00:00The stories are starting to trickle out.
00:06You and Gabe talked about this a little bit.
00:08You know there's going to be stories about Salah from the Jets side.
00:12You know that Salah is probably going to get his hands on someone and start putting stories
00:16out about either Rodgers or the Jets.
00:18Well, I just saw one that Salah was actually considering firing Nathaniel Hackett when
00:25they got back from London.
00:27And I guess the Jets beat him to it and decided to chop him instead.
00:32So that's how Salah was looking to change the offense up.
00:35Now you know Hackett's Rodgers boy, Scotty.
00:38So I'm sure that once that word got around, that's probably when Rodgers and Woody got
00:44together and put the hit out on Big Rob.
00:47Here is Woody before you comment on all of this.
00:50This is from that conference call I was telling you about just about an hour ago.
00:54Why did he make the move to chop Salah today?
00:58And my opening statement is that this is one of the most talented teams that has ever been
01:05assembled by the New York Jets.
01:08I wanted to give this team the most opportunity to win this season.
01:14I feel that we had to go in a different direction and that's why I did that today.
01:22This change, the change that we made today, that I made, I believe will bring new energy
01:28and positivity that will lead to more wins starting now.
01:36I want to say, which I've said earlier to some of the members of the leadership team
01:43that represents the players, how proud I am of this team, this Pacific team, this year.
01:52And excited about what could happen and what will happen, particularly given these changes
01:58that we've made today.
02:00I think they're relatively capable of being a dangerous football team.
02:04I'm not going to deny that.
02:06So I'll tell you one thing.
02:11It lends me to believe is that, look, I think LeFleur can coach flat out, right?
02:16And I think that that guy ended up fooling everyone.
02:22Everyone thought that he was like this great coach, right?
02:25And then he got the job in Denver and then butchered that up nice and juicy.
02:30And then he's come here.
02:32And in my opinion, he's unnecessary.
02:36I really do believe that he's insignificant at the end of the day.
02:40I don't understand their obsession.
02:42I've never seen anyone talk about more than this Hackett guy.
02:46And we all know who's running the Jets is Aaron Rodgers.
02:50Just let Aaron Rodgers call the plays.
02:52Let Aaron Rodgers freestyle, as far as I'm concerned.
02:55I mean, every time this guy drops back, that's what he does anyway.
02:58I do not believe they're running some kind of fancy, sophisticated Nate Hackett offense.
03:03I really don't.
03:04I think he's finding guys open and hitting him with that cannon of his.
03:08That's what they're about, is his arm.
03:10And what they have to do is run the ball and they got to protect him better.
03:15This guy is getting abused in the pocket.
03:18I mean, just I thought his knee blew out on Sunday.
03:22He got raped.
03:23He gets hit more than their running backs.
03:26It's unbelievable to me how bad their offensive line is.
03:30Let's just face facts.
03:31They have no running game.
03:32They don't protect him at all.
03:33He takes abuse.
03:34And you can talk about Nate Hackett until you're blue in the face.
03:38I don't care who their coach is.
03:40I don't care about their GM.
03:43I don't care about their owner.
03:46I agree with him that they have a lot of talent.
03:49And what they really need is to keep Rogers upright and untouched and let him go to work.
03:55I mean, you know what?
03:56He reminds me of Parcells.
03:57I mean, you're to cook.
03:59Can I pick the food?
04:01Are you kidding me?
04:02This guy's the chef.
04:03Can he cook the dinner?
04:05Let this guy cook and quit with all this other nonsense.
04:09They waste all day talking about this Hackett guy and Sala.
04:14Listen, Robert Sala.
04:16Now, you know, Morenci said he's the defensive coach every day.
04:20He never won.
04:22I don't care what his defense, offense, secondary linebackers, you know, Monday, Saturday, Thursday,
04:28Wednesday, morning, night, they never win.
04:34That's all that matters.
04:35You don't win.
04:36You get fired in the NFL.
04:37You don't win.
04:38You get fired in the NHL, NBA, MLB.
04:41You don't win.
04:42After three and a half years, you get fired.
04:43This is real simple stuff.
