00:00I have open profile skin and beauty, I have been in the industry within other salons locally
00:07for 8 years now, nearly 9, and decided just to take the step to go on my own basically
00:13and that's how Profile Skin and Beauty was born.
00:15Today is our open event and we're officially open for treatments on Monday.
00:19Personally, obviously it's only going to be me to begin with before I expand the business.
00:23I've got a passion for skin care so I do actually do all aspects of beauty, manicures, pedicures,
00:29bi-ab nails, waxing, massages, facials.
00:33We've partnered with a really exciting skin care brand that no one else has around here
00:37called Fetus CN and they're really up and coming in the UK.
00:40They're all sustainable, 100% sustainable and only use natural ingredients in their
00:46products so really good for well-being as well.
00:50We offer anti-ageing treatments and progression, like personally I will be going down introducing
00:58collagen induction therapies with micro-needling, micro-dermabrasion, things like that and then
01:03eventually we'll expand the business and hopefully offer some apprenticeships here and run training
01:07days within niche areas of beauty.
01:10My customers have kind of become my friends over the years.
01:12I've made really brilliant relationships, maintaining those relationships as well, but
01:16yeah you become friends with them, you understand what they're looking for and they become part
01:20of your family and they are obviously really important to me getting to this point.
01:25I've been really overwhelmed with all the support and surprised at how many people as
01:30well that you don't really think think a lot of you but have actually followed and supported
01:34this venture so it's really lovely.
