 And I've read it before.
08:56 I just like to reread it, but I love this little size.
08:58 I have vitamins in here.
09:01 A little pill case that I love.
09:02 More snacks.
09:05 Rice Krispie.
09:06 Honey.
09:07 Especially when I'm doing any sort of like press, I always have honey with hot water.
09:12 So I carry my own just in case.
09:14 I think that's it.
09:15 A printed schedule.
09:16 So right now this has all my flights from like I leave tonight for Barcelona and then I go to
09:22 Michigan and then I am in Scotland for four days this month.
09:26 And then I come home for two days and like it just has all of my check-ins and all of that.
09:31 So if my phone's ever dead, I have it here.
09:34 I know my confirmation numbers.
09:35 I know all the things.
09:36 So this is like my little bible.
09:37 Okay, then I have gum and more hand sani.
09:41 So I think that's it.
09:43 This is the first time that I've used this to travel.
09:48 As much as it's cute, definitely lacks a lot of function.
09:51 All right, thanks, Vogue.
09:52 Thanks for checking out what's in my bag.
09:55 Love 100 things.
