00:00Jets head coach Robert Sala let go earlier this week by the New York Jets and off of
00:10five games Woody Johnson for the first time as the owner of the Jets fired a coach in
00:16season and there are people who want me to believe this has nothing to do with the quarterback.
00:23Jeff Ulbrich is the new interim head coach.
00:27By the way later in the week they finally settled on Todd Downing becoming the new offensive
00:32coordinator replacing Nate Hackett.
00:35I have literally no idea what Nate Hackett does for this football team then.
00:40Moving forward Lisey let me go to you.
00:43What did you make of Robert Sala being let go by the New York Jets.
00:47I was slightly shocked because it happened after his defense I believe performed fantastic
00:53in regards to the second half of that matchup.
00:55We were live on air and we saw Minnesota jump out to a 17 to nothing first half lead.
01:01We also saw the defense make adjustments put their team in a position to win that game
01:06and then Aaron Rodgers lost it with his third interception and then it looked like they
01:11were preparing for a Monday night game this coming Monday night with Buffalo and he gets
01:16let go.
01:17And the first thing that you think of is oh Rodgers wasn't happy.
01:20That's the first thing I think of is that Rodgers is running the organization even though
01:24Woody said he made the decision.
01:26We know that Rodgers you saw his body language throughout the game on top of looking like
01:30he couldn't walk in the second half of that matchup.
01:34He was disgusted.
01:35But he's never disgusted at himself and I think that is the biggest problem when you
01:39look at the organization with Sala.
01:42Why they had to let him go is because there were you know accountability.
01:46So Sala was trying to push some accountability on Aaron Rodgers.
01:51We heard at the cadence of the offense when they lost to Denver Rodgers disagreed.
01:56That was a problem.
01:57And we talked about the locker room when adversity hits are the young players sauce Gardner Garrett
02:03Wilson.
02:04They're going to look to Albrecht Donnie or are they going to look to Aaron Rodgers to
02:07fix it.
02:08Well let's talk about why he got fired typically in the NFL if you have a really bad record
02:11and you're going nowhere.
02:12Now granted they're two and three it's still early in the season or B you lost the locker
02:16room.
02:17He didn't lose the locker room or C it's your side of the football that you're a head coach
02:20of and your team is terrible on defense.
02:22That wasn't the case.
02:23They were very competent on defense.
02:25So it just boils down to Aaron Rodgers got his way like Robert saw gets fired and you're
02:29saying to yourself well did he get fired for Aaron Rodgers or it's clear Aaron Rodgers
02:34they had a problem with it.
02:35You know he wanted to go to Egypt.
02:36He probably said you can't go to Egypt.
02:38I'm going to run to my owner and say this is unfair.
02:41It's an OTA.
02:42I'm only going to miss two to three days here and come back.
02:43Or was it the fact that you want to control the strings on every single facet of this
02:48football team being Aaron Rodgers.
02:49Hey I don't want to put on for it down.
02:51He said I had the punt here.
02:52They're coming off the field.
02:53They're trying to hog once pushing the guy away.
02:54Oh no we have a great relationship.
02:56It's clear that it was strained right from the top.
02:58But now the focus is going to be on are you going to get that same thing out of the defensive
03:01coordinator because sauce gardeners goes up Robert's up we're playing for that guy this
03:04weekend man.
03:05We love him in this locker like there is a disconnect that we are going to have so much
03:09emotion on that Monday night football game guys win or lose.
03:11I can't wait to watch it play out.
