00:00Let's go to the Bills and their game in Houston, the digs game.
00:11Obviously, everybody's talking about digs, but I want to ask you first about the Bills
00:16problems at receiver.
00:18Yeah.
00:19And look, this has been a problem.
00:21They've gotten away with it last week, of course, when they got blown out against the
00:24Ravens.
00:25But when you look at their situation, they did very little in free agency.
00:29They brought in Matt Collins, MVS.
00:33It's not a great group.
00:34Keon Coleman, their second rounder, who is really not starting yet.
00:38He's more or less their fourth receiver.
00:40But here's the problem.
00:41Khalil Shakir, I told you, was going to be a breakout candidate.
00:43He's been great so far.
00:44Shakir, unfortunately, he's got an injury and he didn't practice for the second straight
00:49day.
00:50Keon Coleman, as I understand it, they like to play some 11 personnel, some 12.
00:55Coleman would be a starter when they go three receivers.
00:58Tomorrow's a big day for Shakir with his first real injury this season.
01:01And the thing about Shakir that's very important, Scott, is they don't just line him up inside.
01:05They'll move him around for matchup purposes.
01:07Out of Boise State, Khalil Shakir is in his third year.
01:11Really good football player.
01:12Now, for the Texans, this is big.
01:14Joe Mechsen, he started working last week.
01:18He's got an ankle sprain.
01:19Some people on the league think it's a high ankle.
01:20He has not worked yet this week.
01:22If he doesn't work tomorrow, zero chance he plays.
01:25Kay Makers, a former first-round pick, you might remember him with the Rams.
01:30He fills in.
01:31He started last week.
01:32Actually looked pretty good.
01:33But that is big because pass protection, Mechsen's great.
01:36He's also really good at catching the football.
01:38It's not the same without him.
01:40This game, and by the way, which is one, I see why it is.
01:43I see why, depending on which book you look at, do the Texans or the Bills are a point
01:47favorite.
01:48It is very, very even.
01:49This is a tough game.
01:51But typically, when good teams, Scott, get blown out the week before, they get themselves
01:55together.
01:56They come out upset.
01:57And they play well on the road.
01:58And the Bills have shown they can win on the road, by the way.
01:59They didn't play well last week.
02:00But this, to me, is a very even game.
02:02Do you think there will be any Diggs drama in this game?
02:06Any shoving, arguing, trash talking, something?
02:11There's got to be something, right?
02:12Yeah, and they're not super deep a corner.
02:15And he'll have something for them.
02:16There's no question about it.
02:17He'll want to get the Bills back.
02:18I know the way veterans are.
02:22Some of the Bills kind of bad-mouthed him quietly, didn't say all the right things.
02:27He's aware of what's going on.
02:29This is going to be a fun matchup, because you've got the juice of Diggs going against
02:33his former team.
02:35The Bills have kind of changed up a little bit, the way that their offense is comprised.
02:40They're not as pass-happy as they were before.
02:43Things have changed for them.
02:44And James Cook, by the way, phenomenal at running back.
02:46This is yet another great game this week.
02:49I cannot wait for this game on Sunday.
