00:02 - Every year, there's a couple of teams that get screwed.
00:07 And it's normally the same teams, the Raiders, the Bills.
00:10 You know what I'm saying?
00:11 The Browns.
00:12 And people are like, "Well, what do you mean by that?"
00:14 Bill's a good example.
00:16 Bill's are playing two games in the first five days
00:18 of the season, Mike.
00:20 - Yeah.
00:21 - They're gonna play on the Sunday
00:21 and they're gonna play on a Thursday.
00:22 That's fun, right?
00:24 - I know.
00:25 - That's great.
00:26 And you look at the Kansas City Chiefs.
00:28 They're playing at home on a Thursday.
00:31 Then they're gonna be off all the way
00:32 to the next Sunday at home again.
00:35 Right?
00:36 Like you'll notice, you know, the Raiders once played.
00:38 The Raiders went to Europe.
00:40 They came back.
00:41 If you remember like two years ago, bro,
00:43 the Raiders played one home game
00:46 in like the first like eight weeks.
00:48 Like the one of the Euro games counted as like,
00:53 and they were like, "Oh, you know, we did 800 simulations.
00:55 It's completely random."
00:57 It's like, no, it's not completely random.
00:59 You guys, the Raiders always vote against you all the time.
01:01 And now you vote against them, right?
01:04 That's the way, you know what I mean?
01:04 The Raiders always that sole vote against everything.
01:07 So you pay the price.
01:08 So there is a code to it.
01:10 And something I find interesting too is travel, Mike.
01:13 And you know, as a Bill fan, we've seen this before.
01:16 The Bills, we've had our best years, bro.
01:18 When we just stay in this Eastern hub.
01:20 Remember like it was great.
01:21 Yeah, we opened with the Giants
01:23 and then the next week we played on the road at the Jets.
01:25 So it's like, you're telling me we got two road games
01:27 to start the season, but they're both in New York City.
01:30 Right?
01:31 - Right.
01:32 - And they start off, oh, they won the games, right?
01:34 They're two and oh.
01:36 There's a method to this stuff.
01:38 And to me is travel.
01:40 The Chargers traveling 26,000 miles this year.
01:45 The Dolphins travel a second most, which is nice to see.
01:48 The Bills are right in the middle.
01:50 We're not as trendy anymore, bro.
01:51 So we're not, we don't have to fly around
01:53 for these trendy Christmas day games and all this stuff now.
01:56 Bills are only traveling 16,000 miles this year.
01:59 See, I'm on top of everything.
02:01 - And it helps when you don't have those,
02:03 like when you cross over with both the Wests.
02:06 You know, if you're one of the AFC or NFC East teams
02:09 and you're playing both the Wests the same year,
02:11 sometimes that crosses over, that adds onto the travel.
02:14 It's painful.
02:15 And going back to you saying the Bills
02:17 are playing the first two, five days of the season.
02:19 I don't know if that's good or bad.
02:21 Like what I'd rather while you're fresh
02:22 and early in the year, get that Thursday out of the way.
02:26 But the problem is with this game,
02:27 if they're giving them week two Thursday,
02:29 that means they're probably one of the team
02:30 that's gonna play two Thursday night games.
02:32 And they're gonna get another one later down the line.
02:34 I guarantee it, 'cause that happened
02:35 to the Steelers last year or something.
02:37 They had to play twice 'cause of that situation.
02:39 - Like a good example, guys,
02:41 with me and Mike's point here, the Houston Texans, okay?
02:44 You guys were a great story last year, fun.
02:47 Now look at the league.
02:48 They got you flying all over the place.
02:50 They got you playing on this prime time, this.
02:52 All right, you wanna be in a big dog?
02:53 Okay, now you're playing.
02:55 And I tell you, that's a horrible time, Mike.
02:57 That's a Wednesday game, bro.
03:00 The Christmas day games are Wednesday.
