00:00Mike, your thoughts on, you know, the Jets got their coach fired, Aaron Rodgers runs
00:10the franchise.
00:11Then they went out and got his best friend today in a deal for Adams.
00:16And now I got to listen to this all week as they gear up to play my and your Steelers
00:21Sunday night in Pittsburgh.
00:23What could be worse?
00:24Yeah.
00:25And not only that, I mean, there are a lot of people in Pittsburgh who are upset that
00:28the Steelers were not able to get Devontae Adams, but I think Adams had a lot of input
00:33on that.
00:34If he had a choice between going to the Steelers to play for like to play with who knows who
00:41or go to New York and play with the guy who threw him a million touchdowns.
00:44I don't think that was really much of a competition.
00:46The Steelers might have had to go up to offering a first round pick or something like that.
00:50They were not doing that.
00:52So that was a part of the issue.
00:53And now you have the Steelers deciding, are they trying to throw a curveball at the Jets
00:58or they really seriously considering removing Justin Fields from the lineup and inserting
01:03Russell Wilson?
01:05It's that Tom Pellicero from the NFL Network says they have made the decision and that
01:10they're going to go with with with Russ and I can see.
01:16So a lot of reasons for the move Fields is play on Saturday in Vegas was much shakier
01:23than the outcome indicated and his stats indicated.
01:27He had two plays that were near turnovers that were all on him.
01:31A terrible interception that was wiped out by a roughing the passer penalty and then
01:36a foolish sideways pass that was technically a backwards pass that was he nearly ripped
01:42Jalen Warren's arm off and Warren fortunately was able to recover from that and go recover
01:49from the football in order to protect a scoring drive.
01:52So I can see why they're thinking about it.
01:54I'm surprised that they're not going to give Fields another opportunity and then remove
01:59him if he's performing poorly.
