00:00the game.
00:06High ankle sprain and a low ankle sprain, how is that
00:08treated when you're coming up to a game?
00:10Is the taping the same as it would be for low ankle sprain
00:13for high ankle sprain?
00:14Or do you do something completely different?
00:17Well, I mean, it's a misnomer to say all low ankle sprains
00:21are better than high ankle sprains.
00:23A very severe low ankle sprain is worse than a
00:25mild high ankle sprain.
00:27Inversion low ankle sprains, the basketball type, are easier to tape or stabilize.
00:33High ankle sprains are very hard to fully tape.
00:37Sometimes you can inject them, etc.
00:39So it's not surprising they flare up or act up again, as in Justin Herbert's case.
00:45They've got the Chiefs this week.
00:47Now, it was interesting that they brought in Taylor Heineke, who just got there.
00:52I think he's more Jim Harbaugh's guy than Easton Stick.
00:57And maybe this cracks the door open to resting Justin Herbert again, or resting him this week.
01:04This is definitely going to be a coaching decision.
01:08There's no way Herbert will be 100%.
01:11And would you rather have a less than 100% Herbert, or go with the newly acquired Taylor Heineke?
