00:03 Mahomes at this point, Warren, with very little left to prove,
00:06 he's just chasing Tom Brady, I guess, right?
00:08 At this point, to be one of the all time best quarterbacks.
00:13 What's interesting is that growing up, I still have Montana there, and
00:18 winning all those Super Bowls for San Francisco.
00:20 And certainly, Tom Brady's in that conversation there too.
00:23 And I guess it's just a fair assumption that Mahomes is right there among them.
00:30 But growing up, Warren, in South Florida, if I made that assumption about Dan Marino,
00:34 which I did, because his first year he got to the Super Bowl, I was like, wow,
00:38 this guy Dan Marino, as I'm watching TV, is gonna be the greatest quarterback of
00:42 all time, first year in the Super Bowl, and then never got back again.
00:47 So I don't know it's a fair assumption, but I guess you could say the trajectory
00:50 will show us that when Patrick Mahomes' career is over, not only is he going
00:54 to Canton, but he's gonna go down as perhaps the greatest or
00:57 one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
01:00 >> There's still not about it.
01:01 The funny part about this season though is that really was the furthest thing from
01:05 what we were talking about for most of the year.
01:07 This team goes out after winning the Super Bowl and
01:09 they lose their first game of the season to the Detroit Lions.
01:12 And from that point onward,
01:14 I think that they started to develop a chip on their shoulder.
01:16 We in the media were not discussing them the same way that we had in years past,
01:20 when they were setting records, breaking records.
01:24 And this offense looked lost for a large part of the season.
01:29 They had to really develop and
01:30 Patrick Mahomes really had to figure out different ways to win games.
01:34 And the fact that this team knows so many different ways to win games now,
01:39 should be a scary thing for the rest of the league.
01:41 Because I think that they're built for adversity should it befall them, but
01:46 they're also naturally built to go on runs and to have high flying,
01:52 sustained successes during periods of time as well as they've proved in years past.
01:57 So, they'll be moving pieces offensively, they'll be getting some new guys in
02:02 that might be able to help them reach some of their ceilings that they have
02:04 offensively.
02:05 But Patrick Mahomes is a quarterback, Andy Reid is a coach.
02:09 As long as you have those two guys, it's gonna be hard to derail this squad.
