00:02 Hello Vogue, it's Coco.
00:07 I'm so excited.
00:09 This is gonna be my everyday skincare routine
00:11 and my makeup, my quick girl, just do it routine.
00:15 Let's go.
00:16 I'm gonna do a cleanser.
00:18 I like something simple with a purpose.
00:21 I don't fully know what toner does.
00:28 It does something though.
00:29 And I don't use a cotton pad.
00:31 Put it on my hands.
00:32 As YouTube and all of the social media platforms
00:37 got more popular, I got more into what acne even is.
00:41 Because one thing about a dark spot,
00:42 it's gonna be there for a cute three to four
00:43 business months.
00:44 So I'm just trying to avoid the process entirely.
00:47 Next, I'm gonna do my moisturizer.
00:50 I just use a little bit.
00:51 I'm gonna do some sunscreen.
00:55 All my melanin queens, you do need sunscreen, girl.
00:58 You want your dark spots to literally get darker.
01:01 Okay, next I'm gonna use some glow recipe
01:06 to really give me that shine that I'm looking for.
01:10 Focusing mainly on where I really wanna shine
01:13 'cause the oil will do the rest.
01:14 Skincare has definitely been trial and error,
01:20 especially when I was in that stage of like,
01:22 I can do this better than a professional.
01:24 I think for me, I made it too complicated
01:27 when really I just needed a simple routine
01:29 with quality ingredients.
01:31 And I had to learn that the hard way.
01:33 I like glossy and I like hydrating.
01:36 That's just what works for me.
01:37 Skin is done.
01:38 I'm feeling glow.com.
01:40 Hello, good morning.
01:41 And now it's time for my makeup.
01:43 I'm gonna do the brows first.
01:44 I'm gonna do the brows first.
01:45 Me and my brows, I just don't play about them
01:49 because I had a very bad experience with brows.
01:51 One time I let this girl tweeze them
01:53 and they literally looked like parentheses
01:55 right before I went on stage for months.
01:58 My brows didn't grow back.
01:59 So I learned how to draw them perfectly.
02:00 I'm really, really particular about my brows.
02:03 Today I wanna give like, you know,
02:07 I just left the threading room.
02:09 Let's do skin.
02:12 I mix shades like a mixologist.
02:14 I'm not gonna commit to mixing them yet,
02:16 but I just wanna see what they look like on my hands.
02:18 Just a little hand palette, you know?
02:20 My makeup artist just put me onto these.
02:22 Oh, that's good too.
02:24 I'm gonna take this darker one
02:26 and go like right around here with it,
02:28 also in my forehead.
02:30 And then I'm gonna bring like these light up moments.
02:36 I just get to blending.
02:38 I don't really know what's gonna happen
02:40 at the end of the day.
02:41 When I was growing up, I didn't know much about makeup
02:46 and my mom would do my makeup.
02:47 Plus I was like an industry kid.
02:49 So I'm doing all types of performances and whatnot.
02:53 I say that those were my potato phase era.
02:56 It was basically one shade, one note, one song,
02:59 and you're gonna like it.
03:01 There is absolutely way more hope, way more diversity,
03:05 way more help out there than when I was doing
03:09 my Disney Channel days looking like a flat face.
03:11 I'm using my Fenty Pro Filter Powder in 470.
03:16 And then I just like tap on a little bit,
03:18 see what happened.
03:19 Am I okay?
03:20 Everything's fine.
03:21 When I do my nose contour,
03:23 I also just take it to my eye crease.
03:26 'Cause sometimes that's all you're gonna get from me
03:28 is a little contour that slipped into my eye crease.
03:32 My NARS concealers are gonna be next.
03:34 I start with like a more yellow concealer around here.
03:39 One of the things that I really, really appreciate
03:49 and respect about my makeup artist is the power of blending.
03:52 I think sometimes I just get so, okay, let's go.
03:55 Especially with them, I'm like, what are we doing?
03:57 It's been two hours.
03:59 But they are really just making sure that it's all seamless.
04:02 This is what they also taught me, my makeup artist,
04:05 because you don't want it to crease.
04:07 You look up like, hey, are you there, Lord?
04:10 It's me.
04:11 This is a Fashion Fair Set It Loose Powder.
04:17 I'm just gonna put like some of it in my hand.
04:19 I'm just gonna pat this.
04:21 One more time, look up, get those creases out of here.
04:25 Keep looking up, don't you dare look down.
04:27 You're free, you're free.
04:31 Hopefully you set yourself up for a non-crease day.
04:33 I'm rooting for you, I'm rooting for myself.
04:35 Next, I'm going to do my contour and my blush moment.
04:40 When I'm doing my makeup,
04:41 honestly, sometimes it's like silence.
04:44 I'm really just thinking about what I have to do that day.
04:46 Sometimes life is moving so fast.
04:49 I just use my makeup time to just be a little more still.
04:54 Going back in with that Fenty shade
04:55 that I mentioned to you guys, I do like this.
04:57 And I just look for wherever the shadow starts.
05:00 My next thing is blush.
05:06 Love this L'Oreal Super Rosy Pink Blush.
05:09 It's just perfect for during the day,
05:11 not trying to do too much, but giving.
05:13 I'm embarrassed, I'm shy.
05:15 This is a perfect color for that.
05:17 Unfortunately, the brows have sort of left the chat
05:20 and that's not acceptable.
05:22 So we're gonna re-establish them
05:25 as important partners in this firm.
05:28 I'm just gonna set the rest of my face a little loosely.
05:31 Being nominated for five Grammys
05:37 is not something that I feel like I ever will fully digest.
05:42 I think it's crazy 'cause I only released a debut EP,
05:45 so to have this much recognition
05:48 is just not what I expected, you know?
05:50 I kept my expectations low just in case.
05:53 I don't know what I'm gonna wear, you guys.
05:55 Truly, honestly, my stylist is having a feel day.
05:58 I personally want to feel myself,
06:01 but I also wanna do something that I've never done before,
06:03 make a moment, since this is really a moment in time
06:06 of my life, this is a highlight that I'll never ever forget.
06:09 I am gonna do an outfit change, I just learned that today.
06:13 I'm just gonna carve out my brows a little bit.
06:15 So I'm gonna use some of my lighter foundation
06:17 and my concealer 'cause I just don't want it
06:19 to be too bright, I want everything to be seamless.
06:22 I love collabs.
06:26 I feel like they're a great opportunity
06:27 to get a new fan base,
06:29 to just creatively extend yourself to another world.
06:33 Love me some Renee.
06:35 Renee, rap is that girl.
06:37 You know something that I really wanna do?
06:40 I wanna do a rapper with me on the hook.
06:43 I feel like that's just so 90s.
06:44 My dream collab would be, honestly, Beyonce, Rihanna.
06:48 I just personally want to learn from the women
06:51 who have come before me.
06:52 They're still so successful and so relevant
06:54 and so culture-shifting as creatives
06:58 that that's the goal for me, that type of longevity.
07:00 I'm gonna set my brows with this Benefit brow gel
07:02 because I'm satisfied with who they are.
07:04 This is also a Danessa Myricks palette, look at these.
07:09 They're so like, pop a shine.
07:11 I'm just gonna do like a little shine on my lid.
07:14 This is fearless.
07:16 I love this color.
07:17 Honestly, I love all the names
07:18 'cause they're giving very affirmation
07:20 and that's part of me.
07:21 Then I'm gonna take a little bit more of my contour
07:25 and put that in the crease.
07:27 Okay, I do wanna do some eyeliner.
07:30 This is kind of a wing moment.
07:41 I don't do anything too dramatic.
07:42 Next I'm going in with my L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara.
07:46 I am very proud of my eyelashes, you guys.
07:49 I have to be real with you.
07:51 I have been tempted and pressed to do eyelash extensions
07:54 and I don't think it's my truth.
07:55 I'm scared to get rid of my natural lashes.
07:57 They're really good.
07:58 So basically I look up like this and I just press them up
08:01 and then I kind of do like this, wink, wink, wink,
08:03 then this one, wink, wink.
08:04 Then you're gonna go right at the tail,
08:07 right at the end of the lashes
08:09 and you're just gonna hook line and sinker,
08:11 twist it out, you know?
08:13 Look at that.
08:14 I'm telling you guys,
08:15 this is how I literally don't have to apply lashes.
08:18 Now I'm gonna do one of my favorite parts.
08:22 Oh, is lining my lips.
08:25 Gonna take my Fenty Glow Lip Gloss Girl
08:32 because she's really cute
08:34 and I'm just gonna put it right in the center.
08:36 I like that.
08:38 I liked exactly where it went
08:39 and that's just all I need to do there.
08:40 My other lip liner, it's gonna go under my eyes.
08:44 I'm gonna set my face.
08:48 Be careful with your edges.
08:49 This is K-Skin.
08:52 Finish it off with your perfume, girl.
08:57 This is my way, Giorgio Armani.
09:00 Thank you so much Vogue for having me.
09:05 This was seriously so fun.
09:07 Love you guys.
09:08 Thanks for watching.
09:09 See you guys later.
