00:12 Southern Rail had reported at 3.45pm yesterday that all lines between Lewis and Eastbourne

00:16 had been blocked following the incident.

00:18 The A259 at the railway crossing had seen delays in both directions due to the incident

00:22 and the High Street was closed as police attended the scene.

00:27 One police were called to an incident which took place on a residential road in Hastings.

00:31 Police said they were sent a report of a man being threatened by a group of males armed

00:35 with weapons as he got into his vehicle in Southdown Avenue in Hastings.

00:38 The incident happened just before 3pm on Sunday January 7th according to Sussex Police.

00:45 And finally, supermarket railways Hisby has closed its Worthing store with apologies for
