02:29 Stuart Jones. Jenny Jones. And what's your roles?
02:33 Together we run the market organised show to the farmers market and we've been very honoured today by Her Majesty the Queen.
02:41 We've been so fortunate with the weather, hopefully it's not dreading it this morning, but the sun came out, huge crowds, very very friendly atmosphere and the Queen was very well received and enjoyed going around the market and speaking to the various producers to learn about what they sell.
02:56 And why did she decide to come here?
02:59 Well we're very fortunate, we've been selected by the Palace to visit the markets, built up a very good reputation over the last 18 years and hopefully we'll be recognised for the excellence that's on display here.
03:15 Brilliant, thank you very much. And your reaction to today's turnout?
03:20 That's been incredible, very people, very very friendly, very large crowds and just a great day for the town centre of Shrewsbury.
03:30 And have you met royalty before?
03:32 Yes.
03:33 [Laughter]
03:34 So what's the story behind the yes?
03:36 Princess Alexandra about 10 years ago at Battlefield.
03:40 Oh brilliant.
03:41 She came to open when they opened a section of the shop.
03:44 Fantastic.
03:45 So do you run other markets as well?
03:48 We do, we run Whitchurch and then we put up stalls for those other markets so we do about 52 a year.
03:55 52 a year, brilliant. And how successful is the business?
03:59 It's done really well and we did worry after Covid that people would be buying more online but they've come back and enjoyed and the quality of the produce we've got here in Shrewsbury is what attracts people and makes it successful it is.
04:13 Brilliant, so people are really supporting local businesses and the markets?
04:19 Yeah it's local businesses, it's ethically produced, a lot of it's free range, we've got vegetarian, vegan and very low, mostly natural ingredients as well so it's a very healthy product by and large that we sell here.
04:35 Brilliant, thank you, well done for today, thanks very much for your time.
04:37 Thank you.
