00:00great interleague series about to get started this weekend at
00:08Camden Yards. The Milwaukee Brewers in first place in the
00:12early going in the National League Central in eight and
00:14three mark. The Baltimore Orioles have won three in a row
00:18after the sweep in Fenway this week. Now, eight and four. Game
00:22number one of this set tonight in Baltimore in the O's as of
00:26this moment, a slight home favorite minus 118 over under
00:31eight and a half. What do we see tonight in Camden Yards?
00:35Both of these lineups cooking with grease against right-handed
00:39pitchers and both starting pitchers tonight are right-handed
00:41pitchers and also, we talked about those last two games. Wind
00:44blowing in there out in Cleveland. We just talked about
00:46a dome game where wind's not gonna factor in. As we get back
00:49to the east coast, about 60° temperatures at start time
00:52tonight and how about this? A wind blowing out to right field
00:55at 13 miles an hour in Baltimore. So, we do have some
00:59plus conditions here that we can look at and as I told you,
01:02the lineups are very good on both sides as they relate to
01:05right-handed pitching but here's the factor. Let's take a
01:07look here and look at, let me see, let's go with the
01:09Baltimore lineup first before we take a look at Milwaukee.
01:12Wells will be on the mound here today. Actually, you know what?
01:15Let me just flip this around two seconds. Alright, there we
01:16go. Yeah. Baltimore's lineup. Gunner Henderson, 333 ISO power
01:20number. O'Hearn, 261. Mountcastle, 231. Mullins too.
01:23You get the point here. They can really hammer away but
01:26Freddy Peralta has actually struggled here against
01:29right-handed batters early in the season in 2024. ISO power
01:32number 286. That means if you can get a hold of one of those
01:35baseballs, you can really rock it. Now, the question is gonna
01:38be a lot of left-handed batters in the lineup tonight for the
01:41Orioles. Henderson, Rutchman, Santander, O'Hearn, Mullins,
01:44Couser, and also Holiday are all left-handed batters tonight.
01:48How does that focus in on Freddy Peralta? We'll take a look at
01:50this, Ben. Twenty-six batters he's faced from the left-hand
01:53side this year. A zero ISO and a 122 weighted on base
01:57percentage. So, some of these lineup that look like they
02:00should be murderers row based on the early season statistics.
02:03The pitcher's actually getting the better matchups. We don't
02:05want that, Ben. We want him to be struggling against
02:08left-handed batters tonight. So, those left-handed batters can
02:11use that win to their advantage and blast baseballs off of the
02:14warehouse in right field here. But if you're looking at that
02:17Milwaukee Brewers lineup, maybe the best presenting lineup
02:20right now in the early season against right-handed pitching.
02:23The weighted on base percentages here for the Brewers. 349, 499,
02:27397, 337, 333. Every single batter is a green light in that
02:32lineup. So, we're focusing on what Wells has done good this
02:35year. He's been average at best. A 174 ISO, a weighted on base
02:40percentage of 317. So, for me, I actually like the Milwaukee
02:44Brewers today going up against the Orioles just based on the
02:47early season lineup and how those pitchers are faring
02:49against said batters.
